The Historical Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be the host of the Ninth Branding Conference, due to take place on May 31 this year. The slogan of this year’s branding conference, Hack the influence, is not an invitation for learning to master Social Media Influencing. World experts at this year’s branding conference will discuss a much more complex concept of influence, which is characteristic for brands with an attitude. Branding conference 9 reveals a great transformation of business thinking, which relies on the principle of creating common values between brands and users, dealing with the needs and challenges of the society that it connects to and building new values. This year, renowned experts and great lecturers will represent their ideas and ways in which it is possible to build a relationship between the brand and consumer, building a recognizable influence. There will also be talk of how and why one should form a brand with an attitude and what the risks of having an attitude are.

Stari Grad je odnedavno bogatiji za još jednu oazu mira, prirode i čistoće. Na lokalitetu Grdonj otvoren je Park Šuma prijateljstva. Ovaj moderno uređeni park, na putu prema izletištu Barice, građanima nudi brojne sadržaje i aktivnosti u prirodi, a udaljen je svega dvadesetak minuta vožnje od Baščaršije i prvi je takve vrste u Bosni i Hercegovini. Park se prostire na površini većoj od šest hektara, a posjeduje uređene staze za šetnju, amfiteatar, dječije igralište, sprave za vježbanje, šadrvane, hladnjake, restoran, suvenirnice, pet javnih česmi, portirnicu i druge sadržaje. Osim toga, Park šuma prijateljstva ima i malo vještačko jezero, prostor za piknike, te veliki vidikovac.

THE PARK ŠUMA PRIJATELJSTVA (FOREST OF FRIENDSHIP) Old Town has recently been enriched with another oasis of peace, nature and cleanliness. At Grdonj, the Park Šuma Prijateljstva was opened. This modern park, on the way to excursion site Barice, offers citizens many activities in nature, and it is only a 20-minute drive from Baščaršija and it is the first of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The park stretches out over an area larger than six hectares, and there are walking trails, an amphitheater, a children's playground, exercise equipment, fountains, arbors, a restaurant, souvenir shops, five public fountains, a reception and more. Apart from that, the Park Šuma Prijateljstva has a small artificial lake, picnic areas, and a large vantage point.

Skuteri posjeduju adekvatne certifikate i homologacije, a pokreću ih potpuno bešumni električni motori. Ovi skuteri su u prednosti nad konvencionalnim jer konvencionalni skuter zapremine 50 ccm, od aprila do novembra potroši više od 750 KM benzina, dok električni skuter potroši svega 15 KM struje. Kada se baterija isprazni, moguće ju je napuniti na običnoj gradskoj mreži. Održavanje skutera je jednostavno, a garancija vrijedi sedam godina ili 25.000 pređenih kilometara. Skutere je dozvoljeno voziti uz posjedovanje vozačke dozvole B kategorije.

The scooters have all the necessary certificates and homologations, and they are powered by completely silent electric motors. These scooters have an advantage over conventional scooters with a 50 ccm volume, which use up over BAM 750 worth of fuel from April to November, while an electric scooter uses just BAM 15 worth of electricity. When the battery runs out, it is possible charge it at regular power outlets. The maintenance of the scooters is simple, and they have a warranty for seven years or 25000 traveled kilometers. The scooters may be driven with a valid B category driver’s license.

PINO NATURE HOTEL DOBITNIK NAGRADE KONGRESNA ZVIJEZDA Pino Nature Hotel na Trebeviću dobio je još jednu nagradu. Proglašen je jednim od najboljih hotela u 2018. godini na polju kongresnog turizma u konkurenciji od 384 hotela i 29 kongresnih centara u Evropi. Ovaj certifikatu koji dodijeljuje kompanija Toleranca iz Slovenije dokazuje usklađenost kongresnih kapaciteta i usluga s ocjenama i sistemom certifikacije Meetings Star. Ona provjerava više od 490 kriterija procjene koji su ključni za zadovoljstvo planera sastanaka. PINO NATURE HOTEL WINS THE CONGRESS STAR AWARD Pino Nature Hotel at Trebević has won another award. It was declared one of the best hotels in 2018 in the field of congress tourism; it competed with 384 hotels and 29 congress centers in Europe. This certificate, which is awarded by company Tolerance from Slovenia, proves the compatibility of the congress capacity and services with the ratings and Meetings Star system of certification. 453rd Jumps from the Old Bridge

TRADITION CONTINUES On Sunday, July 27, Mostar will be the center of activity. That day, the 453rd traditional jumps from the Old Bridge will be held. This sporting and tourism event in Mostar is one of the most well-known events of this nature in the region and is of great significance for B&H. The jumpers symbolize courage, boldness and a healthy lifestyle. The green Neretva, the largest river in Herzegovina, symbolizes the cleanliness of nature, while the Old Bridge speaks of the history, architecture and people of this region. This event is always followed by numerous tourists from B&H and the region.

USPOMENE IZ SARAJEVA su mi sve dragocjenije FRONTMEN GRUPE ZABRANJENO PUŠENJE GOVORIO NAM JE O POSLJEDNJEM ALBUMU, SVOJOJ VEZI SA SARAJEVOM I SARAJEVSKOM RAJOM, VOLJENOM ŽELJI... Razgovarala: Samila Ivković

avor Sučić poznatiji kao Sejo Sexon, sarajevski je muzičar i frontmen grupe Zabranjeno Pušenje. Entuzijazam, dobra zabava, vrhunski muzičari i pjesme koje, svaka za sebe, pričaju priču, ono su što ovu grupu skoro četiri decenije, čini drugačijom. Omiljena sarajevska grupa je nakon pet godina diskografske pauze, snimila album Šok i nevjerica, a Sejo nam je ispričao kako je nakon 10 albuma iza sebe donijeti osvježenje za svoju publiku. - Jako je teško donijeti osvježenje na scenu. To je kao kada se pojavi neki novi lik na roštilju, priča nove viceve i silno je smiješan, a ostali uživaju u njegovoj prisutnosti, duhu i šalama. Međutim, kada se ti roštilji počnu ponavljati 20, 30 godina, onda taj lik s vremenom postaje manje interesantan, a na taj teferič dolaze novi, zanimljiviji likovi. Tako je i s muzičarima. Nakon toliko godina teško je biti jednako zabavan. Svi kažu evo ih opet s istim vicevima, što su dosadni..., a to je sudbina svih dugovječnih bendova. To nam je

ujedno i veliki motiv, nešto što nam diže adrenalin i budi borbenost. Sve u svemu, zadovoljan sam našim posljednjim albumom i reakcijama publike. I kroz novi album provlačite našu realnost, ali uvijek s nekom dozom humora. Koliko Vam je važno osim publike, kroz posao zabaviti i sebe? - Posljednje medicinske studije pokazuju ljekovitost smijeha. Dokazano je da su osobe koje imaju pozitivan odnos prema životu zdravije, pa čak i duže žive. Ja sam se jednostavno rodio takav i Božji dar mi je da sve posmatram s neke smiješne strane. Tako i komponujem, kreiram, pišem... Oni koji se rode mračni i pesimistični, njih će teško iz tog stanja izvući i Nadrealisti i Zabranjeno pušenje... Album ste predstavili i u Sarajevu, i to besplatnim koncertom u Skenderiji. Šta za Vas znači pokloniti koncert sarajevskoj raji? - Uvijek je davanje za čovjeka veća

sreća nego uzimanje. Nama je taj koncert ispunio srca jer dugujemo tim ljudima koji su dio naše kreacije. Kada pogledate dolje u publiku i vidite nekoliko ljudi čije su priče završile u vašim tekstovima, čiji su životi i događaji postali dio vaše umjetnosti, morate im biti zahvalni. Većinu priča iz naših pjesama nismo mi doživjeli, već sarajevska raja. Iako živite u Zagrebu, ovdje živi dio Vaše porodice, brojni prijatelji, a i Vi ste dugo godina proveli tu. Kakva je danas veza Sarajevo-Sejo? - Danas su mi ti trenuci i uspomene iz Sarajeva sve dragocjenije. Tako sada i svoje vrijeme cijenim više i pokušavam ga provesti što kvalitetnije. Prije sam imao vremena za razne budale i ublehe, dok danas pokušavam da se fokusiram na ljude iz mog djetinjstva i perioda života kada sam imao pet banki u

džepu i bio čovjek koji nije ništa značio u medijskom i poslovnom svijetu. Najdragocjeniji su mi ljudi koji su tada za mene imali ljubavi, vremena i razumijevanja. Iako su nekada pripadali jednoj državi, vjerujem da se bez obzira na to, život u Sarajevu razlikuje od onog u Zagrebu. Koja je glavna razlika? - Mi smo dva grada u kojem ljudi jako slično žive, govore, imaju slične navike i temperament. Mislim da je glavnu razliku donijela činjenica da je prije 500 godina Zagreb bio pod utjecajem Austrije, a Sarajevo pod utjecajem Turaka. To su dva različita pristupa životu, koji ni danas nisu potpuno izblijedili. U Zagrebu život mnogo više liči onom na Zapadu, ljudi nemaju vremena jedni za druge, ali se zato mnogo više posvećuju profesionalnom dijelu životu. U Sarajevu je sve to dosta opuštenije, tamo se mnogo lakše opraštaju greške i ima više solidarnosti. Grupa Zabranjeno pušenje nikada 18

nije odbijala nastupe, prihvatali ste sva mjesta i sve ljude. Postoji li neko mjesto na kojem ste nastupali, a koje biste posebno okarakterisali kao egzotično?

Pokušavam da se fokusiram na ljude iz mog djetinjstva i perioda života kada sam imao pet banki u džepu i bio čovjek koji nije ništa značio u medijskom i poslovnom svijetu. Najdragocjeniji su mi ljudi koji su tada za mene imali ljubavi, vremena i razumijevanja - Kada svirate po Balkanu, većina mjesta su egzotična (smijeh). Nailazite na razne improvizacije, ali i pristupe koji su često vrlo egzotični. Vjerovatno najegzotičnije mjesto

na kojem smo radili je Kapadokija u Turskoj. To je jedan prostor koji zaista izgleda potpuno nezemaljski, mjesto gdje se zapitate na kojoj ste planeti. Skoro četiri decenije rada na sceni su iza vas. Da možete sve ispočetka, da li biste promijenili nešto vezano za Zabranjeno pušenje? - Da mogu, promijenio bih ime. Pokušao bih smisliti neko malo ozbiljnije, u smislu Crna materija, Vječiti paradoks... Ovo ime je bio privremeno - za jedan nastup, a na kraju je ostalo za vijeke vjekova. Osim sa Zabranjenim pušenjem, ostavili ste veliki trag i s Top-listom nadrealista. Kako s ove distance gledate na taj period? - To je jedna vrlo interesantna ekipa. Iako bez posebnog plana, Nadrealisti su uvijek svježi, uvijek odreaguju na najaktuelnije stvari i upravo zbog toga što su scenarije radili u posljednji čas i što su snimanja bila

haotična. Niko na svijetu ne radi humor na taj način, zato su imali jedinstven efekat na ljude i postali nezaboravan dio naše TV tradicije. Iskustvo je to koje se pamti za cijeli život. Kako je jednom muzičaru balansirati između poslovnog i privatnog života? - S godinama sve to ide dosta lakše. Naučite da kažete ne, nemam vremena, a i žena i djeca vas upozoravaju na to. Dok pričaš na telefon oni kolutaju očima i pokazuju znakove da to trebate odbiti. Nekada su porodična i komšijska druženja bila nešto sveto. No, u brzom načinu života koji vodimo, to je izgubilo svoju draž. Imate li vi neke rituale i običaje koje ste sačuvali? - Imam ritual na Koševu sa svojom ekipicom iz osnovne škole. Moj drug Špiro ima jedno mjesto za roštiljanje, s onim Das Ist Walter pogledom na grad. Svaki put kad sam u Sarajevu, pokušavam bar nekoliko sati provesti tu. Jedan drugom pokušavamo osvježiti pamćenje i prisjetiti se situacija koje bismo sigurno zaboravili da nemamo tih naših brifinga. Pomalo počinjem zaboravljati stvari i ti su mi momenti dragocjeni kako bih malo napravio backup svoje memorije. Kada nemate poslovnih obaveza, u čemu pronalazite najveći užitak? - Pokušavam da svake godine odem na skijanje, a redovno igram fudbala s rajom. Danas sve više visim pred golom i glumim centarfora, a sve manje trčim da sačuvam ruke i noge, da moj primarni posao ne bi trpio. Nekada ste bili vjerni navijač FK Željezničara. Kakav danas odnos imate prema fudbalu, pratite li Želju? - Za Želju se ne navija, Željo se živi. Ovom spasonosnom izrekom se često vadim kod raje kada me pitaju što me nema na utakmicama, što češće ne dolazim. Vikendi su vrijeme kada i Željo i ja, nažalost, radimo. 19

avor Sučić, better known as Sejo Sexon, is a musician and lead singer of the band Zabranjeno Pušenje from Sarajevo. Enthusiasm, good fun, top musicians and songs, each of which tell a story of their own, are what make this band different for almost four decades. This favorite band from Sarajevo has recorded an album titled Šok i Nevjerica (Shock and Disbelief) after a five-year break, and Sejo told us what it was like to bring some fresh material to their audience after 10 albums. - It’s very hard to bring something fresh to the scene. It’s like having a new guy come to a barbecue, who tells new jokes and who’s really funny, and everyone enjoys his presence, spirit and jokes. However, when these barbecues are repeated for 20, 30 years, then that guy becomes less interesting over time, and new, more interesting guys come to that party. That’s also how it is with musicians. After that many years, it’s hard to be equally entertaining. Everyone says Here they are with the same jokes, they’re so boring..., and that is the fate of all long-lived bands. That also makes us very motivated, it’s something that gets our adrenaline pumping and awakens our fighting spirit. All in all, I’m happy with our last album and the reaction of the audience. Once again, you have brought some of our reality into your new album, but always with a dose of humor. How important is it to you to not just entertain your audience, but yourself as well? - The latest medical studies show the healing powers of laughter. It has been proven that the people who have a positive attitude towards life are healthier, and may even live longer. I was just born that way and it’s a gift from God that I see everything from the funny side. That’s how I compose, create, write... With those who are born dark and pessimistic, even Nadrealisti and Zabranjeno Pušenje would have a hard time getting

What does it mean to you to donate a concert for people in Sarajevo? - It always brings more happiness for a person to give than to take. That concert fulfilled our hearts, as we owe those people who are a part of our creation. When you look

Even though you live in Zagreb, this is where a part of your family and numerous friends live, and you also spent many years here. What is the

Apart from with Zabranjeno Pušenje, you also left a great trace with Top-lista Nadrealista. How do you view that period from a distance?

