Marketing Strategy of ‘Floridy’ Every brand owns a special sales method, a good marketing strategy plays an essential role of improving sales volume and brand awareness. To be a new brand, ‘Floridy’ has its marketing strategy as well. In this essay, through introduced some details of ‘Floridy’, its marketing strategy which included advertisement strategy, talent show competition strategy, discount and membership card strategy will be followed. In my opinion, a new brand should take when develop in the marketing strategy is making sure that I have a strong understanding of my target audience. Without this, it is easy to create messaging that does not address the custom’s actual needs. This is a challenge of every new brand. Brand ‘Floridy’ comes from word ‘florid’, it means inclined to a healthy reddish color often associated with outdoor life, and it represents colorful and vivid things. Its logo’s main color are magenta and blue. In addition, a dark background stands out the these two colors brighter and more active. It also has a campaign to this brand: ‘Lovely girls, florid life.’ ‘Floridy’ target audience are young girls who age between 13 to 18. These girls usually like cute items and most of them have no salary. Their main financial resources come from their parents. Therefore, compare with other boutiques, products’ prices of ‘Floridy’ are cheaper. All of the products’s prices are between $8.99 to $29.99. I think most of them are able to pay money for these products. There are two main sale ways of ‘Floridy’, one is saling online, another is saling in a solid store. Both webpage and stores’ style are similar with their productions, and all the productions mark clearly the prices of the commodities. Going to the solid store buy some items and get a receipt directly. Obviously, solid store suit to the people who live not far from the store and pass by the store. Furthermore, people can log in and shopping on www. floridy .com.au. After filling in online shopping list and details, ‘Floridy’ staffs will post them to customs as soon as possible. The items will be packaged in a black carton with its special logo, on one side of the carton, buyer’s details and order number will be printed there.

They are good news communication tool and the most important point is they are free. ‘Floridy’ will create an account to add some young girls, after they saw the logo of ‘Floridy’ , they will click its homepage, then, they can see diverse productions with bright color, and online shopping webpage is beside those productions. In addition, ‘Floridy’ will hold an competition about talent show of teenagers. To be the sponsor, ‘Floridy’ will provide show area, drinks, publicity advertisement, certifications and prizes. Before this ‘Floridy Cup Teenager Talent show Competition’, teenagers who want to join the competition will be collected in different junior high schools. These teenagers should wear with ‘Floridy’s logo T-shirt, and winner can get some free ‘Floridy’ products. In other words, this competition is a way to advertise the now brand in teenagers. Branding is crucial for productions and services sold in hug consumer markets. It brings this brand competitive position and value proposition to life. Being a new brand, in order to promote consumption, ‘Floridy’ will give 5% to 10% off for all the products both in solid store and online shop. Those free advertising will notice young girls on Facebook and twitter. Furthermore, ‘Floridy’ devote itself to hold the clients as well. The top 200 customer can get free membership card. In conclusion, marketing strategy is necessary for a new brand. ‘Floridy’ is a young style brand and it target audience is younger girls. For business part, a good image can help it to get more profits; at the same time, the charity community will get more support funds. Floridy’s pattern is come from nature, it represents life and love. RSPCA charity stands for animals’s care and protection. They have the same original intention. Floridy Charity Design for RSPCA Home wares brand floridy will cooperate with animals charity community RSPCA. On the basis of cooperation requirement, floridy will design some products about animals charity and do a marketing campaign about it. through this way, floridy will set up a good public profile, and RSPCA will get more funds for animals protection. The main reason of why floridy cooperate with RSPCA is clear and simple. First of all, floridy’s main target audience is teenage girls. Most of these young girl love animals, set up them the awareness of animals protection is very necessary. Secondly, floridy’s products patterns are flowers and birds. The patterns represents vivid life. It similar with RSPCA’ campaign gist. Lastly, cooperated with RSPCA, both of them can get a win-win aspect. Floridy’s products’ design about animals protection will continue its traditional style: cute patterns and bright colors. Diverse birds are put into the top part of a sand glass. Moreover, There are a lot of bird bones piled up in the bottom of the sand glass. In this design, sand glass stands for two things: the time that has elapsed and a fate machine. These birds represents diverse animals. They have colorful further and vivid life. But some of them have a tragic fate. Maybe they are hunted by human beings, perhaps they become food on a dish. In addition, there is a line of words beside the sand glass with birds: “We can’t change time, but we can change their fate.” It explained the meaning of this campaign.(image 1) This design will be used on a poster, a web banner (image2), a T-shirt, a cushion and a shopping bag. Floridy’s logo and RSPCA’s logo will be printed on each of them. It is easy to understand the meaning of these products after looking these logos. The charity design poster will be used in bus stop banners(image3). The web banner of the same design will be used on floridy’s website, and other charity products (image4) will be sold on floridy’s webpage as well. Clicking the web banner, the charity page (image5) will open for audience. Obviously, all of profits of these productions will donate to RSPCA. In conclusion, floridy and RSPCA’s cooperation will get a win-win aspect. Both their business and Charity will success in the future.
