love this time of the year in Arizona, when the days are warm and the evenings cool. The monsoon season is also officially over!
Mark and I were quite busy last month attending many AZPCA social events. Don’t worry there are still more events to participate in. Just make sure to sign up! We have a new returning sponsor in Going Places. McIlvain Motors, who has been serving Arizona since 1919. The owner is also AZPCA’s Technical Chair, Scott McIlvain. Welcome back. Look what I received in the mail from PCA National, our award for winning 3rd place in Class V, in the 2021 National Newsletter Contest! I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to write stories/articles and take pictures at our AZPCA events for Going Places, because without your participation there would be no monthly newsletter/magazine. I am looking for an Assistant Editor for Going Places. If you are interested send me an email at: gpeditor@az.pca.org This month the winner for the Writer’s Monthly Award for Going Places is Kenneth Mitchell for contributing “Autocross Season Is Back.” He will receive a $30. credit on MotorsportReg, which is good for one year to use on any AZPCA activity.
