COME MISURARE LA PORTATA IN SPAZI CONFINATI FlowtraMag 2850, misuratore di portata firmato Georg Fischer, assicura installazione space-saving, accuratezza e innovative modalità di configurazione tramite app Una delle sfide più ricorrenti in campo industriale è la misurazione della portata in condizioni di spazi ristretti, come ad esempio negli skid. Tipicamente, i misuratori di portata classici, per garantire prestazioni accettabili, richiedono lunghi tratti di tubazione diritta, a monte e a valle dello strumento. In aggiunta, le tubazioni sono spesso realizzate in materiale plastico: il peso di uno strumento in metallo non è trascurabile e comporta maggiori sollecitazioni per il piping oltre che, nella maggior parte dei casi, la necessità di predisporre staffaggi aggiuntivi. Per ovviare a queste difficoltà, Georg Fischer ha introdotto il FlowtraMag 2850, misuratore di portata elettromagnetico in linea a passaggio pieno disponibile nei diametri DN25/1”, DN50/2”, DN100/4”. Provvisto di corpo in PVC-U, è da 2 a 3 volte più leggero dei misuratori magnetici in metallo presenti sul mercato. L’installazione in spazi ristretti non è più un problema: per prestazioni ottimali sono sufficienti brevi tratti di tubazione rettilinea a monte e a valle dello strumento (rispettivamente, 3 e 2 volte il diametro interno del tubo). Il FlowtraMag è pre-calibrato in fabbrica, in modo da garantire un’accuratezza pari a +/- 1 % rispetto alla lettura, e completamente configurabile in modo “smart” tramite l’App gratuita GF Configuration Tool. La possibilità di selezionare 3 diverse uscite (4-20 mA, frequenza e digitale) rende possibile il collegamento a PLC o trasmettitori Georg Fischer Signet.

HOW TO MEASURE THE FLOW RATE IN CONFINED SPACES FlowtraMag 2850, flowmeter by Geor Fischer, provides space-saving installation, accuracy and innovative configuration methods through mobile app One of the most common challenges in the industrial field is the measurement of the flow rate in confined space conditions, such as in skids. Typically, classic flow meters require long straight, upstream and downstream pipeline sections to ensure acceptable performance. In addition, the piping is often made of plastic material: the weight of a metal instrument is not negligible and involves greater stress for piping as well as, in most cases, the need for additional brackets. To overcome these difficulties, Georg Fischer has introduced the FlowtraMag 2850, an in-line full-pass electromagnetic flow meter available in diameters DN25/1”, DN50/2”, DN100/4”. Equipped with PVC-U body, it is 2 to 3 times lighter than metal magnetic flowmeters on the market. Installation in confined spaces is no longer a problem: for optimal performance, short stretches of straight pipe upstream and downstream of the instrument (3 and 2 times the internal diameter of the pipe respectively) are sufficient. The FlowtraMag is pre-calibrated at the factory to ensure +/- 1% accuracy compared to reading, and fully configurable in “smart” mode using the free GF Configuration Tool App. The possibility to select 3 different outputs (420 mA, frequency and digital) makes it possible to connect to Georg Fischer Signet PLCs or transmitters.
