ARTURO ELENA Arturo Elena iniziò a lavorare nei primi anni ‘80 come assistente designer a Barcellona, disegnando ​​ collezioni di abbigliamento per uomo e donna per marchi come Bambú e Daniel G. Successivamente si trasferì a Siviglia e continuò a lavorare come stilista di moda. A quel tempo ricevette la sua prima commissione come illustratore di moda dai designer Victorio & Lucchino, con i quali continuò a collaborare a progetti grafici negli anni seguenti. Nel 1992, Victorio & Lucchino commissionarono ad Arturo di illustrare le cartelle dei comunicati stampa per la loro prima sfilata di moda nella Pasarela de Moda Cibeles di Madrid (ora chiamata Mercedes Benz Madrid Fashion Week) e per il lancio del loro primo profumo. Questi lavori, visti dalla stampa di moda, gli hanno permesso di essere riconosciuto come illustratore e, da quel momento, ha smesso di lavorare come stilista per dedicarsi esclusivamente ad essere un illustratore di moda. Arturo ha collaborato con designer e marchi come Loewe, Chanel España, Roberto Verino, Lemoniez, Inditex, L’Oreal Paris, Carrera y Carrera, Audemars Piguet, The Extrème Collection, Tejidos Rafael Matías, Benetton e Custo Barcelona, ​​tra gli altri.

Arturo Elena began working in the early 1980’s as an assistant designer in Barcelona, designing clothing collections for men and women for brands including Bambú and Daniel G. Later on he moved to Sevilla and continued working as a fashion designer. At that time he received his first commission as a fashion illustrator from designers Victorio & Lucchino, with whom he continued collaborating in graphic projects in the years that followed. In 1992, Victorio & Lucchino commissioned Arturo to illustrate the press release folders for their first fashion show in the Pasarela de Moda Cibeles in Madrid (now called Mercedes Benz Madrid Fashion Week), and for the launch of their first perfume. These works, seen by the fashion press enabled him to be recognised as an illustrator and from that moment, he stopped working as fashion designer in order to dedicate himself exclusively to being a fashion illustrator.