Those are two different approaches to life, which haven’t completely faded to this day. In Zagreb, life is a lot like the one in the West, people don’t have time for each other, but they are a lot more dedicated to the professional side of life. Everything is a lot more relaxed in Sarajevo, mistakes are more easily forgiven, and there’s a lot more solidarity.

- That is a very interesting crew. Even though there was no specific plan, Nadrealisti would always react to the most current events, because

Do you have any rituals and customs that you have stuck with? - I have a ritual at Koševo with my crew from primary school. My friend Špiro has a barbecue spot, with that Das Ist Walter view of the city. Each time I’m in Sarajevo, I try to spend several hours there. We try to refresh each other’s mind and remember the situations that we’d surely have forgotten about had it not been for these briefings. I’m slowly starting to forget things and those moments are precious in order to make a bit of a backup of my memory.

The band Zabranjeno Pušenje never turned down performances, you said yes to everywhere and everyone. Is there a place where you have performed, which you would characterize as exotic? - When you play in the Balkans, most places are exotic (laughter). You come across various improvisations, and approaches which are often very exotic. Probably the most exotic place we’ve worked in is Cappadocia in Turkey. That is an area that really looks completely unearthly, a place where you wonder which planet you’re on. You have been on the scene for four decades. If you could start over, would you change anything when it comes to Zabranjeno Pušenje? - If I could, I’d change the name. I’d try to come up with something a little more serious, along the lines of Black Matter, Eternal Paradox... This name was supposed to be temporary – for one performance, and in the end, it stayed forever and ever.

When you do not have business commitments, what is your favorite activity?

Today, I spend a lot of the time in front of the goal and pretend to be the center-forward, and I run less to preserve my arms and legs, so that my day job wouldn’t suffer. You used to be an avid supporter of Football Club Željezničar. What is your relationship with football like today, do you follow Željo? - You don’t support Željo, you live for Željo. I often use this lifesaving statement with friends, when they ask me why I’m not at the games, why I don’t come more often. Weekends are unfortunately a time when both Željo and I are at work.

akmičari Specijalne olimpijade BiH osvojili su tri zlatne, dvije srebrene, pet bronzanih medalja takmičeći se u atletici, stonom tenisu, ženskom fudbalu i skoku u dalj. Na Svjetskim igrama Specijalne olimpijade u Abu Dabiju (Ujedinjeni Arapski Emirati), gdje je učestvovalo više od 7.000 takmičara iz oko 190 država, predstavnici Specijalne olimpijade u BiH osvojili su deset medalja u četiri sporta. Zlatom su se okitili Hasan Sejdinović na 200 metara u trčanju, Snežana Džida u disciplini atletika 400 m i Inkluzivna nogometna reprezentacija BiH. Srebrene medalje su osvojili stonoteniseri Irfan Kulić i Milada Elez, a bronzane Hiba Sultanović – atletika 200 m, Njegoš Mihajlović – atletika 400 m, Snežana Džida atletika skok u dalj, Ena Čatović – plivanje 25 m prsno i Milada Elez – stoni tenis. Direktorica Specijalne olimpijade BiH Kada Delić naglasila je da je 24

ovo bilo najuspješnije takmičenje za sportiste s invaliditetom iz BiH. - Deset osvojenih medalja pokazatelj je velikog rada i zalaganja, kako sportista, tako i trenera i svih drugih uključenih u ovaj projekt - rekla je Delić i posebno istakla ocjenu da je u proteklih deset godina najveći napredak u regionu ostvarila upravo Specijalna olimpijada u BiH, kao i da je program inkluzije koji se provodi u osnovnim i srednjim školama u BiH prepoznat kao dobar model i u drugim državama. Osim takmičarskog dijela, u sklopu igara organizovan je Globalni samit mladih lidera i Familijarnog programa na kojem su učesnici izlagali svoje projekte, ideje i vizije. Domaćini jedne od najuspješnijih i najbolje organiziranih specijalnih olimpijada u Ujedinjenim Arapskim Emiratima najavili su osnivanje novih fondacija čiji cilj će biti promocija sporta namijenjenog osobama s invaliditetom.

he competitors at the Special Olympics World Games won three gold, two silver, and five bronze medals by competing in athletics, table tennis, women’s football and long jump. At the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), where over 7000 competitors from 190 countries participated, the B&H representatives of the Special Olympics won ten medals for four sports. The gold medals went to: Hasan Sejdinović for the 200-meter sprint, Snežana Džida for the 400 m athletics, and the B&H Inclusive Football Team. The silver medals were won by ta-

ŠARENA DŽAMIJA

Obnovljeni travnički

Sredinom prošlog mjeseca, jedan od najvažnijih travničkih simbola, Šarena džamija ili Sulejmanija, otvorila je vrata nakon završene dvogodišnje restauracije koju je finansirala Direkcija vakufa Republike Turske. Šarena džamija koja je sa svojim jedinstvenim i originalnim stilom oduvijek izazivala divljenje i vjekovima predstavljala posebnu i nezaobilaznu turističku atrakciju, oslikana je neobičnim ornamentima rascvjetalog drveća, vinove loze i jablanova, a krase je i kaligrafski detalji na arapskom jeziku. Ovaj Nacionalni spomenik Bosne i Hercegovine, od 1757. godine zvali su i Ćamilija po svom obnovitelju Ćamil Ahmed-paši, a od 1815. godine nosi naziv Šarena džamija po Sulejman-paši Skopljaku koji ju je obnovio na zgarištu stare džamije. Jedinstvena je i po tome što se munara ove džamije nalazi s lijeve strane, a ne s desne, i jedina je u Bosni i Hercegovini kao takva. Historičari 26

to pravdaju nestabilnim tlom zbog potoka koji se na tom mjestu slijevaju prema rije Lašvi. Zanimljiva je i nepotvrđena činjenica da munara navodno porijeklo vodi još od stare džamije Ćamilije, a ovu džamiju je neobjašnjivo zaobišao katastrofalni travnički požar koji se dogodio 1903. godine. Restauracijom i rekonstrukcijom Šarene džamije obuhvaćena je obnova munare, sanacija i ojačavanje temelja džamije, sanacija korita potoka, unutrašnji radovi u objektu džamije i bezistanu, unutrašnje i vanjsko oslikavanje, zamjena kompletne stolarije, te uređenje dvorišta. U prizemlju džamije se nalazi bezistan koji je vraćen u prvobitno stanje, umjesto jednog velikog poslovnog prostora sada je više zasebnih dućana baš kao i prije nekoliko stotina godina. Džamija je zasijala u punom svjetlu i sigurno je da će nakon svoje obnove privući još više turista.

COLORFUL MOSQUE

of Travnik Mid-last month, one of the most significant symbols of Travnik, Šarena Džamija or Sulejmanija, opened its doors after its ten-year restoration was completed. The restoration was financed by the Waqf Head Office of the Republic of Turkey. Šarena Džamija, with its unique and original style has always been admired, and it has represented a special and unavoidable tourist attraction for centuries, painted in unusual ornaments of blooming trees, grapevines and poplar trees, and it is also decorated with calligraphic details in Arabic.

Historians claim that this is because of the unstable ground, due to the streams which flow into the Lašva River. It is also interesting to note that supposedly the minaret dates back to the old Ćamilija Mosque, and this mosque somehow avoided getting burnt in the catastrophic fire of Travnik, which happened in 1903. The restoration and reconstruction of Šarena Džamija consisted of the restoration of the minaret, the fixing and strengthening of the foundations of the mosque, the maintenance of

the stream bed, interior works within the mosque and bezistan, interior and exterior decorative painting, the complete replacement of joinery, and the maintenance of the courtyard. On the ground floor of the mosque, there is a bezistan which was restored to its original state, so instead of one large business space there are now more separate shops, just like hundreds of years ago. The mosque is now shining in all its glory and is sure to attract more tourists after its restoration.

This National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina was also called Ćamilija since 1757, after Ćamil Ahmed Pasha, who ordered its restoration, and since 1815, it has been called Šarena Džamija after Suleiman Pasha Skopljak, who ordered for its restoration to take place at the site of the old mosque. Another thing that makes this mosque unique is that its minaret is located on the left, rather than right side; this is the only mosque like that in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

BOGATA ZBIRKA ikona i umjetnina Manastir Žitomislić kod Mostara je jedan od kulturno najznačajnijih pravoslavnih manastira Hercegovine iz 16. vijeka, a posvećen je Blagovještenju Presvete Bogorodice. U pisanim izvorima Manastir Žitomislići prvi put se spominje u otomanskim popisnim defterima za Bosanski, 1468/1469. godine, i Hercegovački sandžak, 1477. godine. U kompleksu ovog manastira koji je 2002. godine proglašen Nacionalnim spomenikom BiH, nedavno je otvoren muzej s bogatom zbirkom 28

ikona i umjetnina koja je među tri najveće u BiH, čime je, nakon 27 godina, vraćena bogata riznica u ovu svetinju. Od eksponata su najvrjedniji ikona Bogorodice i knjiga iz 14. vijeka, a zbirka ikona jedna je od najvrjednijih u Bosni i Hercegovini. U postavci koju je radila dr Ljiljana Ševo, nalazi se pedesetak ikona iz perioda od 16. do 18. vijeka; djela srpskih, italo-kritskih i ruskih autora. Među srpskim ikonama najznačajni-

je su Žitomislićke dveri, koje se pripisuju ikonopiscu, majstoru Radulu i one na ikonostasu, djelo Georgija Mitrofanovića. Jedna od važnih je i ikona Bogorodice iz italo-kritske grupe, koju je slikao Andrej Ricos i jedna je od četiri takve u svijetu. Ikone su restaurirane i vraćene u Eparhiju. Osim ikona, manastir posjeduje i šest jako vrijednih knjiga, od kojih su pet rukopisi, a najstarija datira iz 14. vijeka. U muzeju je postavljena i zbirka srebrenih predmeta za crkvenu upotrebu, uglavnom iz 17. vijeka.

MUSEUM OF THE ŽITOMISLIĆ MONASTERY

A RICH COLLECTION of Icons and Artworks The Žitomislić Monastery near Mostar is, culturally speaking, one of the most significant Orthodox monasteries of Herzegovina from the 16th century, and it is dedicated to the Annunciation. In written records, Žitomislići Monastery was first mentioned in Ottoman defters for Bosanski in 1468/1469, and for Herzegovinian Sanjak in 1477. In the complex of this monastery, which was declared a National Monument of B&H in 2002, a museum was recently opened with a rich collection of icons and artworks; this collection is among the three largest ones in B&H, which means

that after 27 years, the treasure was returned to this sanctity. The most valuable exhibit is the icon of the Virgin Mary and the book from the 14th century, and the collection of icons is one of the most valuable ones in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The exhibition, which was organized by Dr Ljiljana Ševo, has around 50 icons from the period between the 16th to 18th century; they are the works of Serb, Italian-Cretan and Russian authors. Among the Serb icons, the most significant ones are the Žitomislićke Dveri, which are attributed to the

master iconographer Radul and the ones on the iconostasis, the work of Georgije Mitrofanović. One other significant one is the icon of the Virgin Mary from the Italian-Cretan group, which was painted by Andrej Ricos, and it is one of only four such icons in the world. The icons were restored and returned to the Diocese. Apart from icons, the monastery has six very valuable books, five of which are manuscripts, and the oldest one dates back to the 14th century. The museum also has a collection of silver items for use in the church, mostly from the 17th century. 29

Ova mlada žena bavi se istraživanjem tržišta i poslovnim savjetovanjem, a također vodi i Business café, događaj koji već pet godina priča najbolje poslovne priče iz BiH i dokazuje da se uspjeh može postići bez obzira na sve. Od činjenice da je uspješna poslovna žena, Amru ponosnijom čini to što je supruga i majka troje djece. Kako je započeo Vaš poslovni put? - Kada malo razmislim, nisam sigurna šta je zapravo početak mog poslovnog puta. Već kao srednjoškolka sam zarađivala ozbiljan novac, ne džeparac. Već tada sam imala plaću. Kada ste sa 17-18 godina finansijski neovisni od svoje porodice, to vam daje osjećaj slobode koji želite zauvijek zadržati. Čim se ukazalo prvo zaposlenje

unutar neke kompanije, brzo sam shvatila da mi korporativne stege nikako ne odgovaraju, te da mi treba onaj osjećaj koji sam imala kao tinejdžer. Tako dolazim do želje da pokrenem svoj biznis, a tragajući na internetu, naišla sam na pojam Mystery Shopping i tu počinje moje putovanje u poslovni svijet. Spomenuli ste pojam Mystery Shopping. Kako ovaj alat može unaprijediti poslovanje? - Mystery Shopping može unaprijediti poslovanje na više nivoa. Naime, svaka kompanija ima svoje kupce, a svaki od njih može biti i tajni kupac. Poslovni prodajni proces može se mjeriti ovom metodom, te na koncu i unaprijediti. Nama nije cilj nikoga špijunirati, mi smo alat u rukama kompanija putem koje oni stječu stvarnu sliku stanja na terenu i saznaju da li se njihove strategije doista implementiraju. Kako ste došli tamo gdje ste danas i što vam je pomoglo na tom putu?

