BOYS BASKETBALL

Out of all the spectacular shots the U12 A have made, I seriously don’t know what we should start with. The game-winning shot against Al Barsha or the final few shots against DESC that guaranteed us a place on the podium, I don’t know which one I sincerely appreciate the most. Everyone came to the training sessions even though some were a little bit too early for us and I could not appreciate Kian enough for supporting us in the final game against DESC even though he was injured. Although we came third in our division, we have many years ahead where we could still come first and lift the cup. As long as we keep on working hard and make the right decisions in the game, I am a hundred percent sure that we will lift the cup up into the air next year.

U12 A Basketball

What an incredible season for the U12 B team. The B team worked incredibly hard this season. We started off at Jumeirah English College with an incredible result of 56-4 and after narrowly winning against SIS 28-25. With Taha and Kaspar up front and Zhizhong and Tarik at centre we had a team who cared for each other on and off the court. This meant we were now in the semifinal against JESS. It was a very difficult game with many controversial moments, but in the end, JESS just narrowly pulled through winning 33-28.

Despite that, I am incredibly proud of this team, I thought we worked with grit and integrity and persevered through the seasons ups and downs. I would like to thank Mr Jones for his superb coaching, patience, and positivity during the season. I am sure we are sad to end the amazing season but looking forward to the next... we’ll be back!
