It’s Back—Project Plant-It Save the galaxy, plant a tree! The entire month of April is dedicated to you—earth’s defenders—who save the world. From Arbor Day to Earth Day, you can celebrate both by planting new trees and keeping our planet healthy. Both experienced earth defenders and new ones can join us in the fight for change. Join us for this council-wide service project this April to protect our planet Earth! Girls will earn a custom Project Plant-It patch to show how they changed the world. How do you earn the patch? It’s simple—plant a tree! While you can participate in this as an individual or as a troop, we recommend at least one tree for every five girls. After planting a tree, submit a photo to the Project Plant-It Report Form and your patch will be sent to the address provided. Project Plant-It will run the whole month of April, kicking off on April 1 and ending on April 30. So during the month of April, save the galaxy, plant a tree, and earn this patch!