- Istrajnost, odgovornost, čestitost. Istrajnost mi je pomogla da ne odustanem bez obzira na neprilike koje samo tržište često servira. Odgovornost da svojim klijentima bez ikakvog kompromisa ponudim samo najbolje. Čestitost da moje kolege znaju da nisu nikada posljednji na listi, već da se svačija individua i potrebe jednako poštuju kao i moje. Vaša agencija već tradicionalno organizira Business café, poslovni događaj koji slavi pozitivnu poduzetničku klimu i predstavlja poslovne ljude naše zemlje. Jeste li kroz ove godine uspjeli otkriti tajnu za uspjeh u BiH? - Jako se ponosimo tim projektom koji je na neki način društveno korisni event. Ovaj događaj održava se širom regije i opstaje već punih 5 godina. Dosta sličnih događaju se počelo pojavljivati u našoj zemlji, što je dobro. Njegovanjem poduzetničke kulture možemo se nadati unaprjeđenju ekonomskog stanja države. 31

Brojni su govornici prošli kroz Business café, pokrili smo različite industrije. Neki govornici su visoko obrazovani, drugi su krenuli bez znanja i obrazovanja, a opet postigli uspjeh. Slobodno mogu potvrditi da im je ustrajnost zajednička karakteristika, nepokolebljivost i nedostatak vremena za traženje isprika. Oni jednostavno punim svojim bićem žive svoja uvjerenja i stavove.

Ako jutro započinjete u haosu, nekvalitetnom obroku, nemate vremena da u miru razmišljate i planirate dan, jer paralelno doručkujete, pišete mailove, odgovarate na poruke koje stižu sa socijalnih mreža, mislim da se već dobro iscrpite. Ne želim da mi poruka, status na soci-

Na koji način odgajate svoju djecu, koje vrijednosti nastojite usaditi u njih i šta mislite da obavezno jednog dana moraju ponijeti iz kuće?

Kako rješavate velike probleme kao poduzetnik, kako se motivirati i ostati motivirani?

Trebalo mi je neko vrijeme da osvijestim, da ne postoje savršene porodice, već sretne porodice. Tako da sam sva nesavršenstva odbacila kao takva, prihvatila ih kao naša obilježja, a sve divne pozitivne stvari kojih ima mnogo, stavila u fokus svoje zahvalnosti. Čvrstog sam stava da će djeca ponijeti samo ono što su primjerom svojih roditelja svjedočila, a ne ono što su slušala od roditelja.

- Posljednjih godina baš mi je Business café pomogao da dio energije naših govornika prenesem i na sebe. Vremenom osvijestite da vas u biti niko drugi ne može motivirati osim sami sebe, te ako ste u kompaniji znate da se morate jedni na druge osloniti i gurati dalje. Što mislite da čini uspješnog poslovnog čovjeka, a posebno poslovnu ženu? - Najradije bih rekla da razlike nema, no svi znamo da to nije istina. Uspješan čovjek u našoj zemlji je vilenjak, a uspješna žena čarobnica. Doista se moraju činiti nadnaravnim da bi stvorili velike uspjehe, pogotovo ako im je posao vezan isključivo za tržište BiH. U ovu kategoriju spadaju istinski uspješni ljudi, pod ovim ne podrazumijevam raznorazne kompanije koje putem stranačkih tendera ostvaruju velike rezultate. Slijedite li određenu jutarnju rutinu ili dnevni raspored kako biste povećali produktivnost u poslu? - Moram priznati da sam to počela od skora da činim, prije svega kako bih unaprijedila vlastiti kvalitet života, a zatim i produktivnost. Jako mi je važno da ne pogledam u mobitel, kompjuter ili bilo šta slično prije nego sam na miru doručkovala i u miru popila jutarnju kafu. Potrebno mi je da u miru budem sama u jutarnjim satima. Tek nakon toga slijedi pregledavanje mailova i implementacija planova. 32

- Da, troje djece koja trenutno nemaju niti jednu zajedničku sferu interesovanja. Jer imaju 15, 11 i 3 godine. Trudim se da mi mantra bude ona iz prethodnog pitanja. Sama sebi je ponavljam skoro svaki dan. Važno je biti u miru sa sobom i sa svojom porodicom, tada se sve posloži.

Njegovanjem poduzetničke kulture možemo se nadati unaprjeđenju ekonomskog stanja države jalnim mrežama i slično poremeti planiranje dana i moju vremensku tabelu za taj dan. Moji prijatelji su uglavnom navikli da ja ne odgovaram na poruke rano ujutro. Ako je zaista hitno, onda očekujem direktan poziv na koji ću se naravno javiti. Ako biste trebali dati jedan savjet za mladu poduzetnicu na početku karijere, koji bi to savjet bio? - Ja sam pametna, vrijedna, sposobna, vjerujem u svoj proizvod/uslugu. Spremna sam na padove. Spremna sam na letove. Ovo treba biti jedno divno putovanje koje će služiti mom životu, a ne ja njemu! Majka ste troje djece. Kako postići ravnotežu između posla i privatnog života?

Važno mi je da ponesu sa sobom zahvalnost prema svemu što je dobro i korisno, da zavole knjigu kao najboljeg druga, da imaju veliki fond ljubavi prema svim ljudima i bićima, da ne cjepidlače i ne traže greške u svemu što je oko njih. Jer na koncu to je recept za njihovu sreću. Zahvalnost, ljubav, obrazovanje i spremnost na divne izazove života. Koliko od poslovnih i privatnih obaveza uspijevate pronaći vremena za putovanja? Imate li već planove za ljeto? - Putovanja su dio nadahnuća čovjekove duše. Ona su obavezna ako se mogu priuštiti. Uživam u svakom putovanju i nekad se osjećam kao odbjegli buntovnik, pogotovo ako je putovanju prethodio stresan period. Kada je porodica u pitanju najviše uživamo u putovanjima koja su sadržajna. he owner and director of company Global Market Solutions, Amra Hašimbegović, has been doing her job successfully for over ten years. This young woman does market research and business consulting, and she also leads Business Café, an event that has been telling the best business stories from B&H for five years, proving that success can be achieved no matter what. The fact that she is a wife and mother of three children makes Amra prouder than the fact that she is a successful businesswoman. How did your business journey begin? - When I think about it, I’m not actually sure how my business journey began. As a high school student, I made serious money, not pocket money. Back then, I already had a salary. When you’re financially independent from your family at 17-18, it gives you a sense of freedom that you want to maintain forever. As soon as the first opportunity came to work in a company,

I quickly realized that corporate “chains” really don’t suit me, and that I need that feeling from when I was a teenager. That’s how I got the desire to start my own business, and while searching the internet, I came upon the term Mystery Shopping,

and this is where my journey into the business world began. You mentioned the term Mystery Shopping. How can this tool improve business? - Mystery Shopping can improve business on more levels. Namely, every company has its shoppers, and any one of them can be a secret shopper. The busi ness sales process can be measured with this method, and subsequently improved. Our goal is not to spy on anyone, we are a tool in the hands of companies, which helps them get a realistic picture of things and the knowledge of whether their strategies are really being implemented. How did you get to where you are today and what has helped you on that journey? - Perseverance, accountability, integrity. Perseverance helped me not give up, no matter the troubles that the market itself often serves. Accountability to offer only the best to my clients without any compro33

mise. Integrity so that my colleagues know that they are never last on the list, but that everyone’s individuality and needs are equally respected like my own. Your agency has now traditionally been organizing Business Café, a business event which celebrates a positive entrepreneurial climate and represents the businesspeople of our country. Throughout these years, have you managed to discover the secret to success in B&H? - I’m very proud of this project, which in some way is a socially useful event. This event is held across the region and has been surviving for a full 5 years. A lot of similar events have started happening in our country, which is good. By nurturing the entrepreneurial culture, we can hope to improve the economic situation in the country. Numerous speakers have taken part in the Business Café, we’ve covered various industries. Some speakers are highly educated, others started out without knowledge and education, and were still successful. I can freely confirm that perseverance is a common trait for them, as well as tenaciousness and a lack of time for looking for excuses. They simply “live” their beliefs and opinions, with their entire beings. How do you solve big problems as an entrepreneur, how does one get motivated and stay motivated? - In recent years, the Business Café helped me get some energy from the speakers. With time, you become aware of the fact that no one can motivate you but yourself, and if you are part of a company, you know that you have to rely on each other and keep pushing on. What do you think makes a successful businessman, and especially what makes a businesswoman? - I’d love to say that there is no difference, but we all know that this 34

is not true. A successful man in our country is a wizard, and a success woman is sorceress. They really have to seem supernatural in order to have great success, especially if their work is limited to the B&H market. Truly successful people fall into this category, and by that I don’t mean various companies that have great success as a result of political connections. Do you have a specific morning routine or daily schedule that helps you enhance productivity at work? - I have to admit that I have recently established one, mostly to improve my own quality of life, and then also my productivity. It’s very important to me not to look at my mobile phone, computer or anything like that before I’ve had my breakfast and morning coffee in peace. I need to be alone in peace in the morning hours. Only after that do I look at emails and plan implementations. If you start the morning in chaos, with a bad meal, you don’t have time to think and plan the day, as you are having breakfast, writing emails, answering messages on social networks at the same time, and I think you are already exhausted. I don’t want a message, a post on a

social network, or something similar to disrupt my plan and my schedule for that day. My friends are mostly used to the fact that I don’t respond to messages early in the morning. If it’s really urgent, then I expect a direct call, which I will of course answer. If you were to give one piece of advice to a young entrepreneur at the start of her career, what would it be? - I am smart, hard-working, capable, I believe in my product/services. I’m prepared to fail. I’m prepared to soar. This needs to be a wonderful journey, which will be of use to my life, rather than the other way around! You are a mother of three children. How do you achieve a balance between your work and private life? - Yes, three children, who currently have absolutely no common interests, as they are 15, 11 and 3. I try to stick to my mantra from the previous question. I repeat it to myself almost every day. It’s important to be at peace with yourself and your family, then everything is in place. How do you raise your children, which values do you try to instill in them and what do you think they must “bring” from home one day?

It took me some time to realize that there are no perfect families, just happy families. So, I threw away all imperfections as they are, accepted them as our features, and I took all the great positive things of which there are many, and made them the focus of my gratitude. I firmly believe that children will take only what they’ve witnessed from their parents, not what their parents talked to them about. It’s important to me that they take with them a gratitude for all good and useful things, to love books like best friends, to have a great love of all people and creatures, to not nitpick and look for mistakes in everything around them. Because in the end, that’s the recipe for their happiness. Gratitude, love, education and to be prepared for the wonderful challenges of life. How much are you able to find time for travel due to your work and private commitments? Have you already got plans for the summer? - Traveling is inspirational for a person’s soul. It is obligatory if it is affordable. I enjoy each trip and sometimes I feel like a runaway rebel, especially if there was a stressful period prior to the trip. When it comes to our family, we enjoy trips that are eventful. The locations and cities we should visit are my idea, while my husband is more dedicated to careful planning of the trip. I always fondly remember our campervan trip around the Salzburg region. That was a trip full of family team building and adrenaline. This summer, we are planning a road trip, most probably to the south of Italy. 35

emaljski muzej Bosne i Hercegovine nalazi se u Sarajevu i najstarija je muzejska institucija u BiH, osnovana 1. februara 1888. godine, za vrijeme Austro-Ugarske vladavine. Budući da je prostor u kome je Muzej bio prvobitno smješten postao skučen i nepogodan, 1908. godine se pristupilo izgradnji novog prostora. Jedan od najznačajnijih i najplodnijih arhitekata austrougarskog perioda Karlo Paržik, uradio je projekt za zgradu koja se sastoji od četiri zasebna paviljona, međusobno povezana terasama, s unutrašnjim atrijem gdje je smještena Botanička bašta. Ovo je prva zgrada muzeja u jugoistočnoj Evropi koja je namjenski građena za tu svrhu. Vanjština Muzeja 36

kao i prostor ispred oplemenjen stećcima, izaziva divljenje i poštovanje svih prolaznika na glavnoj saobraćajnici u centru grada.

BOGAT FUNDUS NASLIJEĐA Posjetite li Zemaljski muzej, imat ćete priliku da kroz brojne eksponate uplovite daleko u prošlost. Tokom 131. godinu postojanja, Muzej je uspio sakupiti bogat fundus kulturnog i nacionalnog naslijeđa zemlje i svih njenih naroda. Eksponati su razvrstani po odjeljenjima: Arheološko, Etnološko, Odjeljenje prirodnih nauka i Konzervacija, u nekoliko različitih zbirki.

Arheološke zbirke prate sve aspekte života čovjeka (naselja i nastambe, svakodnevni život, privreda, umjetnost, duhovnost, religija itd.), na prostorima Bosne i Hercegovine, od starijeg kamenog doba do kasnog srednjeg vijeka. Predmeti u zbirkama najvećim su dijelom prikupljeni terenskim istraživanjima, a u manjoj mjeri otkupom i poklonima. Pored muzeološke djelatnosti, stručnjaci se bave i naučno istraživačkim radom. Ako biste iz odškrinute riznice materijalnog i nematerijalnog kulturnog naslijeđa koje se čuva u Muzeju pokušali izdvojiti njene najsjajnije bisere, svakako ne biste mogli izo-

staviti primjerak pashalne hagade, jevrejskog iluminiranoga kodeksa, širom svijeta poznatog kao Sarajevska Hagada, koju su Sefardi donijeli u Sarajevo po svome izgonu iz Španije. U svijetu postoji nekoliko Hagada, a ono po čemu se naša ističe u odnosu na ostale su iznimno bogate ilustracije, te činjenica da njena priča počinje od postanka svijeta, dok u drugim Hagadama priča počinje izbavljenjem Jevreja iz Egipta. Sadržaj Sarajevske Hagade je ispisan na prerađenoj i istančanoj koži, u periodu kada se papir još uvijek nije masovno koristio. Ova izuzetna rukopisna knjiga broji ukupno 142 pergamentska lista, od kojih su neki ispisani krasnopisom, neki iluminirani, a neki, opet, potpuno prazni. Uvezani su u tabake od po osam ili dvanaest stranica.

Malo je poznata činjenica da Sarajevska Hagada sadrži i dodatak s pjesmama, koji ima veliku važnost za jevrejsku književnost općenito.

