Fulldome-Filmvorführungen im Planetarium verbinden das Seherlebnis des 3D-Formats mit der Einzigartigkeit eines Kinobesuchs: immersives Kino im öffentlichen Raum. Inzwischen ist das Fulldome-Kino eine Synthese mit der Videokunst und sogar Erzählformaten eingegangen, tanzen Pixel, Formen, Moleküle über die Rundum-Leinwand, bauen sich zu Mythen und Geschichten auf, um gleich darauf wieder ganz sachlich in sich zusammenzufallen. So loten Fulldome-Künstler die Möglichkeiten ihres Genres aus. Mal mit psychedelischen Farbenspielen, mal als variantenreiche Weitererzählung des wissenschaftlichen Erklärfilms, der Generationen von Kindern und Erwachsenen die faszinierende Unendlichkeit von Zeit, Raum und Natur nahebrachte. So wird Bewusstsein erweitert, überwältigend, spielerisch und künstlerisch vielfältig. BB

Das Programm wurde zusammengestellt vom FullDome Festival Jena. Full dome screenings in the planetarium combine the visual experience of the 3D format with the uniqueness of a visit to the cinema: immersive cinema in public spaces.
