COURSE DESCRIPTIONS LIBR 112: Information Literacy – Locate This is a one-credit course focusing on finding information. It teaches skills necessary to determine what information is needed along with search strategies. 1 credit LIBR 113: Information Literacy – Evaluate This is a one-credit course focusing on information evaluation. It teaches skills necessary to determine what information is needed along with source quality criteria. 1 credit LIBR 114: Information Literacy – Use This is a one-credit course focusing on understanding and utilizing a variety of information sources and formats. It teaches skills necessary to determine what information is needed along with effective and ethical usage. 1 credit