PREDSTAVLJAMO / INTRODUCING Po brojnosti svojih zbirki, najveće odjeljenje u okviru Zemaljskog muzeja je Odjeljenje prirodnih nauka koje čine Geološki odsjek, Zoološki odsjek i Botanički odsjek. Procijenjeno je da se ovdje nalazi oko 2 miliona primjeraka minerala, stijena, fosila, biljki, gljiva i životinja, većinom prikupljenih terenskim istraživanjima. Manjim dijelom, dobijeni su razmjenom, poklonima ili otkupom. U Muzeju je prije nekoliko godina formirano i Odjeljenje za konzervaciju koje se bavi restauracijom, konzervacijom i zaštitom kulturnog i prirodnog naslijeđa BiH. Primarna uloga Odjeljenja jeste rad na zaštiti predmeta iz zbirki Zemaljskog muzeja Bosne i Hercegovine.

OAZA MIRISA I LIJEPIH BOJA Nađete li se u Muzeju, nezaobilazan dio je i Biblioteka koja je organizovana kao specijalna naučna biblioteka, s oko 300 hiljada svezaka publikacija (knjiga, časopisa, novina). Građa koju posjeduje prikupljana je duže od 100 godina i odnosi se na oblasti arheologije, historije, etnologije, folkloristike, mineralogije, geologije, botanike, zoologije i muzeologije. Kada završite s obilaskom svih odjeljenja i Biblioteke, odmoriti se možete u centralnom dijelu Muzeja.

KORISNE INFORMACIJE Sve izložene zbirke mogu se pogledati od utorka do petka u periodu od 10–19 h, a vikendom od 10–14 h. Hagada se može vidjeti utorkom, četvrtkom i prvom subotom u mjesecu u periodu od 12-13h, dok je Biblioteka otvorena radnim danima od 11–14h. Pojedinačne i grupne posjete uz vodstvo kustosa poželjno je najaviti najmanje tri dana unaprijed. 38

Odjeljenje ima jednu stalnu izložbenu postavku koja donosi uvid u stambenu kulturu i uopće kulturu življenja bogatog gradskog stanovništva.

Između četiri zgrade smješten je dio koji će vas naprosto oduševiti, a posebno je lijep na proljeće kada oživi priroda pretvarajući ga u oazu mirisa i lijepih boja. Botanički vrt sa svojim živim zbirkama predstavlja jedini spomenik ove vrste u Sarajevu. Osnovan je 1913. godine, a njegov osnivač jeste Karlo Maly, istaknuti botaničar. Botanički vrt posjeduje veoma vrijedan herbarij, te je dom mnogim rijetkim, endemskim i egzotičnim vrstama flore.

Ovdje ćete vidjeti scene iz života, postavljene u šest autentičnih soba koje potječu s kraja 18. i početka 19. vijeka. Na ovom odjeljenju se svake godine nudi i nekoliko drugih tematskih izložbi.

he National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina is located in Sarajevo, and it is the oldest museum in B&H, founded on February 1, 1888, during Austro-Hungarian rule. Once the space where the Museum was initially situated had become cramped and unsuitable, the construction of a new structure began in 1908. One of the most significant and prolific

architects of the Austro-Hungarian period, Karel Parik, designed the building, which consists of four separate pavilions, interconnected by terraces, with an interior atrium, where the Botanical Garden is situated. This is the first museum building in Southeast Europe which was built for that specific purpose. The exterior of the Museum, as well as the space in front of it, which was

enriched by steÄ&#x2021;ci (medieval tombstones), leaves all passers-by on the main road in the city center in awe and admiration.

A RICH HERITAGE COLLECTION If you visit the National Museum, you will have the opportunity to sail through the past through numerous 39

exhibits. During its 131 years of existence, the Museum has managed to obtain a rich cultural and national heritage collection of the country and all its peoples. The exhibits are sorted by departments: the Archaeology Department, the Ethnology Department, the Department of Natural Sciences and the Conservation Department, in several different collections. The archaeological collections follow all aspects of human life (settlements and dwellings, everyday life, economy, art, spirituality, religion etc.), in Bosnia and Her-

zegovina, from early Stone Age to the late Middle Ages. The collection items were mostly obtained through field work, and to a lesser extent through purchases and donations. Apart from museum activities, the experts here also do scientific research work. If you were to try and single out the shiniest pearls from the treasury of material and immaterial cultural heritage that is kept at the Museum, you could not leave out the copy of the Passover Haggadah, the Jewish illuminated manuscript, known

across the world as the Sarajevan Haggadah, which Sephardi Jews brought to Sarajevo once they were exiled from Spain. There are several Haggadahs across the world, and this one stands out due to its very rich illustrations, and the fact that its story begins from the creation of the world, while in the other Haggadahs the story begins with the salvation of Jews from Egypt. The Sarajevan Haggadah was handwritten in Hebrew calligraphy on bleached calfskin, during a time when paper was still not in great use. This exceptional manuscript has a total of 142 parchment sheets, some of which are handwritten in calligraphy, some of which are illuminated, and some are completely empty. They were bound into parchments of eight and twelve pages. A little-known fact is that the Sarajevan Haggadah also has an appendix with songs, which is of great significance for Jewish literature in general.

AUTHENTIC ROOMS The Ethnology Department collects, keeps, exhibits and studies all segments of material, spiritual and social culture of the peoples of B&H. It has a rich collection of museum material, which is stored and thematically classified into collections. The department has one permanent 40

300 thousand volumes of publications (books, magazines, newspapers). This material was collected for over 100 years and relates to the fields of archaeology, history, ethnology, folklore, mineralogy, geology, botany, zoology and museology.

exhibition, which provides an insight into the residential culture and general culture of living of the wealthy urban population. Here, you will see scenes from everyday life, exhibited in six authentic rooms, which originate from the end of the 18th and the beginning of the 19th century. This department also offers several other thematic exhibitions each year. When it comes to the number of collections, the largest department within the National Museum is the Department of Natural Sciences, which is made up of the Geology Department, Zoology Department and Botanical Department. It is estimated that there are around 2 million samples of minerals, rocks, fossils, plants, fungi and animals, collected mostly through field work. To a lesser extent, some were obtained through exchange, donations or through purchase. Several years ago, the Conservation Department was formed at the Museum, and it deals with the restoration, conservation and protection of the cultural and natural heritage of B&H. The primary role of the Department is the protection of items from

When you have seen all of the departments and the Library, you can have a rest in the central part of the Museum. Between the four buildings, there is a part that will simply thrill you, and it is especially pretty in spring when nature comes to life, turning it into an oasis of fragrances and pretty colors. The botanical garden, with its living collections, represents the only monument of this type in Sarajevo. It was founded in 1913, by Karlo Maly, a prominent botanist. The botanical garden has a very valuable herbarium, and it is home to many rare, endemic and exotic types of flora. A lot more could be written about what the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina has to offer, but in order to experience the magnitude and significance of this institution, and see the treasures it keeps, we recommend visiting the Museum.

USEFUL INFORMATION All of the exhibited collections can be seen Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends. The Haggadah can be viewed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and the first Saturday of the month from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., while the Library is open on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Individual and group visits with a curator should be arranged at least three days in advance. 41

U gradu u kojem se spajaju kulture Istoka i Zapada sve ima svoju draž, pa tako i sveti mjesec Ramazan tokom kojeg se muslimani od izlaska do zalaska Sunca odriču svih jela, pića i drugih tjelesnih potreba. To je mjesec blagodati, božje milosti, oprosta, zaštite i svjetlosti koja se širi kroz duše vjernika. U domove vjernika ulazi posebna radost, a grad miriše na najukusnija bosanska jela. I sarajevske pekare, posebno one na Baščaršiji, Alifakovcu i Bistriku, mirisom somuna upotpunjuju ramazansku idilu. Ljepota je to kakva se ne može u potpunosti doživjeti na drugim mjestima. 42

RAMAZANSKI TOP Prava atrakcija tokom Ramazana je Žuta tabija na koju Sarajlije, ali i brojni turisti odlaze kako bi uživali u ramazanskim blagodatima, ali i u očaravajućem pogledu na grad. Tabija se nalazi na litici Jekovac, zbog čega je poznata i kao Jekovačka tabija i jedna je od utvrda koje su činile obrambeni bedem oko starog grada Vratnika. Sagrađena je od grubo tesanog kamena, sa sedam vanjskih strana visokih 10 metara, dok je osma, okrenuta prema sjeveru, visoka 27,5 metara. Na sjevernoj strani nalaze se stepenice i jedan

objekat za vojnike, a na jugozapadnoj muslimansko groblje. Iako je posjećena tokom cijele godine, za vrijeme Ramazana je to najpopularnija tačka Sarajeva. Upravo s ovog mjesta se još u Osmanskom carstvu počelo s ispaljivanjem topa, kao znaka za kraj posta u akšamsko vrijeme. Tradicija je zadržana i u periodu Austro-Ugarske, zabranjena tokom Jugoslavije, no zahvaljujući ljubavi sarajevskog tobdžije Smajila Krivića prema ovom običaju, tradicija je ponovo oživljena 1997. godine. Tobdžija Krivić već ustaljenim ritmom dolazi na Žutu tabiju

20 minuta prije iftara kako bi obavio sve pripreme i provjere. Kada su topovska cijev, barutno punjenje, fitilji i upaljači spremni, on gleda na sat i čeka da kazaljke dođu na svoje mjesto. Potom se čuje prasak, zabliješti svjetleća ruža na nebu iznad Sarajeva, pale se kandilji na džamijama i na radost postača počinje iftar.

JEDINSTVEN DOŽIVLJAJ Nakon toga se čuje zvuk kašika i čaša postača koji u tom trenutku prekidaju svoj višesatni post. Unaprijed pripremljena hrana ili kupljena na Tabiji, dekica i dobro raspoloženje je sve što treba posjetiteljima za nezaboravno ramazansko iskustvo. I za one koji nisu postači ovdje vrijedi doći, ako ništa zbog jedinstvenog doživljaja oličenog u panorami, druženju, čarobnom mirisu i hrani. Nakon ugodnog objedovanja i ispijanja bosanske kafe s pogledom na svjetla Sarajeva, laganim koracima

niz Kovače ide se u daljnji obilazak grada i tako sve dok ne dođe vrijeme namaza. Tada džamije i hareme ispune ljudi, užurbano tražeći svoje mjesto u safu za jaciju, a potom teravih namaz. Stranci koji posjećuju Sarajevo za vrijeme Ramazana, pomno i fascinantnim pogledima prate klanjanje noćnog namaza koji svaku noć privuče brojne vjernike u sarajevske džamije.

MULTIKULTURALNOST I TOLERANCIJA Nakon namaza Ferhadijom i Saračima razlije se rijeka ljudi u potrazi za mjestom gdje će se s prijateljima udobno smjestiti i popiti kafu. U tom trenutku čaršija potpuno oživi, a u slastičarnama i kafićima nerijetko se traži mjesto više. Tako Sarajevo tokom Ramazana živi do ranih jutarnjih sati, sve do sehura. Brojni sarajevski lokali rade, prilagođavajući radno vrijeme ovom mubarek mjesecu.

U glavnom gradu Bosne i Hercegovine sviću najljepše ramazanske zore uz sehur na čaršiji i sabah u nekoj od sarajevskih džamija, a iftar pod otvorenim nebom sa Sarajevom na dlanu, postao je tradicija ne samo Sarajlijama, već svim Bosancima i Hercegovcima, kao i turistima iz svih krajeva svijeta. Tokom Ramazana život ovdje poprima drugu dimenziju i neki novi ritam. Ljudi više posjećuju porodicu i prijatelje, te zajedno večeraju i druže se, a ono što privlači posjetitelje i izaziva divljenje onih koji se zateknu u Sarajevu u svetom mjesecu jeste šarenilo običaja i religija, multikulturalnost i tolerancija koja je uočljiva na svakom koraku. Kako je Ramazan posljednjih godina u jeku turističke sezone, organizovani su i mnogi prigodni sadržaji. Održava se i Sarajevo Ramazan Festival u okviru kojeg su aktivnosti, osim na Žutoj tabiji, organizovane na još nekoliko lokacija u gradu. Svako će u ovom gradu pronaći nešto za sebe! 43

In a city where the cultures of the East and the West merge, everything has a special charm, and that is also the case with the month of Ramadan when Muslims give up food, drink, and other bodily pleasures from sunrise until sunset. It is a month of blessings, God’s grace, forgiveness, protection and light, which spreads through the souls of worshippers. A special kind of happiness enters the homes of worshippers, and the city smells of the tastiest Bosnian dishes. And Sarajevo’s bakeries, especially the ones at Baščaršija, Alifakovac and Bistrik, complete the Ramadan atmosphere with the 44

smell of somun (flat bread). It is the kind of beauty that you cannot fully experience in other places.

RAMADAN CANNON A real attraction during Ramadan is the Yellow Fortress where Sarajevans, and many tourists, come to enjoy the blessings of Ramadan, and the magnificent view of the city. The fortress is located on Jekovac cliff, which is why it is also known as Jekovačka Fortress, and it is one of the forts which served as a defensive rampart around the old town of Vratnik. It is built out of roughly cut

stone, with seven outer walls that are 10 meters tall, while the eighth one, which faces the north, is 27.5 meters tall. On the north side, there are steps and a space constructed for soldiers, and on the southwest side there is a Muslim cemetery. Even though it is popular all year round, during Ramadan, it is the most popular spot in Sarajevo. Cannoneer Krivić has been coming to the Yellow Fortress regularly during Ramadan 20 minutes prior to iftar time in order to prepare and check that everything is in place. Once the cannon tube, gunpowder, wicks and lighters are ready, he looks at his watch and waits for the right time. Osim što je magi strirala Ruske i Istočnoevropske studije i završila magisterij iz žur nalistike s Indiana Uni verziteta, Moore posjeduje i Certifikat iz Svjetske historije umjetnosti s institucije Smithsonian. Kelly je tokom 90-ih godina boravila u Hrvatskoj, BiH i na Kosovu, te se tako upoznala s ovom regijom. Nakon 18 godina se vratila u BiH, u nadi da će dati pozitivan doprinos ovoj zemlji. Rođeni ste u New Yorku, a od 1990-ih godina radite u ovoj regiji i dobro ste upoznati s Bosnom i Hercegovinom. Kako biste je opisali nekome ko je nikada nije posjetio? - Bosna je uistinu divna zemlja. Pejzaž - planine, brda i rijeke je zaista magičan. Ljudi su veoma velikodušni i imaju odličan smisao za humor. Iako ste do sada radili i živjeli u različitim sredinama, šta je ono što Vas drži da živite i radite u Bosni i Hercegovini?

