BOYS BASKETBALL

What an incredible season for the U14 teams. We start off with the A team, who won all of their group games, going 4-0. During this time, we defeated teams like Jumeirah College and DIA. There were some fantastic performances and some great teamwork on display. It was more difficult for the U14 B team but they managed to pick up many great results like wins against Kings School Al Barsha and GEMS World Academy

The A team managed to get through to the semi-finals where we played JESS. It was a very close game, going end to end but finished with us just pulling through with a score of 30-27. This meant that we were now in the final against DESC. It was a very difficult game, with many heated moments and controversial decisions. Unfortunately, DESC just pulled through at the end and we finished in 2nd place.

Despite that, I’m very proud of this team. We worked brilliantly all year and I would like to mention Mr Riordan and Coach Milos who coached and helped us all throughout the season and made us the best versions of ourselves on the court. I’m sure next year we will be collecting that gold.
