BOYS WATER POLO

This water polo season has been incredible. The A’s are unbeaten and drew on one occasion- a very impressive water polo season! Izzy is a beast in the goal (only conceding 9 goals), saving nearly all of the shots from our opposition. On the other hand, Talia, Oceane, Tara and Lilly always got the ball at the back of the net (21 goals) while Sanaya, Annabelle, Lana, Charlotte and Emily made a strong and secure defense for our team. Our season has tested our perseverance and strength.

We have worked incredibly as a team and have cared for each other inside and outside of the pool. We have built our teamwork and our humility for when we win our matches. We have made a lot of progress throughout the season to become a stronger team from where we started. I am so proud of all the U13 water polo girls! We have improved so much from the beginning of the term and grown as a team. I know that we are all so sad to end the season but also happy that we ended it on a high. We are also really grateful to have Miss Paice as our coach. We can’t wait for next year and to have another successful season!

This water polo season for the U13B’s, which consists of Year 7s, has been phenomenal. Although we have only played 3 matches this season, the whole team has improved immensely, going through all the obstacles that were thrown our way. We are very proud of all of the players, especially Emily and Mannat, for they have proven that they are dedicated towards the team and never fail to impress. A vast majority of the team have just learnt how to play this year, nevertheless, they have improved their ball handling skills and overall techniques, such as shooting skills. In and out of the pool, the team has developed a bond in both trust and friendship.

Another thing that we are enormously proud of is that some of the players in the team got to experience playing in both the A and B teams. At the start of the season, there were not a lot of year 7’s who attended the training sessions, however, thanks to Miss Paice’s efforts, the number of girls increased. This team has had its highs and lows, but we have gone and come back from each match with smiles on our faces. On behalf of the team, we would like to say thank you to Miss Paice, who helped us through this season, for attending every match and early morning practices;. we truly believe Miss Paice is the most valuable asset to the team. Next year we hope to finish the season even stronger with a trophy in our hands.