- Prvi put sam u Bosnu došla 1995. godine kao mlada i veoma neiskusna stručnjakinja. Iako su to bile teške godine, za mene su bile posebne. Mnogo toga sam naučila i stekla mnogo dobrih prijatelja sa kojima sam i danas u bliskim odnosima. Željela sam iskoristiti iskustvo i znanje koje sam stekla otkako sam zadnji put bila ovdje i pokušati dati pozitivan doprinos.

Trenutno ste šefica terenskog ureda OSCE-a Srebrenica. Koja je Vaša misija u Srebrenici, koje obaveze i odgovornosti podrazumijeva Vaša funkcija? - Naša misija u Srebrenici je mikrokosmos Misije OSCE-a u Bosni i Hercegovini u cjelini. Naš zadatak u terenskom uredu jeste provesti domaće projekte na polju demokratizacije, ljudskih prava, vladavine prava i obrazovanja u okviru naše zone odgovornosti koja obuhvata sedam općina na istoku Republike Srpske. Takođe provodimo i nekoliko projekata specifičnih za naš terenski ured. Ove godine težište našeg rada je na jačanju međureligijskog dijaloga i saradnje, promociji volunterizma i pružanju podrške razvoju nezavisnog i efektivnog sektora civilnog društva. Srebrenica ima mnogo potencijala za razvoj turizma; Pećina Divovac, nekropole stećaka na nekoliko lokacija, vodopad Učina Bašća, Tvrđavu Klotjevac, ljekovitu Guber vodu... Na koji način bi se ovaj grad mogao dalje razvijati i promovirati?

- Ne samo Srebrenica, mislim da čitava Bosna i Hercegovina ima mnogo potencijala za razvoj turizma. Volim posjećivati nova mjesta, a BiH ima neke od najljepših pejzaža u Evropi. Nažalost, ima i nekoliko veoma ozbiljnih prepreka koje mora prevazići kako bi postala pogodna za investicije i posjećivanje. Nadam se da će ljudi u BiH zahtijevati da njihove vođe poduzmu svrsishodne ko-

rake sa ciljem da ova država krene nekim boljim putem, s time se već uveliko kasni. Što se tiče Srebrenice, mislim da postoji potencijal za razvoj turizma. Međutim, ako u Google pretraživač utipkate pojam Srebrenica, prva riječ koju ćete vidjeti je masakr. To može privući turiste zainteresirane za ratnu tematiku, ali je zbog toga teško

privući turiste koji bi došli iz drugih razloga. Kao što ste istakli, postoje drugi razlozi da se posjeti Srebrenica, ali nisam sigurna da ljudi koji dolaze izvana znaju za njih. Ako dođe do ponovnog otvaranja Banje Guber, to bi otvorilo vrata daljem razvoju lječilišnog turizma. Mogla bi to biti veoma snažna poruka, ali će za njeno ostvarenje biti potrebno mnogo promišljanja, pažnje i vrijednog rada. 53

Jeste li Vi probali Guber vodu? Može li se ona više popularizirati i dići na viši nivo? - Čim sam čula za nju otrčala sam gore i umila se vodom ljepotica (smijeh), i pokazalo se da je istina! Ozbiljno govoreći, znam ljude koji koriste „vodu za sinuse“ i kažu da im stvarno pomaže. Nisam medicinski stručnjak, ali ta voda ima dugu istoriju korištenja u ljekovite svrhe još od rimskog doba. Kako Srebrenicu vidite kroz nekoliko godina? - To će zavisiti od faktora koji su na sceni i u Srebrenici i općenito u Bosni i Hercegovini. Postoji hitna potreba za davanjem nade i mogućnosti, naročito mladim ljudima u Bosni. Bez toga, ljudi će i dalje napuštati ovu državu, lišavajući Bosnu svojih sposobnosti koje će joj biti potrebne da bi se izgradio put ka demokratskoj i prosperitetnoj budućnosti. Stoga 54

će biti neophodni promišljeni lideri, a ne iznova prebacivanje krivice na nekog drugog niti retorika podjele koja pomaže malom broju ljudi na uštrb mnogih drugih.

Da li bi Srebrenica u budućnosti možda mogla postati centar joge? - To je zanimljivo pitanje. Ako Banja Guber postane centar ekonomskog oporavka u Srebrenici, a grad se fokusira na izgradnju identiteta koji se veže za lječilište, kao što sam pomenula, onda bi, sigurno, joga mogla biti važan element.

Except earning her master’s degree in Russian and East European Studies and a master’s degree in journalism from the Indiana University, Moore also received a Certificate in World Art History from the Smithsonian Institute. During the 1990s, Kelly stayed in Croatia, BiH and Kosovo, thus familiarising herself with the region. After 18 years, she returned to BiH in the hope that she would give a positive contribution to this country. You were born in New York, and since the 1990s you have been working in this region and are well acquainted with Bosnia and Herzegovina. How would you describe it to someone who has never visited BiH? - Bosnia is truly a beautiful country. The landscapes—mountains, hills and rivers—are really magical. And the people are very generous and have a great sense of humour. Although you have worked and lived in different parts of world so far, what is it that keeps you living and working in Bosnia and Herzegovina? - I first came to Bosnia in 1995 as a young and very inexperienced professional. Although those were very difficult years, they were also very special to me. I learned a great deal,

and made many good friends, who remain close friends even today. So I wanted to use the experience and knowledge I gained since I was first here to try and make a positive contribution. You are currently the Head of the OSCE Field Office Srebrenica. What is your mission in Srebrenica, what are the main obligations and responsibilities of your position? - Our mission in Srebrenica is a microcosm of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole. Our task in the field office is to implement national projects related to democratization, human rights, rule of law and education in our area of responsibility, which includes seven municipalities in eastern RS. We are also implementing a number of projects specific to our field office. This year our focus is on strengthening interfaith dialogue and cooperation, fostering volunteerism and supporting the development of an independent and effective civil society sector. Srebrenica has many potentials for tourism development; Cave Divovac, necropolis of Stećak tombstones in several locations, Učin Basić waterfall, Fortress Klotjevac, healing water of Guber... How could this town be further developed and promoted? - Not just Srebrenica, I think Bosnia 55

and Herzegovina in general has a lot of potential for tourism. I like to travel to new places and BiH has some of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve seen in Europe.

Unfortunately, Bosnia also has some very serious obstacles to overcome to make it an attractive place to invest and visit. I see a lot of finger pointing and not a lot of problem solving. I hope the people of Bosnia will demand that their leaders take meaningful action to put the country on a better path, it’s long overdue. As for Srebrenica, I think there is potential to develop tourism but if you do a google search of Srebrenica the first word you see is massacre. This may attract war tourists but it makes it difficult to attract tourists for other reasons. And as you point out, there are other reasons to visit Srebrenica, but I’m not sure people know about them outside of this area. If the Guber Spa was reopened, that would open the door to further development of tourism around the idea of healing. It could be a very powerful message but it will require a lot of reflection, thought, care and hard work.

In Srebrenica, much will depend on these larger developments, and to what extent Srebrenica continues to be a pawn in larger political games. Which may help some political careers, but it’s hard to see how it benefits the residents of the town. Hopefully they can get the Guber spa reopened within a broader strategic development plan. Time will tell. How do you spend your free time in Srebrenica and BiH, what are your favourite holiday destinations?

This will require thoughtful leadership, not more of the same blame game and divisive rhetoric that helps few at the expense of many.

- During ice hockey season I’m watching hockey. I also like to take walks with my dog, Lucy. I love to travel and am almost always planning a trip somewhere with a pool. I love to swim. Your biography reads that you are an yoga instructor. Could Srebrenica in the future be the yoga centre?

- Interesting question. If the Guber Spa becomes the center of economic revival in Srebrenica and the town focuses on building an identity around healing, as I mentioned, then, sure, yoga could be an important element.

Izgrađeni su tuševi, WC i kabine za presvlačenje, a na glavnoj plaži i tobogani za spuštanje. Užitak se može upotpuniti i drugim aktivnostima, poput raftinga ili planinarenja, s obzirom na to da jezero leži u blizini kanjona rijeke Neretve i ispod planine Prenj, koja je poznata kao Himalaji Hercegovine. S obzirom na blizinu grada, boravak na Boračkom jezeru može se iskoristiti i za posjetu Konjicu. Odmor na ovom jezeru vas neće mnogo koštati, u ugostiteljskim objektima cijene su prilično niske, kao i prenoćišta.

RAMSKO JEZERO Ovaj turistički dragulj nalazi se na području općine Prozor-Rama, u gornjoramskoj kotlini na sjeveru Hercegovine. Ramsko jezero nije prirodno, što apsolutno ne umanjuje njegov značaj, jer brojne goste plijeni svojim mogućnostima i osebujnim ramskim krajem. Tako u blagodatima njegove netipične ljepote uživaju sve više turisti, naravno, lokalci, kao i svi drugi koji voli ugodne trenutke provoditi u okruženju idealnom za izlete, a ljeti i za kupanje. Na Ramskom jezeru može se uživati u veslanju, panoramskom obilasku brodicom, kao i u ribolovu. Jezero se prostire maksimalnom dužinom od 12 kilometara, površinom od oko 1500 ha, te najvećom dubinom od oko 95 metara u okruženju strmog vijenca planinskih masiva Raduše, Makljena, Ljubuše i Vrana. BORAČKO LAKE For all nature lovers, Boračko Lake is the ideal destination. It is located at the height of 397 m above sea level and represents a true oasis of fresh air, clean water and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains of Prenj, Visočica and Bjelašnica. This natural mountain lake is pleasant for swimming, taking a break and recreation. The lake is elliptical in shape with natural beaches and a hiking trail along the entire length of the shore, and it offers the opportunity of an ideal vacation for families and groups. Boračko Lake is excellent for camping, and apart from that it is open to visitors in the context of renting

There are also paddle boats, boats, barbecue spots, and children’s playgrounds, and the lake is also suitable for fishing, as there are carps, stream and lake trouts, river crabs… The lake gets its water from Borački stream and numerous surrounding streams, (there are streams even at the bottom of the lake), and it is warmest in August, so it is best to visit during summer. There are also showers, toilets and change rooms there, as well as slides on the main beach. You can also enjoy other activities, such as rafting or mountaineering, considering that the lake is near the canyon of Neretva River under the Prenj Mountain, which is known as the Himalayas of Herzegovina. RAMSKO LAKE This tourist gem is located in the region of the Prozor-Rama Municipality, in the upper Rama basin in the north of Herzegovina. Ramsko Lake is not natural, which in no way makes it less significant, as it is captivating due to the range of activities on offer and the distinctive Rama region. This atypical beauty is great for tourists, as well as locals, and anyone else who loves spending time in a place that is ideal for excursions, and swimming during summer. At Ramsko Lake, you can also enjoy rowing, take a panoramic boat tour, and go fishing.

The lake stretches out across a maximum length of 12 kilometers, on an area of around 1500 ha, and the utmost depth of around 95 meters surrounded by a steep chain of the mountain massives of Raduša, Makljen, Ljubuša and Vran. It gets its unique flair from the islands and peninsulas, of which the peninsula of Šćit is most famous, where the Franciscan monastery of Rama-Šćit is located, which was constructed by Franciscans during the 15th century. Visiting the fortress in Jajce is an experience of the city from a completely different perspective. 8. MUZEJ II ZASJEDANJA AVNOJ-a Za ljubitelje historije, Muzej II zasjedanja AVNOJ-a odlično je mjesto za posjetiti prilikom boravka u Jajcu. U zgradi u kojoj se 29. i 30. novembra 1943. godine održao historijski trenutak formiranja Socijalističke Federativne Republike Jugoslavije, danas se nalazi muzej. Pored originalne fotelje Josipa Broza i drugog namještaja, postavka sadrži djela poznatih slikara, kao i specijalnu biblioteku, a izložena je i lokomotiva Mala Partizanka. 68

Tu su i Pozorišne/ kazališne igre Bosne i Hercegovine, koje se tradicionalno održavaju prve sedmice u mjesecu junu i traju 6 dana. Početkom jula u Jajcu se organiziraju Dani srednjovjekovlja koji okupe brojne viteške družine iz BiH i inozemstva, a cilj ove manifestacije je očuvanje bogate kulturno-historijske baštine u Jajcu.

GETTING TO THE CANYON This canyon is one of the most significant natural sites of B&H, and it is situated only about 30 kilome72

To reach the upper part of the river current, in the village of Rakitnica, you take the paved path from Sarajevo, through the Olympic mountains of Igman and Bjelašnica and the village of Šabići, while the nearest access road towards the mouth of the Rakitnica River starts from Konjic, twenty kilometers towards the east, towards Boračko Lake. The ecosystem of this canyon is the habitat of over 30 types of endemic plant species and numerous endemic animal species. Bears, wolves, wild boars, weasels and wild goats have found their shelter here. The crystal-clear water of this canyon, which originates from mountain streams, is drinkable along the entire current, and its temperature during summer varies between 10 and 14 degrees.

You can visit and explore Rakitnica from May to October with tours that depart from Sarajevo, from the Olympic center at Bjelašnica, and also from Konjic. The path to the Rakitnica canyon is a real attraction for fans of adventurous sports activities. osna i Hercegovina je poznata kao zemlja bogata prirodnim ljepotama i najčešće nedovoljno istraženim, pećinskim svijetom. Jedan takav dragulj je i Dabarska pećina koja se nalazi desetak kilometara od Sanskog Mosta i zbog svoje jedinstvenosti je prije pet godina, kao kulturni pejzaž, uvrštena na Listu nacionalnih spomenika BiH. Nacionalni spomenik čine prirodne i antropogene sastavnice pećine, kao i pokretni arheološki materijal deponiran u Zemaljskom muzeju Bosne i Hercegovine u Sarajevu. Značaj ove pećine je višestruk i ogleda se u nekoliko aspekata: hidrološkom, biološkom, arheološkom i turističkom. Ovdje se priroda izdašno poigrala sa stijenom i vodom, a lokalitet na kojem se nalazi pećina, ali i izvor istoimene rijeke je pristupačan, pa čak iako ga posjećuju brojni turisti, ovaj resurs je još uvijek nedovoljno iskorišten.

