One of them is Fluid Global Solutions a ten-year-old company that has a great desire to grow. He had the opportunity for a short interview with Mr. Simone Trevale (Sales Manager Fluid Global Solutions). The interview follows:

What does your service portfolio include? S. T.: Service is one of the main components of the FGS philosophy. It is not easy to describe in a few words how important it is to us, but one of the main points is being able to make our customers happy who in turn advertise us by involving our brand with other customers.

NAFS: How do you achieve the goal of guaranteeing maximum reliability in terms of product quality and flexibility to your customers?

NAFS: All your supply phases, from production to the supply of parts, up to the fulfilment of the material, are controlled and followed by high quality standards certified by RINA ISO9001. What does the word quality mean to you?

S. T.: In this difficult period, due to the situation of COVID, we must be increasingly reliable by guaranteeing our customers the maximum efficiency in responding to their requests for offers and explanations. Unfortunately, travel will not be possible in the short term and for this reason there is a need to change the working methodology offering our customers maximum reliability in terms of product quality and flexibility. During this time we have benefited greatly from meetings on digital platforms.

S. T.: Quality is very important to us and could be summarized as follows: *performance *reliability *duration *maintainability *formal aspects *functionality *compliance

NAFS: Over the years your company has developed a very important know-how, which today makes you a leading company in the sector of the supply of pumps and spare parts in the shipbuilding market. Could you tell us a few words about it?

We are a reality that is equipped to give any type of individual certification for the major classifications (eg Bureau veritas, DNV). We also have relationships with Italian and foreign refineries.

S. T.: We are fortunate to have a well-stocked warehouse with the possibility of having fast deliveries. Our technical department follows the customer indicating the best solutions. Our knowhow derives from the situations that are created year after year and that have led us to increase our customer portfolio all over the world. Let’s not forget that an important step was to become exclusive agents (Italy and Malta) for DESMI products ( pumps and ballast water ). One of the most important aspects on which

NAFS: What are your plans for the years to come and what opportunities do you think will present themselves in the next period for your company? S. T.: We are a ten-year-old company that has a great desire to grow. Every year we add some important pieces (vertical warehouse for example) and for this year we would like to increase our sales in Greece.
