ETSAB STUDENTS
Our students are often recognised for their notable competence across all areas of architectural design, from urban scale, to technology, and to the detail of the project. One of the main aims of our academic training is to incorporate the notion of place, the brief and materiality right from the very start of the design process. This degree of holistic understanding in the training of our students is of particular value in the increasingly global sphere in which we move. The School is very conscious that not all who qualify as architects will go in to practice, or indeed practise in the same way, as today there are many different ways in which architects may work. We therefore place great importance on providing our students with the necessary knowledge base and tools to tackle this diverse situation and its corresponding aims to provide its alumni with a sensitive and concerned vision with which to enrich their daily work.