FASCINANTAN ULAZ U PEĆINU Ulaz u pećinu je fascinantan i podsjeća na tunel kojim se ulazi u oko74

mitu stijenu, koja se ponosno uzdiže i dominira krajolikom. Svod na ulazu u pećinu je visok dvadesetak metara, a unutrašnjost je prostrana. Kroz pećinu se bez opreme može kretati u dužini od oko 200 metara, a nakon toga se dolazi do jezera i dalji prolazak je moguć samo uz pomoć čamca i ronilačke opreme. Pećina se na tom mjestu račva u dva kanala

Ulaz u pećinu je fascinantan i podsjeća na tunel kojim se ulazi u okomitu stijenu, koja se ponosno uzdiže i dominira krajolikom i oni su u prošlosti bili predmet speleološkog istraživanja, te je utvrđeno kako se dalje prostire mreža manjih kanala koju je, praktično, nemoguće do kraja istražiti. Ustanovljeno je kako se najduži kanal završava sifonskim jezerom i većom količinom zemlje koja ga je začepila, zbog čega je dalje napredovanje moguće samo ronjenjem ili uklanjanjem čepa od blata.

Dabarska pećina ne obiluje, poput Hrustovačke koja se također nalazi u Sanskom Mostu, pećinskim ukrasima, stalaktitima i stalagmitima, ali zbog svoje veličine pruža utisak impozantnosti i predstavlja pravi izazov za speleologe.

ČOVJEČJA RIBICA Prilikom naučnih istraživanja od prije nekoliko decenija, u jezeru koje se nalazi u unutrašnjosti pećine pronađena je čovječja ribica, endemska vrsta iz prahistorije koja je opstala jedino u izuzetno čistim vodama i mračnim prostorima. Arheološkim istraživanjima došlo se do saznanja da je pećina nastanjivana u prahistoriji, s obzirom na to da su na ovom lokalitetu pronađeni različiti predmeti koje su u svojoj svakodnevici koristili naši preci. U blizini su pronađeni i ostaci sojeničkog naselja i pretpostavlja se kako oni potječu iz perioda Ilira. Uzimajući u obzir sve zanimljive činjenice koje se vežu u ovu pećinu, kao i njenu impozantnost, ovo mjesto je praznik za oči i dušu, te ga zaista vrijedi posjetiti.

One such gem is the Dabarska Cave, which is located around ten kilometers from Sanski Most. Five years ago, due to its uniqueness, it was placed on the list of National Monuments of B&H as a cultural landscape. This national monument consists of the natural and anthropogenic components of the cave, as well as movable archaeological material, which is kept at the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.

FASCINATING ENTRANCE TO THE CAVE The entrance to the cave is fascinating and reminiscent of a tunnel which enters a vertical cliff that proudly

The research concluded that a network of smaller channels stretches from there, and it is practically impossible to investigate them fully. It has been determined that the longest channel ends in a lake with a large amount of soil blocking it, which is why it is only possible to go further by diving or removing the plug of mud. Dabarska Cave, unlike Hrustovačka Cave, which is also located at Sanski Most, is not full of cave decorations, stalactites and stalagmites,

but due to its size, it is impressive and represents a real challenge for speleologists.

OLM Several decades ago, research showed that there was olm in the lake within the cave, an endemic species from prehistoric times, which could only survive in very clear water and dark spaces. Archaeological research has shown that the cave had inhabitants in prehistoric times, considering that different items were found here which our ancestors would use in their daily lives. Nearby, the remains of a lake-dwelling settlement were also found and it is assumed that they date back to the time of the Illyrians. Taking into consideration all the interesting facts related to this cave, and its impressiveness, this place is a sight for sore eyes, and it is really worth a visit. 75

NAJVEĆA KAMENA KUGLA NA SVIJETU Kamene kugle u BiH su otkrivene na više lokacija i većinom su manjih 76

Autor: Samila Ivković dimenzija, ali ima i onih većih promjera i teških po nekoliko tona. Na području Zavidovića pronađeno ih je 60 i nalaze se na 11 lokacija, dok naselje Grab-Mećevići predstavlja najveće nalazište kamenih kugli u Evropi. U ovom mjestu se nalazi preko 20 kugli iznimno lijepog i pravilnog oblika, a desetine njih su uništili mještani zbog legendi koje su postojale. Prije nekoliko godina u mjestu Podubravlje, također u Zavidovićima, pronađena je najveća kamena kugla

na Starom kontinentu, a možda čak i u svijetu. Njen radijus iznosi oko 1,5 metar i procijenjena je da teži oko 37 tona. Činjenica da se najveća kamena kugla nalazi baš u srcu BiH, postala je mamac za brojne posjetitelje i istraživače. Od 2006. godine, kada su počela istraživanja, Zavidoviće su posjećivali vrhunski arheolozi i geolozi kako bi utvrdili o čemu se ovdje zaista radi. Do sada je kugle ispitivalo oko 70 istraživača i stručnjaka, ali konačan sud o tome kako su kugle tačno nastale, nikada nije donesen.

KUGLE NA LOKACIJAMA ŠIROM BIH Još jedna fascinirajuća kamena kugla, druga po veličini u BiH, otkrivena je u Slatini kod Laktaša. Teška je blizu 10 tona, a ima prečnik od oko dva metra. Upravo zbog nje sve više turista i drugih znatiželjnika dolazi u Slatinu u želji da obiđu, dodirnu ili fotografišu kamenu gromadu, uvjereni da će to poboljšati njihovo zdravlje i ojačati duh. Kamene kugle pronađene su i u Velikoj Kladuši u naselju Zborište, u neposrednoj blizini granice s Hrvatskom, u šumovitom predjelu ispod vrha brda Grljavac. Ukupno su otkrivene četiri kugle, a danas su na tom lokalitetu ostale dvije velike, dok su druge dvije, koje su znatno manje, premještene nedaleko od mjesta nastanka i nalaze se na privatnim posjedima dvojice mještana. Kugle slične ovima pronađene su i u okolini Vareša, Banjaluke, Kaknja, Maglaja, Žepča, Teočaka, Olova i Gračanice.

THE LARGEST STONE SPHERE IN THE WORLD Stone spheres have been discovered in various locations in B&H; they are mostly small, but there are also larger ones and those that weigh up to several tons. In the Zavidovići area, 60 of them have been found and they are scattered across 11 locations, while the area of Grab-Mećevići

represents the largest site of stone spheres in Europe. VODENI PARK KOZARAC Spas od visokih temperatura uz mogućnost istinskog osvježenja možete potražiti u Vodenom parku Kozarac, jednom od turističkih bisera ovog dijela BiH. Ovaj kompleks sastoji od olimpijskog i dječijeg bazena koji sadrže divlje rijeke, tobogan, masažu, pečurku za djecu, golove za vaterpolo... VODENI PARK AQUANA, BANJA LUKA Smješten u neposrednoj blizini centra Banja Luke, tačnije u naselju Borik, vodeni park Aquana se prostire na 38.000 kvadratnih metara, i najveća je turistička i zabavna atrakcija grada. U sastavu vodenog parka nalaze se tri bazena: dječiji, plivački i bazen s atrakcijama (tobogan dužine 100 metara, vodeni tok, vrtlog, fontane, masažna ležišta i masažni mlazevi) ukupne vodene površine od 1.500 metara kvadratnih, kao i velike zelene kaskade i površine s

prirodnim hladom od 24.000 metara kvadratnih. Pored bazenskih sadržaja, posjetiteljima su na raspolaganju sportsko-rekreativni centar koji obuhvata terene za tenis, košarku, odbojku na pijesku i nekoliko ugostiteljskih objekata. Sezona počinje krajem maja ili početkom juna u zavisnosti od vremenskih prilika.

TERMALNA RIVIJERA ILIDŽA, SARAJEVO Na toplim izvorištima Ilidže razvijen je najveći termalni kompleks u ovom dijelu Evrope. Na površini od 15 hektara, Termalna rivijera Ilidža svojim posjetiteljima nudi prijatno opuštanje i aktivan odmor na unutrašnjim i vanjskim bazenima s brojnim atraktivnim vodenim i animacijskim programima, te privlačnu prateću ponudu. Bazeni Ljetne Rivijere obuhvataju 4.600 metara kvadratnih vodenih površina i na njima se nalaze brza rijeka, masažna sjedišta, jet masažeri, whirlpooli, tobogani, ali i animacija na suhom u vidu trampolina, ping-ponga i dječijih autića.

U okviru vodenog parka organizuju su i besplatne škole plivanja, kao i takmičenja u plivanju, a izgrađeno je i odbojkaško igralište. U sklopu Vodenog parka se nalaze restoran, pizzeria i bar koji upotpunjuju održavanje raznih zabavnih manifestacija i dešavanja. Bazeni imaju digitalnu tehnologiju analize i doziranja vode. Za ovaj vodeni park se smatra da je među najljepšim bazenima u BiH.

ZELENI VIR, OLOVO Odmaralište Zeleni vir nalazi se oko 3 kilometra od centra Olova, grada koji je na oko 50 kilometara sjeveroistočno od Sarajeva, na putu koji vodi za Tuzlu. Zeleni vir je smješten na bistroj rijeci Bioštici, samo ime dovoljno govori o ljepoti ovog predjela, gdje se zelenilo bistre vode spaja s vječnim zelenilom četinara. Odmaralište je obogaćeno raznim sadržajima kao što su bazeni za djecu i odrasle opskrbljenim toplom banjskom vodom, terenom za odbojku, raznim zabavnim sadržajima za odmor i rekreaciju. In that spirit, we would like to inform you about several modern and attractive outdoor pools, and maybe one of them will be your choice for an ideal break this summer.

AQUA PARK RIBICA, VITEZ Ethno village Čardaci in Vitez is the ideal place for a summer vacation, delighting visitors with an excellent offer. One of the numerous attractions of Ethno village Čardaci is the aqua park Ribica with four pools. The recreational pool, with an area of 1100 square meters, is enriched with brilliant water attractions, which can rarely be seen in this region. Visitors can enjoy the water massage, air beds, standing water massage, air massage and geysers, swimming under the waterfall, and there are also slides for children, as 82

The water that is used in the pools is the famous Fojnica thermal water, with a temperature of 27 degrees Celsius. Visitors also have wellness massages under canopies at their disposal, grounds for beach volleyball, table tennis facilities, and for children – grounds with slides, swings and seesaws, sailboat Victoria, along with unforgettable culinary specialties, a pizzeria, open bars with exotic cocktails, weekly animation programs, sports, concerts and cultural and art events. AQUA PARK AQUANA, BANJA LUKA Located in the immediate vicinity of the center of Banja Luka, more precisely in the suburb of Borik, aqua park Aquana stretches out across 38000 square meters, and it is the largest tourist and entertainment attraction of the city. Within the aqua park, there are three pools: a children’s, swimming and attraction pool (100-meter slide, water current, whirlpool, fountains, massage beds and massage jets) of an overall water area of 1500 square meters, as well as large green cascades with natural shade of an area of 24000 square meters. Apart from the pools, visitors have a sports and recreational center, which consists of grounds for tennis,

basketball, beach volleyball and several hospitality establishments. The season starts towards the end of May or the beginning of June, depending on the weather conditions.

THERMAL RIVIERA ILIDŽA, SARAJEVO At the warm springs of Ilidža, the largest thermal complex in this part of Europe has been developed. On an area of 15 hectares, Thermal Riviera Ilidža offers its visitors pleasant relaxation and an active break at the indoor and outdoor pools, with numerous water attractions and animation programs, and an attractive accompanying offer. The pools of the Summer Riviera cover 4600 square meters of water areas, and there is a quick river 83

At the outdoor pools, there is also a cafe/restaurant, and other points where refreshment can be obtained. This is an excellent choice for endless fun and entertainment for all ages.

AQUA PARK KOZARAC You can seek salvation from the high temperatures with real refreshment at aqua park Kozarac, one of the tourist pearls of this part of B&H. This complex consists of an Olympic and 84

children’s pool, which has a wild river, slide, massage options, children’s „mushroom“, water polo goals... The water area of the pool is 1726 square meters, and the overall area of the park is 7180 square meters. Within the water park, free swimming lessons are organized, as well as swimming competitions, and there are grounds for volleyball. Within the aqua park, there is a restaurant, pizzeria and bar, which complete the area with various entertainment events. The pools use digital technology for the analysis of water and dosage of water. This aqua park is thought to have the prettiest pool in B&H.

GREEN WHIRLPOOL, OLOVO The Green Whirlpool resort is around 3 kilometers from the center of

Olovo, a city that is around 50 kilometers northeast from Sarajevo, on the road that leads to Tuzla. The Green Whirlpool is located on the clear Bioštica River, where the name of the river speaks of the beauty of this region, where the greenery of the clear water connects with the permanent greenery of the conifers. The resort is enriched by numerous activities, such as the pools for children and adults, equipped with warm spa water, grounds for volleyball, and various fun activities for rest and recreation. Next to the pool, there is also a restaurant, where visitors have the opportunity to enjoy themselves next to the beautiful Bioštica River with a rich variety of culinary specialties.

HOTELSKO KUPALIŠTE je kupalište na kojem je pristup gostima van hotela uglavnom ograničen i koja su uređena po najvišim standardima, male gustine i velikog komfora kompatibilno hotelskoj kategoriji. PORODIČNO KUPALIŠTE je javno kupalište koje je svojom ponudom i organizacijom pogodno za cjelodnevni boravak roditelja s djecom. KUPALIŠTE ZA AKTIVNI ODMOR je javno kupalište koje je namijenjeno za sportske i rekreativne aktivnosti na plaži i u moru. U skladu s vrstama aktivnosti, kupališta za aktivni odmor se dijele na 3 podvrste: Sportsko, rekreativno i adrenalinsko kupalište, kupalište za ronioce i kupalište za kite/wind surfing. 96

PARTY KUPALIŠTE je javno kupalište koje se organizuje u izolovanim područjima i na lokacijama gdje buka ne utiče na okolinu. Imaju mogućnost organizacije zabavnih sadržaja 24h. KUPALIŠTE POSEBNE NAMJENE je kupalište na kojima je dozvoljen pristup samo za određene kategorije posjetitelja. Ono može biti (nudističko/žensko, kupalište namijenjeno dječijim odmaralištima i kupališta namijenjena banjskim lječilištima). IZLETNIČKO KUPALIŠTE je kupalište do kojeg se može doći jedino morskim putem. Pogodno je za organizovanje izletničkih tura i piknika. ROMANTIČNO KUPALIŠTE je kupalište koje se organizuje na skrovitim dijelovima obale, uglavnom u tihim uvalama. Između ostalog, podrazumijeva ponudu organizacije posebnih programa (vjenčanja, rođendana, vjeridbe, proslave godišnjica). KUPALIŠTE BEZ PLAŽNOG MOBILIJARA je javno kupalište na kojem nije dozvoljeno postavljanje plažnog mobilijara (suncobrana i ležaljki).

