Sylvie Mangaud è una scultrice francese, nata nel 1961, con sede a Parigi. La sua arte ha sempre tratto ispirazione da un acuto senso di osservazione. Memorizza i movimenti, cattura le emozioni e l’istante. Ha iniziato la sua carriera come fotografa e ha fondato la sua agenzia fotografica. Nel frattempo ha intrapreso studi di grafologia e morfologia, cercando di ampliare la sua conoscenza del comportamento umano e del linguaggio del corpo. Questo l’ha portata prima al disegno, poi alla scultura, dal 1991. Da allora Sylvie ha migliorato le sue abilità uniche e sensibili attraverso l’asservimento impegnato della natura, la sua principale fonte di ispirazione. Her art has always drawn inspiration from a keen sense of observation. She memarIzes movements, captures emotions and catches the instant. She began her career as a photographer and founded her own photography agency. In the meantime, she undertook studies in graphology and morphology, seeking to expand her knowledge of humain behaviour and body language. This led her first to drawing, then to sculpture, from 1991. Sylvie has since been improving her unique and sensitive skills through the committed abservation of nature, her major source of inspiration. While riding ar hiking, she observes animals in their natural habitat, studying at length their moves and expressions, before reproducing the scenes in the studio, This leads to her unique artistic signature: all of her bronze works convey a deep sense of time suspension, along with the elegant, airy sensuality which characterizes her style
