Consell Assessor per al Desenvolupament Sostenible

The Advisory Council for the Sustainable Development (CADS) is the participation, consultation and advisory body of the Government of Catalonia in relation to sustainable development. The CADS is an interlocutor among the Government, the expert knowledge and the need of the catalan society, with the goal to promote the sustainability culture. Created in 1998, it has functional autonomy in order to guarantee its impartiality and independence. The CADS is integrated by 15 Council members, chaired by the President of the Council, all of them prestigious experts from different disciplines. A Secretariat provides technical support.