KUPALIŠTE ZA KUĆNE LJUBIMCE je javno kupalište koje je namijenjeno za boravak kupača sa svojim ljubimcima (psima). Ovo kupalište se oprema i organizuje uz postavljanje opreme i infrastrukture na plaži za kućne ljubimce (tuševa za ljubimce, posude za vodu i hranu, rekvizite za čišćenje i odlaganje izmeta). KUPALIŠTE S PRIRODNIM LJEKOVITIM FAKTORIMA i wellness sadržajima je javno kupalište koje se oprema i organizuje na mjestima gdje postoje prirodni ljekoviti faktori (ljekovita blata, mineralne vode i slično) za što je neophodno posjedovanje certifikata o kvalitetu. NUDISTIČKO KUPALIŠTE (FKK) je kupalište posebne namjene koje se oprema i organizuje po posebnim uslovima uz kontrolisan i ograničen ulaz na kupalište za posebne kategorije kupača. KUPALIŠTE NAMIJENJENO DJEČIJEM ODMARALIŠTU je kupalište posebne namjene koje se organizuje uz stalno prisustvo i nadzor vaspitača. Na ovom kupalištu nije dozvoljeno oba vljanje djelatnosti izdavanja plažnog mobilijara (suncobrana i ležaljki).

BAJOVA KULA Atraktivna šljunkovita plaža i drvena ponta, uz koju je moguć pristanak manjih brodova, skrivena je mjestu Dražin vrt. Ako krenete kotorskom rivijerom od Persta ka Orhovcu, lokaciju ćete prepoznati po malenom utvrđenju, po kojem se danas zove ova plaža - Bajova kula. Danas je omiljeno izletište Kotorana, obogaćeno modernim plažnim barom i gastro ponudom vrhunskog kvaliteta. Namijenjena je ljubiteljima ROMANTIKE.

PLAŽA DOBREČ Smještena na jugozapadu poluostrva Luštica, uklesana u stijenama i makiji, plaža Dobreč dostupna je jedino morskim putem. No, to je upravo čini pravim rajem za ljubitelje skrovitih i nesvakidašnjih mjesta, koja svojom ponudom odišu tihim luksuzom. Duga svega 43 metra, obuhvata pješčanu plažu, malo pristanište za brodove, plažni bar od drveta i kamena i restoran čuven po ribljim specijalitetima. Plaža Dobreč je prvi nosilac prestižnog ekološkog priznanja Plava zastavica u Crnoj Gori. Javno preduzeće za upravljanje morskim dobrom je ove godine kategorisalo kao PORODIČNO kupalište.

OSTRVO SVETI NIKOLA Ostrvo Sveti Nikola ili Školj je najveće crnogorsko ostrvo. Prostire se na 47 hektara i na gotovo 2 km dužine, a od Starog grada u Budvi udaljeno je nešto više od 1 km. Ime je dobilo po istoimenoj crkvi i zaštitniku pomoraca - Svetom Nikoli. Ostrvo je bogato s tri prelijepe šljunkovito-pjeskovite plaže ukupne dužine 840 metara i preko nekoliko manjih divljih plaža. Ponuda na ostrvu je raznolika, od nekoliko romantičnih kupališta s malim tradicionalnim restoranima, do potpune izolovanosti i intimnosti kakvu nude IZLETNIČKE destinacije.

ŽENSKA PLAŽA U najjužnijem crnogorskom gradu Ulcinju, u hladu Borove šume, nalazi se Ženska plaža, koja je zbog svojih prirodnih karakteristika i ljekovite sumporne vode pune minerala oduvijek rado bila preporučena ženskoj populaciji. he Montenegro Public Enterprise for Coastal Zone Management is making it easier for locals and countless tourists to select the perfect place to enjoy the sun and sea – just as they like it. Guided by world trends when it comes the organization of bathing areas, beaches on the Montenegro coast will be categorized during the 2019 season.

HOTEL BATHING AREA is an area where access is mostly limited to hotel guests, and this is an area of the highest standard, of low density and great comfort compatible with the hotel category. FAMILY BATHING AREA is a public area, which is organized to be suitable for the all-day stay of people with children. BATHING AREA FOR AN ACTIVE VACATION is a public area intended for sports and recreational activities on the beach and in the sea. Depending on the type of activity, bathing areas for an active vacation are divided into 3 subgroups: sporting, recreational and adrenaline bathing areas, a bathing area for divers and an area for kite/wind surfing.

NEW CATEGORIES AND TYPES OF MONTENEGRO BEACHES PARTY BATHING AREA is a public area, which is organized in isolated locations, where noise does not affect the surroundings. It is possible to organize entertainment here 24/7. SPECIAL-PURPOSE BATHING AREA is an area where only a certain category of visitors is allowed access. It can be a nudist/women’s only area, a children’s area or a spa bathing area.

BATHING AREA FOR PETS is a public area intended for people with pets (dogs). This bathing area is equipped and organized with things you may need for your pet on the beach (showers for pets, bowls for water and food, cleaning supplies and supplies for the disposal of feces).

EXCURSION BATHING AREA is an area that you can reach only by sea. It is suitable for organizing excursion tours and picnics.

BATHING AREA WITH NATURAL HEALING PROPERTIES AND WELLNESS is a public area which is equipped and organized in places where there are natural healing properties (healing muds, mineral waters and similar) which requires a quality certificate.

ROMANTIC BATHING AREA is an area located in secluded parts of the coast, mostly in quiet coves. Here, you can organize special events (weddings, birthdays, engagements, anniversary celebrations).

NUDIST BATHING AREA (FKK) is a special-purpose area, which is equipped and organized under special circumstances with a controlled and limited entrance to the bathing area for a special category of swimmers.

BATHING AREA WITHOUT BEACH EQUIPMENT is a public area where beach equipment is not permitted (parasols and deck chairs).

BATHING AREA FOR CHILDREN is a special-purpose area, where children are under constant supervision of child minders. Renting out beach equipment (parasols and deck chairs) is not permitted in this bathing area.

DOBREČ BEACH Located on the southwest of the Luštica peninsula, carved into the rocks and bushes, Dobreč Beach is accessible only by sea. However, this makes it a real paradise for fans of secluded and unusual places, which are quietly luxurious with their offer. At only 43 meters long, it encompasses a sand beach, a small

boat dock, a wooden and rock beach bar and restaurant known for its fish specialties. Dobreč Beach is the first recipient of the prestigious ecological accolade Blue Flag in Montenegro. This beach was categorized as a FAMILY bathing area this year by the Public Enterprise for Coastal Zone Management. 99

ST. NICHOLAS ISLAND St. Nicholas Island or Školj is the largest island in Montenegro. It stretches out across 47 hectares and almost 2 km in length, and it is a little over 1 km away from the Old Town of Budva. It got its name from the church of the same name and the protector of sailors – Saint Nicholas. The island is enriched by three beautiful pebbly and sandy beaches of an overall length of 840 meters and several smaller wild beaches. The offer on the island is varied, from several romantic bathing areas with small traditional restaurants, to the complete isolation and intimacy offered by the EXCURSION destinations.

BAJOVA KULA An attractive pebbly beach and wooden dock, where smaller boats can come in is hidden at Dražin Vrt. Should you head towards the Kotor Riviera to Perst towards Orahovac, you will recognize the locality by the small fort, which the beach was named after - Bajova Kula (Fort). Today, it is a favorite excursion site of Kotor locals, enriched by a modern beach bar and high-quality cuisine offer. It is intended for lovers of romance.

WOMEN’S BEACH In the southernmost Montenegro city of Ulcinj, in the shade of pinewood, there is a Women’s beach, which was always highly recommended for women, because of its natural characteristics and medicinal sulfuric water full of minerals. Today, from May to October, only women can visit this beach, and the best experience is in the early morning, when you can smell the thick pine and mineral water. This unusual beach has a mysteriousness due to the nearby cave, and is rich in shells and blue turquoise water. NEROBERG Wiesbaden je bio pod upravom dinastije Nassau stotinama godina i dom visoke aristokracije, čiji posjedi se još uvijek mogu naći širom grada. Punu predstavu o ljepoti i raznolikosti glavnog grada Hessena vidjet ćete ako krenete turističkim vozićem u obilazak brda Neroberg, koji će vas iz centra odvesti do nekadašnjih rezidencija knezova Nassaua, s vilama i otmjenim zgradama, koje se nalaze uz prelijepe avenije. Putem ćete vidjeti rusku pravoslavnu crkvu koja podsjeća na tužnu ljubavnu priču grofa Nassau i ruske princeze Elizabete, koja je u 19. godini preminula pri rađanju njihovog prvog djeteta. U njihovu čast grof je od miraza koji je Elizabeta donijela u brak, sagradio ovo veleljepno zdanje. Na području crkve nalazi se i pravoslavno groblje gdje su pokopani mnogi predstavnici plemićkih ru-

skih porodica. Do brda Neroberga stiže se žičarom koja je jedina žičara na svijetu koja koristi vodeni balast kao pogonski sistem. S vrha brežuljka pruža se veličanstven pogled na Wiesbaden i dolinu Rajne.

ŠTA POSJETITI U WIESBADENU Kurhaus (u prijevodu Spa kuća) u Wiesbadenu, s veličanstvenim balskim salama, danas služi kao mjesto održavanja tradicionalnih kulturnih događaja, koncerata na otvorenom i baleta. Tu je 12 soba i salona različitih veličina i stilova, nekoliko restorana i kazino sve pod jednim krovom. Poznati ruski pisac, Fjodor Dostojevski proveo je mnogo vremena u kazinima Njemačke, a upravo ovdje je izgubio mnogo novaca što ga je inspirisalo za njegovo čuveno djelo Kockar. Odmah iza Kurhausa, nalazi se Kurpark Wiesbaden projektovan je 1852. godine u stilu engleskog vrta. U sklopu parka nalazi se jezerce, gdje posjetitelji mogu iznajmiti brodiće. Tu je i umjetni otok i impresivna fontana visoka 6 metara.

Najviša građevina u Wiesbadenu je crkva Marktkirche čiji glavni toranj se uzdiže na 98 metara i dominira nebom iznad Wiesbadena. Izdvaja se po crvenoj boji cigle i po visini, uglavnom je zadržala svoj originalni izgled.

OKOLINA WIESBADENA (RUDESHEIM AM RHEIN I ELTVILLE) Grad Rudesheim am Rhein nalazi se nedaleko od Wiesbadena i jedno je od najpoželjnijih turističkih odredišta u Njemačkoj. Osim po prekrasnim srednjovjekovnim građevinama i posebnog stila gradnje, zbog čega se nalazi na UNESCO listi svjetske kulturne baštine, grad je poznat i kao rado posjećena vinska regija. Doživljaj je poseban kada se vozite žičarom iznad plodnih vinograda, a pogled puca na dolinu Rajne. Žičarom se stiže i do vidikovca na kojem se nalazi impresivni, 38 metra visok, spomenik Niederwalddenkmal koji simbolizira ponovnu uspostavu njemačkog carstva nakon francusko-pruskog rata.

Glavna skulptura je Germania, klasična mitska ženska figura koja predstavlja Njemačku. U njenoj uzdignutoj desnoj ruci nalazi se carska kruna, a carski mač drži u lijevoj. U središtu Rüdesheima nalazi se čuvena uska uličica Drosselgasse, duga je 144 metra i široka samo dva. U ljetnoj sezoni ovdje se uz muziku uživo pleše do ranih jutarnjih sati, te ne čudi što Drosselgasse privlači više od tri miliona posjetitelja godišnje. U središtu vinogradarskog kraja Rheingau, na obali Rajne, smjestio se prekrasni gradić Eltville koji ponosno nosi titulu Grad ruža. U njegovim vrtovima i parkovima cvjeta više od 350 vrsta ruža, a pored privatnih, svake godine i 22 hiljade ruža na javnim površinama procvjeta i mirisom opija ovaj šarmantni grad. Okružen je vinogradima, kućama s drvenim okvirima i bujnim vrtovima ruža, čije uske uličice vode do promenade s drvoredima platana ispod kojih se nalaze klupe, a pogled nestaje za brodovima koji se sporo kreću niz rijeku. ith its thermal springs, the city has always been known as the wellness oasis of Europe. 2000 years ago, Romans recognized the healing powers of thermal water and sought relaxation and refreshment here. While there used to be 26, today there are only around fifteen springs spread out across the city, of which the most famous one is Kaiser Friedrich`s Thermae, located in the wonderful park created as an English landscape park. The temperature of the water is around 66 degrees, and entrance is only permitted to persons over 16. Walking through the city center, you will see some of the best city squares, large parks and historical buildings, which adorn the city that is also well known as a place of entertainment and culture, with many upscale stores, galleries, museums and theaters with an international reputation. Festivals are also very popular, and each year ensembles gather at the Hessian State Theater at the international festival of Maifestspielen (May festival) and the Rheingau music festival, which turn

the entire region around Wiesbaden into a unique summer concert stage. Each year, there is also a festive mood due to the WilhelmstraĂ&#x;enfest festival, which is the biggest street festival in Germany.

