Notes: 1. We often use any before a plural noun in a question with there. Are there any windows in the kitchen? 2. In a short answer with no, we usually make contractions. We don’t make a contraction in a short answer with yes. No, there aren’t. No, there isn’t. or No, there’s not. 3. In how many questions with a location, we sometimes omit there.
