IS YOUNG INDIA JOB READY?
The real purpose of education is to make youth socially responsible, economically viable and emotionally balanced. But the truth be told that industry perceives that 65 to 70 per cent degree holders do not possess employability conditions. However, neither the industry has clearly specified the factors that decide these numbers nor has mentioned the criteria or the required skills in an un ambiguous manner. Having been on the recruiting panel of defence services in my military career and now for over a decade involved with hiring in corporate world, I hold a firm conviction that much is desired to prepare our youth for skills that Gandhi termed as education for life along with education for living.
The current economic crisis has further augmented the problem of employment in India. Our country which was already facing an ‘unemployed growth’ has suddenly been pushed into a job recession scenario in recent years.
According to the latest data, India’s jobless rate rested at 8.63% per cent in December 2022 which is a thing of grave concern in a country that boasts of 65 % youth population below 35 years of age.
In my opinion, not only have job opportunities lessened courtesy AI, but the nature of jobs has also undergone a dramatic change in last decade or so in the world.
Whilst those jobless need to demonstrate employability by upskilling and upscaling skills that make them desirable. Indeed, planning for future employment also needs developing new levels of operability as learning remains a lifelong imperative for career development. Therefore, accepting ownership of your own career is the only key to achieving job worthiness for sustainable growth
IN-DEPTH THE MNREGA BUDGETARY CUT FLUMMOXES ANALYSTS
The slashing of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MNREGA), NREGA in short, to Rs 60,000 crore in 2023-24 has taken some analysts by surprise. There is a reason why they are trying to figure out this deep cut - the allocation in this budget is the lowest-ever since 2006 and comes after a record outlay of over Rs 389.09 crore. In 2021-22 also the allocation was around Rs 300 crore. One obvious reason is that the worst is behind us. The record allocations were meant to help the rural poor during the pandemic when jobs were scarce. The government also made impressive provision for food subsidy to help the poor during the Covid period. Incidentally, the outlay for food subsidy has also been cut in this year’s budget. Two other minor aspects of NREGA also need mention. The employment scheme was grossly misused for pilfering the exchequer’s funds. The other reason could have been to check diversion of labour from farm activity.
ants do not have an iota of understanding of the role they are to perform within organisations. This means that they also are not aware of what skills are needed to be acquired for the job today or, in the future to be able to continue to effectively perform their role.
Greater digital representation of work, paramount shift in buying behaviours and the volatile markets have given rise to the need for multiple skill sets among the younger generation looking for job opportunities. Therefore, with the changing landscape of recruitment, influence of technology and a very dynamic and fast changing market, job readiness is something that can be the differentiator between job search and job seeking.
Though, the job readiness covers a plethora of factors, the important ones that can be summarised are just three.
Number one, understanding your job. It really should be an obvious thing but it is alarming that many aspir-
FOR A SOCIETY WITHOUT CASTES
Number two is development of the skill sets to suit the job profile. That is, identifying the gaps and areas of development and articulating it with appropriate skill sets to bridge the existing gaps. One glaring thing that is irksome is that job hunters are not able to demonstrate during an interview that they have the skills required to immediately transition in to a role they are being interviewed for.
And lastly, the most important one is the expertise of presentation and communication which holds key to your success at the interview. If one can reflect understanding of the role and the level of professionalism coupled with personal etiquettes and communicational proficiency, well, the job is within reach.

Competition is fierce and employers have become less willing to invest in learning and development of their employees as it is not costeffective and employee turnover reduces return on investment. In such a scheme, the students should realise that there is little correlation between having a degree and being qualified for a job. Every job needs different expertise, yet, the employers seek out candidates with transferable skills like team work & strategic thinking because they showcase applicant’s range of flexibility and adaptability. Indeed, there is a great deal more to job readiness for YOUNG INDIA than what is so far discussed. For all individuals, who are employed, they need to remain employable by learning the transferable skills. Shanelle’s wedding functions are being held at the famous Khimsar Fort in Nagaur district near Jodhpur.
While Zubin and the bride groom had already reached the venue on Tuesday, Irani, who could not on account of the session in Parliament, reached
Jodhpur on Wednesday morning and headed straight to the venue by road to join the functions.
According to the fort sources, the guest list has already been provided to the fort management. The ceremonies began with the rituals like ‘mehandi’ and application of turmeric on Wednesday and will culminate in the night with a musical and dance programme along with dinner.
sources claim that in comparison to other states, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s relation with state bureaucracy is strong and good. The officials do not work under fear, but with utmost will to do better and stay committed to work. Whereas the truth is that the Chief Minister does not shy away from patting the backs of bureaucrats. In such a good situation, Randhawa’s ‘words’ to ministers is pointless.

Choose an offshoulder or sleeveless blouse to add length to your body if you are petite. Go for a (Banasri) silk saree with long sleeves if your body is hourglass or pear-shaped as it will accentuate your waistline and give you curves. A straight-cut saree will help balance out a curvier body shape. For
the perfect blend of style and elegance, choose plain sarees or a bordered saree with a designer blouse rather than heav-

This person might be one of your friends, family, your spouse, your girlfriend, or anybody else you care about.
Everyone wishes to make this kind, of chocolatey gesture so that it makes your better half grin broadly and gorgeously. When you are not present, surprise your spouse with a box of chocolates; when they call, you can almost hear the excitement in their voice.
EMBELLISHED CHOCO MASON JAR:

Mason jars are readily found online. Get the mason jar and some of your loved ones' favourite chocolate. The creative part now is to list all the reasons in as many brief
notes as you can why you adore your lover. Fill the Mason jar with the chocolates after attaching those tiny messages. Make your own decorations for it using hearts, glitter, and ribbons. Giving this to your loved ones will amaze them and make them smile.
PREPARE YOUR OWN CHOCOLATE:
Better than any chocolate you can buy at the store is a chocolate treat created with love. While some of your work may be required, you can be confident that it won't be in vain. Your lover may sense your love through the effort you have made, even when it doesn't take up much of your time. Make sure your spouse enjoys chocolate before you start making it for them. Don't presume since doing so might sour the day's festivities. This time, give chocolate-making a try for your loved ones. One of the thoughtful acts that might surprise and delight your loved ones is this one.
PERSONALIZED BOX OF CHOCOLATES:
Add a special touch of memories to your chocolates to make the occasion more touching. You may order a customised chocolate box with a photo of yourself. chocolate-filled box. This present cheers people up and serves as a reminder of your love and concern for your family.
CHOCOLATE EXPLOSION
BOX WITH A GIFT:
Explosion boxes are one of the greatest options if you're seeking something special to surprise your loved ones. The opening of this box reveals many layers of scrumptious chocolates. By including a picture of your loved ones, you may further customise these boxes. Give this to the people you love most in the world. With this present, you may increase their love for you and make them feel on top of the world.