NEROBERG Wiesbaden was ruled by the Nassau dynasty for hundreds of years and is the home of high aristocracy, whose properties can still be found across the city. You will get the full idea of the beauty and diversity of the capital of Hessen if you take the tourist train to see the Neroberg mountain, which will take you from the center to what used to be the residences of the counts of Nassau, with villas and lavish buildings, located along beautiful avenues. Along the way, you will come across the Russian Orthodox church, which is reminiscent of the sad love story of the count of Nassau and the Russian princess Elizabeth, who died at the age of 19, while giving birth to their first child. In their honor, the count built this beautiful building from the dowry that Elizabeth brought into the marriage.

Near the church, there is also an Orthodox cemetery, where many representatives of noble Russian families were buried. You can reach the Neroberg mountain with a cable car, the only one left of its kind in the world that operates with a water ballast. From the top of the hill, there is a magnificent view of Wiesbaden and the valley of the Rhine River.

WHAT TO SEE IN WIESBADEN Kurhaus (or Spa House when translated) in Wiesbaden, with magnificent ballrooms, today serves as a place where traditional cultural events, outdoor concerts, and the ballet are held. There are 12 rooms and salons of varying sizes and styles there, several restaurants and a casino, all under one roof. The famous Russian author, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, spent a lot of time in the casinos of Germany, and it was here that he lost a lot money, which inspired his renowned work The Gambler. Right behind Kurhaus, there is Kurpark Wiesbaden, which was designed in 1852 in the style of an English

landscape park. Within the park, there is a small lake, where visitors can rent boats. There is also an artificial island and an impressive six-meter fountain. The tallest building in Wiesbaden is the Marktkirche church; its main tower rises to 98 meters and dominates the sky above Wiesbaden. It stands out due to its brick-red color and height, and it has mainly preserved its original appearance.

THE SURROUNDINGS OF WIESBADEN (RUDESHEIM AM RHEIN AND ELTVILLE) The city of Rudesheim am Rhein is located near Wiesbaden and it is one of the most desirable tourist sites in Germany. Apart from beautiful medieval structures and a special style of construction, which is why it is on the UNESCO list of world cultural heritage, the city is also wellknown as a frequently visited wine region. It is a special experience when you ride the cable car above the fertile vineyards, and there is a view of the valley of the Rhine River. You can also reach the vantage

point by cable car, where there is an impressive, 38-meter-high Niederwalddenkmal monument, which symbolizes the re-establishment of the German Empire after the French-Prussian war. The main sculpture is Germania, the classical mythical female figure, which represents Germany. In her raised right hand, there is an imperial crown, and in her left hand, there is an imperial sword. In the center of Rüdesheim, there is the well-known narrow street Drosselgasse, 144 meters long and only two meters wide. During the summer season, people dance along to live music until the early morning hours, so it is no wonder that Drosselgasse attracts over three million visitors annually. In the center of the vineyard region of Rheingau, on the bank of the Rhine River, the wonderful town of Eltville sits, proudly holding the title of the Town of Roses. In its gardens and parks, there are over 350 types of roses in bloom, and apart from those, each year 22 thousand roses bloom in public spaces and their

smells overtake this charming city. It is surrounded by vineyards, houses with wooden frames and lush rose gardens, its narrow streets lead to a promenade with rows of plane trees with benches in front of them, and the view disappears off towards the boats, which slowly move down the river. Within a moment, I wished I could stay here...

DESETEROSTRUKA DRŽAVNA PRVAKINJA U BICIKLIZMU OVA MLADA SPORTISTKINJA SAMA JE REPREZENTACIJU BOSNE I HERCEGOVINE PLASIRALA NA 38. MJESTO NA SVIJETU Autor: Samila Ivković O uspjesima koje je postigla 24-godišnja biciklistkinja Lejla Tanović, najbolje govori činjenica da je deset puta osvojila titulu prvakinje države, te da je prva biciklistkinja iz BiH koja je potpisala profesionalni ugovor u ovom sportu. Ova mlada magistrica prava biciklizmom se počela baviti 2011. godine, a iste godine je osvojila međunarodnu utrku koja se održavala na Čavljaku. - Moj trener Amar Njemčević odmah je primijetio da imam veliki potencijal da napravim uspjeh u brdskom biciklizmu, a ja sam to primijetila tek kada sam počela da nastupam na utrkama Svjetske biciklističke federacije - UCI utrkama. Moj najveći motiv je ljubav prema ovom sportu, ali i napredak koji ostvarujem svake godine. Jako sam sretna što iz godine u godinu ostvarujem sve bolje rezultate. Pozitivnu sliku o svojoj zemlji Lejla širi osvajajući medalje svuda po svijetu, a prije nekoliko dana medijski naslovi bili su oplemenjeni Lejlinim uspjehom na UCI C1 utrci u Hrvatskoj, gdje je osvojila drugo mjesto. Dobrim rezultatima se nikako ne zanosi, već se vrijedno sprema za nova takmičenja. - Za nekoliko dana nastupam na 116

Svjetskom kupu u Njemačkoj, a nakon toga na Svjetskom kupu u Češkoj. Radi se o najbitnijim utrkama na kojima ću nastupiti ove sezone, a nastupit ću na ukupno šest svjetskih kupova.

Za mene je savršen trening koji provedem u prirodi i istražujem nove biciklističke staze. Nažalost, takvih treninga imam najmanje jer sam obično ograničena dužinom treninga i programom koji imam za taj dan.

Sretna sam što sam baš baveći se sportom uspjela da mnogo putujem i doživim nevjerovatna iskustva koja bi mnogo teže doživjela da se nisam bavila sportom - Mislim da ta želja mora postojati u nekoj osobi, kao što sam je ja imala. Sreća je što sada djevojke znaju da postoji način da se ostvari uspjeh u ovom sportu, pa možda samim tim dobiju i više hrabrosti da pokušaju.

- U zimskom periodu su treninzi najduži i traju od 3 do 5 sati dnevno, tako da nekada sedmično imam i preko 20 sati treninga. Ljeti treninzi mnogo više liče naporima koje imam na utrci, jako su intenzivni i malo kraći nego u zimskom periodu.

MAGISTRICA PRAVA Povrede su sastavni dio svakog profesionalnog sporta, pa su one u brdskom biciklizmu vrlo česte i nerijetko jako teške, no Lejla je naučila kako da se nosi s njima.

- Imam veliku podršku svoje porodice i trenera kada je u pitanju oporavak od povreda i to mi je zaista svaki put olakšalo da se vratim takmičenju. Mislim da i meni bliskim ljudima ne bude jednostavno gledati moje utrke, ali da se s time nose jako dobro. I oni su mnogo truda i rada uložili kako bih ja napravila što bolji rezultat i slijedila svoje snove. U BiH ima mnogo mladih djevojaka koje bi se željele profesionalno baviti biciklizmom, no za taj korak, kaže Lejla, treba malo hrabrosti.

Uz to što je najbolja bh. biciklistkinja, Lejla je i magistrica prava. Priznaje da bi se voljela baviti advokaturom, no nije sigurna hoće li život zaista i odvesti u tom smjeru. Kada nema takmičenja i ne trenira, Lejla voli da putuje i istražuje nova mjesta. - Sretna sam što sam baš baveći se sportom uspjela da mnogo putujem i doživim nevjerovatna iskustva koja bi mnogo teže doživjela da se nisam bavila sportom. U posljednje vrijeme čitam mnogo knjiga za koje nisam imala vremena dok sam studirala i učim španski jezik, budući da sam potpisala novi ugovor s timom iz Španije.

Lejla spreads a positive image of her country by winning medals all over the world, and several days ago, media headlines were full of Lejla’s success at the UCI C1 race in Croatia, where she won second place. SNAŽNIJI MIŠIĆI Tokom plivanja aktiviraju nam se skoro svi mišići, a time se pojačava njihova snaga. Osobe koje pate od bolnih zglobova ili artritisa mogu slobodno vježbati u vodi, što će im mnogo koristiti. Plivanje smanjuje depresiju i poboljšava raspoloženje, a svakodnevna jednosatna šetnja djeluje kao antidepresiv, te pozitivno utječe na tjelesnu težinu i metabolizam.

MANJE STRESA Lijepo vrijeme, a posebno ljetni odmor, većini nas otvara novu perspektivu i motivaciju da se posvetimo svojim ciljevima. Još jedna efikasna stvar za rješavanje stresa i depresije su sunčeve zrake, a posebno one u jutarnjim i kasnim popodnevnim satima. Na godišnjem odmoru pronalazimo vrijeme za šetnju, pa je tako najbolje da se u šetnju uputite s nekim čije vam društvo prija, jer ovo povećava nivo hormona ljubavi u mozgu.

Swimming is good for depression and elevates mood, and a daily one-hour walk is like an antidepressant, with a positive influence on weight and metabolism.

LESS STRESS Nice weather, and especially summer holidays, give most of us a new perspective and motivation to dedicate ourselves to our goals. Another efficient way for getting rid of stress and depression is exposure to sun rays, especially the ones in morning and late afternoon hours. During holidays, we find time to go on walks, so it is best to go for a walk with someone whose company you enjoy, as this raises the level of the love hormone in the brain.

MORE VITAMINS During summer, we eat strawberries, berries, peaches, watermelons... and other fresh fruit, a lot more than during other seasons. Apart from being very tasty, fruit is also very healthy, full of antioxidants and vitamins, and it has very few calories. Ruža đulberšećerka ĐULBEŠEĆERKA JE VELIKA, MIRISNA RUŽA SVIJETLOROZE BOJE KOJU JE NEKAD IMALA SVAKA AVLIJA. OD NJE SE PRAVILO SLATKO, KOLAČI, SOKOVI… DONOSIMO NEKOLIKO RECEPATA ZA OVE, SKORO ZABORAVLJENE, SLASTICE. NAJBOLJE JE KORISTITI SVJEŽE RUŽE IZ SOPSTVENE BAŠTE.

ĐUL-ŠERBE Sastojci: 250 g cvjetova ruže 2,5 kg šećera 2,5 l vode 2 limuntosa Priprema: Latice ruže operite i odvojite od peteljki, stavite u velike tegle. Dodajte dva limuntosa i prelijte vodom. Tegle poklopite tacnom za kafu ili folijom, nikako ih nemojte zatvarati hermetički. Tegle ostavite da stoji na sunčanom mjestu desetak dana, dok voda ne postane roze boje, a latice potpuno izgube svoju boju. Dobijeni sok procijedite i dodajte šećer. Kada se šećer potpuno istopi sok naspite u flaše i dobro zatvorite. To što ste dobili je sirup soka od ruže koji ćete razblažite s vodom i služite uz par kriški limuna i par kockica leda. Ovako spremljen može stajati na hladnom i mračnom mjestu ili u frižideru nekoliko mjeseci. Dio soka možete nasuti u plastične flašice i zalediti. 122

SLADOLED OD RUŽE

Sastojci: 100 g ružinih latica 1 kg šećera 1 l vode 1/2 kesice limuntosa

Sastojci: 2 šake latica od ruža 7 dcl mlijeka 250 g šećera u prahu malo cimeta 8 žumanjaka

Priprema: Odvojite od cvijeta i lagano operite zdrave ružine latice, te ih nožem usitnite. Pustite litar vode da provri, pa ubacite ruže unutra. Nemojte se iznenaditi, ruže neće izgledati lijepo, ali će i dalje zanosno mirisati. Nakon 15 minuta kuhanja, dodajte šećer i limuntos. Ruže će odmah dobiti ljubičastu boju. Nastavite miješati dok se slatko ne zgusne i s dna lonca se pojave mjehurići. Pokrijte ga vlažnom salvetom i pustite da se ohladi. Sipajte u suhe i hladne tegle.

Priprema: U prokuhano mlijeko dodajte prethodno oprane ružine latice. Kuhajte par minuta, pa procijedite i u mlijeko dodajte šećer i cimet, te kuhajte dok se mlijeko malo ne zgusne. Skinite mlijeko s vatre i ohladite ga. Dodajite jedno po jedno žumance i lagano miješajte žicom, te vratite na vatru dok ne zavri, a onda smjesu prespite u drugu posudu i stalno miješajte dok se ne ohladi. Po želji u sladoled se može dodati par kapi crvene boje, kako bi dobili rozu boju.

Đulberšećerka Rose ĐULBEŠEĆERKA IS A LARGE, FRAGRANT ROSE, LIGHT PINK IN COLOR, WHICH USED TO DECORATE EVERY COURTYARD. IT IS USED TO MAKE JAM, CAKES, JUICES… WE BRING YOU SEVERAL RECIPES FOR THESE ALMOST FORGOTTEN DELICACIES. IT IS BEST TO USE FRESH ROSES FROM YOUR OWN GARDEN. ĐUL-ŠERBE Ingredients: 250 g rose flowers 2.5 kg sugar 2.5 l water 2 sachets citric acid Directions: Wash rose flowers and separate from peduncles, place in large jars. Add two sachets citric acid and pour water over it. Cover jars with a coffee tray or foil, but do not cover hermetically. Leave jars in sunny spot for ten days, until water turns pink, and petals lose their color completely. Strain juice and add sugar. When sugar has melted completely, pour juice into bottles and close well. What you now have is a rose syrup juice, which gets diluted with water and served with several slices of lemon and several ice cubes. Prepared like this, it can sit in a cold and dark place or in the fridge for a few months. You can pour a part of the juice into plastic bottles and freeze.

ROSE JAM

ROSE ICE CREAM

Ingredients: 100 g rose petals 1 kg sugar 1 l water 1/2 sachet citric acid

Ingredients: 2 fistfuls rose petals 7 dcl milk 250 g powdered sugar pinch of cinnamon 8 egg yolks

Directions: Separate petals from flower and gently wash rose petals, and chop up with a knife. Boil a liter of water, and add chopped-up rose petals. Do not be surprised, the roses will not look nice, but they will still smell fragrant. After cooking for 15 minutes, add sugar and citric acid. Roses will immediately become purple. Continue mixing until jam becomes more solid and bubbles form at the bottom of the pot. Cover with wet napkin and allow to cool. Pour into dry and cold jars.

Directions: Add (washed) rose petals to boiled milk. Cook for several minutes, strain and add sugar and cinnamon to milk, and cook until milk becomes slightly firm. Remove milk from cooktop and cool. Add egg yolks one by one and gently stir with a whisk, return to cookpot until it boils, then pour contents into another dish and mix constantly until it cools. You may add several red drops to ice cream, in order to get a pink color (optional). 123
