Is there a time limit for each hole or each round? 打一洞或一輪有沒有時限？ There are no rules regarding the time limit for each hole or each round. However, the rules official or tour official can set up the rules for a golf club or tournament. According to golf etiquette, the slower group of players on a course will invite the faster group behind them to play through if they fall more than one hole behind the group in front. Alternatively, the course marshal might ask them to skip a hole in order to keep up with the pace. However, players cannot skip a hole in tournaments. Once they fall far behind, the tour official will start noting the pace of play of the group members. Are the sizes of golf holes around the world consistent? 所有球場的球洞都是大小相同嗎？ Golf balls were originally of random sizes. In 1891, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews (R&A) standardised the diameter of golf holes around the world. The standard size of 4.25 inches in diameter could be dated back to 1829. Musselburgh, a golf course in Edinburgh invented the first hole-cutter with a diameter of 4.25 inches. R&A decided to follow the size of the hole-cutter. Since then, 4.25 inches has become the standard diameter of golf holes. 最早期的球洞沒有規定大小，直到 1891 年，英國皇家高爾夫協會 (R&A) 決定要統一全世界的球場，把 球洞大小規定在 4.25 英寸。為什麼會是 4.25 英寸呢？早於 1829 年，愛丁堡的 Musselburgh 球場發明 了第一個高爾夫打洞器，打洞器的直徑正好是 4.25 英寸，R&A 就以此作為標準，一直沿用至今。
Why is a standard golf course comprised of 18 holes? 為什麼標準球場都有 18 個洞？ An interesting explanation is that the Scottish always brought along a bottle of whisky when playing golf in winter. Players would take a shot of whisky to warm the body before teeing off. A bottle of whisky is divisible by eighteen shots. An empty bottle was often left behind after eighteen holes when players finished and returned home. Since then, people were used to playing eighteen holes for a round. Another explanation is that there were originally eleven holes at St Andrews. Later, four of the holes were combined to become two holes. People played the nine holes twice as a round. Are there rules for driving golf carts on a course? 高爾夫球車可以行駛球場的哪些範圍？ The rules at every course are different. Normally, the cart rules are written on the scorecard or posted in the clubhouse or next to the first tee. If you are not clear about the rules, you should only drive your cart on the cart path. The path only rule and 90-degree rule are the most common cart rules. The 90-degree rule allows player to drive the cart on both the cart path and fairway only when players follows strict instructions. In order to reduce the damage to the course, the cart must stay on the path until it reaches the shortest distance to the ball (i.e. parallel with the ball). Born in China, Michelle came from humble beginnings travelling all the way to Scotland and then full circle back to Asia to a small quiet village in the New Territories of Hong Kong to begin her next chapter in an eventful life with undoubtedly more to follow.

As they say “imitation is the highest form of flattery” and Elisabetta certainly continues to lead by example as a diverse innovative artist and as an inspiring woman too. Elisabetta hopes that people can understand more and more the fusion between art and wine and the intrinsic synergy between these two fine worlds. As her paintings age with time, the picture is constantly evolving before your eyes and so you will gradually experience something new every time. Whilst Elisabetta has undoubtedly introduced the world to a new art technique, rather than solely be remembered for this, she would like to be remembered as an “Artist of the Women” since being a woman herself she finds it more natural to represent the feelings and sensuality typical of the feminine side, indeed most of her wine paintings are portraits of real women. Despite being in her sixties, Elisabetta is still very much young at heart and feels that age is no constraint or obstacle. In fact just like wine, you get better with age and through life experiences you are able to express more deeply on the canvas to convey the full spectrum of emotions. As Elisabetta puts it “just like wine is to the pleasure of the senses, the best means to express this pleasure is through a woman’s soul”.
The Next Chapter The next chapter for Elisabetta is to continue pushing the boundaries of art and exploring different fields. Having been awarded The Italian Art Representative by the Friends of Art Foundations in Venezuela, South America, Elisabetta will continue to spread her unique style of EnoArte throughout the world and hopes to visit South East Asia once again following her recent visit to Hong Kong, where she performed live for a local TV station painting with real wine, which was a resounding success. Wine and art lovers alike will no doubt welcome Elisabetta with open arms.

The 8th Hong Kong Chinese Lady Golfers Association Championship 2013 第八屆香港華人女子高爾夫球錦標賽 2013 he 8th Hong Kong Chinese Lady Golfers Association Championship 2013 was held on 1112 December. There were sixty participants involved in the two-day event at The Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course where golfers were divided into two groups, ladies and evergreens. It is the only open competition in Hong Kong which accepts participants aged 12 or over. 14-year-old teenager Liu Lok In won the overall championship with a score of 165 after a sudden-death playoff. Li Wen Lin, a member of the Taiwan Professional Golf Association, was the guest of honour who presented the trophies to the winners and also shared her experiences. The event ended with a delightful lucky draw. 2013 年的香港華人女子高爾夫球錦標賽已經踏入第八屆，這是全港唯一同時可供 12 歲或以上女士參加的公開賽。12 月 11-12 日，一連兩日在西貢滘西洲公眾高爾夫球場舉行，賽事分女子組和長青組，各有兩個組別，共有 60 人參賽。 經過兩日的比賽，需經過加洞賽「突然死亡」後產生，最終由 14 歲的廖樂然以總成績 165 桿奪得全埸總冠軍。今年非 常榮幸邀請到台灣女子職業高爾夫球協會的會員李雯琳蒞臨頒獎，並分享她打球的心得和寶貴的經驗。頒獎後更舉行抽 獎，各人滿載而歸。

The Last Green of 2013 2013 年終賽事 CME Group Titleholders CME Group 年終冠軍盃 November 24, 2013 China’s Shanshan Feng outdueled a star-studded leaderboard at the season-ending CME Group Titleholders in Naples, Fla. for her third-career victory. Feng shot one of the low rounds of the day on Sunday with a bogey-free 6-under 66 to finish at 15-under 273, one shot ahead of American and third-round co-leader Gerina Piller. Feng takes home the Tour’s largest winner’s check this season with $700,000 and crossed the $4 million mark in career earnings. The win marks Feng’s second victory in her last four starts, and she finished the 2013 season on a string of solid performances. Her final four events included a win at the Reignwood LPGA Classic, runner-up at the Sime Darby Malaysia, a tie for eighth at the Mizuno Classic and a win this week in Naples. Feng clinched her second win of the season, a goal she set at the beginning of 2013 and finally achieved at the very last event on the schedule. Hyundai China Ladies Open 現代汽車中國女子公開賽 December 13 2013 Jang Ha-na maintained the Korean stranglehold on the Hyundai China Ladies Open when she fired a final round 73 in stormy conditions to win the national championship in Guangdong province. Jang’s score of three-under 216, one stroke better than compatriots Kim Ha-neul (72), Kim Hye-youn (75) and Lee Jeong-eun (71,) marked the eight consecutive year a Korean has won the US$400,000 tournament, a jointsanctioned event between the China LPGA Tour and LPGA Tour of Korea.
