Foi com fluidez, luminosidade e integração que Adine Woda e Artur Jorge criaram o design de interiores desse apartamento de 109 m² de área, localizado em bairro nobre de São Paulo, SP. O estilo contemporâneo, com alguns elementos clássicos, orientou a retirada de paredes para integrar ambientes como cozinha, living e jantar, potencializando o hobby do proprietário de receber amigos. Sóbria e elegante, a paleta de cores sugerida explora tons de cinza e preto para acabamentos e parte do mobiliário, reservando tons vibrantes para acessórios e móveis estratégicos. “Por ser um apartamento de um jovem executivo solteiro optamos por piso cimentício na cor cinza, armários de cozinha pretos e outros elementos nessa cor e derivados, dando assim um perfil masculino ao apartamento” – endossam os profissionais. A diminuição na quantidade de paredes resultou também em excelentes condições de ventilação cruzada, assim como na obtenção de farta iluminação natural. Já o projeto de iluminação artificial, proveniente de fontes pontuais, sugere a criação de efeitos cênicos. Quanto à acústica, essa foi realizada com a aplicação de forros de gesso. O mobiliário foi escolhido seguindo critérios rigorosos de conforto e design, com algumas peças antigas remanescentes do acervo original do proprietário. It was with fluidity, luminosity and integration that Adine Woda and Artur Jorge created the interior design of this apartment with an area of 109 square meters, located in an upscale neighborhood of São Paulo, Brazil. The contemporary style, with some classical elements, directed the removal of walls to integrate ambiences such as kitchen, living and dining room, enhancing the owner’s hobby of entertaining friends. Sober and elegant, the suggested color palette explores shades of gray and black for finishes and part of the furniture, allowing vibrant colors for accessories and strategic pieces of furniture. “Since this apartment belongs to a young single executive, we’ve chosen a cement floor in the gray color, black kitchen cabinets and other elements in that same color and its derivatives, thus providing the apartment with a male profile” – the professionals state. The decrease in the number of walls also resulted in excellent conditions for crossventilation, as well as in obtaining abundant natural light. In its turn, the project of artificial lighting from point sources suggests the creation of scenic effects. As for acoustics, this was accomplished with the application of plaster ceilings. The furniture was selected following strict criteria of comfort and design, with some antiques that remained from the owner’s original collection. 12 |

Harmony, space and sophistication in the integration of the home theater, above, and the dining room, on the right, all arranged in the same space

Após 20 anos morando em uma casa ampla e confortável, a proprietária desse imóvel em São Paulo pretendia trazer a atmosfera de seu antigo lar para o design de interiores de seu novo apartamento. A arquiteta Alessandra Pires, do escritório A1 Arquitetura, foi a responsável por materializar tal desejo. No layout do imóvel de 280 m2, a varanda, com uma bela vista da cidade, está em posição de destaque, constituindo “um ponto focal, que potencializa a área de convívio da casa” – diz a arquiteta. Apropriando-se da rica iluminação e ventilação naturais, proporcionadas pelas grandes aberturas do imóvel, o projeto buscou criar ambientes elegantes, mas ao mesmo tempo suaves e descontraídos, favorecidos pela integração visual e física entre os espaços. Aliás, essa é uma das marcas dos projetos assinados pelo A1 Arquitetura. Na ambientação de atmosfera clean, a marcenaria é propositalmente marcante, além de resolver a organização dos ambientes, aquecendo e valorizando-os, está presente em móveis, painéis e revestimentos. Dinâmico, o projeto luminotécnico foi elaborado para criar circuitos diferenciados, como marcar a circulação, agregar possibilidades cênicas ou simplesmente cumprir a correta função de iluminar. Mas sem nunca abrir mão do bom gosto e sofisticação, como o elegante jogo de pendentes que pontua a sala de jantar. Sóbrio e confortável, o mobiliário foi composto de peças do acervo da cliente e itens garimpados pela arquiteta, resultando numa linguagem harmônica para o apartamento.

After 20 years living in a large and comfortable house, the owner of this property in São Paulo intended to bring the atmosphere of her old home to the interior design of her new apartment. The architect Alessandra Pires, of the A1 Arquitetura office, was responsible for materializing such desire. In the layout of the property with an area of 280 square meters, the terrace, with a beautiful view of the city, stands in a prominent position, being “a focal point, which enhances the communal area of the house” - says the architect. Taking advantage of the rich natural lighting and ventilation, provided by the large openings of the property, the project sought to create elegant but at the same time soothing and relaxed ambiences, favored by the visual and physical integration between the spaces. This is, by the way, one of the hallmarks of the projects signed by the A1 Arquitetura office. In the ambience with a clean atmosphere, the woodwork is intentionally striking. In addition to addressing the organization of the ambiences, warming and valuing them, it is present in the furniture, panels and liners. A dynamic lighting project was designed to create different circuits, such as marking the circulation, adding scenic possibilities or simply fulfill the proper function of illuminating – but never giving up good taste and sophistication, as in the elegant set of pendants that punctuates the dining room. Sober and comfortable, the furniture consisted of pieces from the customer’s collection and items discovered by the architect, resulting in a harmonic language for the apartment.

Residência Morumbi

A arquitetura de linhas clássicas da residência Morumbi, de 1.000 m², reverencia o tempo e o estilo de vida de seus proprietários que, à design Aline Cobra, solicitaram um projeto generoso em vãos e aberturas, repleto de espaços amplos e acabamentos sofisticados e atemporais. Na mesma sintonia, o projeto de interiores potencializa a sensação de aconchego através do uso de estampas florais, presentes em papéis de parede e tecidos naturais. Reforçada pela base neutra e elegante criada pelos materiais de acabamento, com destaque para os mármores, a atmosfera de perenidade sugerida para a ambientação criou o background perfeito para que obras de artistas como Di Cavalcanti, Menna Barreto, Vito Campanella, Otavio Araujo, figurassem com destaque. Para o mobiliário, embora prevaleçam peças clássicas, em dimensões generosas e finalizadas em tecidos como linho, seda e veludo, a arquiteta reservou um contraponto entre linguagens, intercalando pontualmente peças de desenho e formas limpas. O projeto de iluminação valoriza tais diferenças, através de fontes indiretas, embutidas no gesso, e lustres clássicos de cristal, que realçam o belo pé-direito do hall; além, é claro, da farta iluminação natural que invade praticamente todos os ambientes. 24 |

The architecture in classic lines of the Morumbi residence, with an area of 1000 square meters, reveres the time and lifestyle of its owners, who requested to the designer Aline Cobra a project generous in spans and openings, full of wide spaces and sophisticated and timeless finishes. On the same wavelength, the interior design enhances the feeling of warmth with the use of floral prints, present in paper walls and natural fabrics. Reinforced by the neutral and elegant base created by the finishing materials, especially the marbles, the atmosphere of permanence suggested for the ambience created the perfect background for emphasizing works by artists such as Di Cavalcanti, Menna Barreto, Vito Campanella, Otávio Araújo… For the furniture, in spite of the prevalence of classical pieces, in generous dimensions and finished in fabrics such as linen, silk and velvet, the architect reserved a counterpoint between languages, interspersing pieces of design and clean forms. The lighting design values these differences by means of indirect sources, embedded in the plaster, and classic crystal chandeliers, which enhance the beautiful ceiling height of the hall – in addition, of course, to the abundant natural light that penetrates virtually every ambience.

Com a prosperidade de seus negócios no concorrido mercado paulistano, o empresário curitibano, proprietário desse apartamento, resolveu abandonar de vez hotéis e flats e investir num espaço apenas seu. Os arquitetos Ana Lúcia Salama e Gerson Dutra de Sá foram os convidados para a criação do design de interiores do novo imóvel. Casado e com dois filhos, que também usufruirão do endereço em São Paulo, o empresário desejava uma ambientação pautada pela praticidade, conforto e funcionalidade. Para isso, em busca de áreas mais generosas, a solução proposta pelos arquitetos foi eliminar um dos quartos do apartamento, conquistando assim mais espaço para integrar os ambientes de estar, TV e jantar. Seguindo esse mesmo raciocínio de comunicação espacial, outra excelente solução foi integrar a cozinha e a sala de jantar por meio de generosas portas de correr, o que possibilita unir ou separar completamente os ambientes. Já o home office, espaço indispensável nos dias atuais, que foi instalado em área antes ocupada pelo dormitório de empregada, pode ser isolado ou integrado através de uma porta de vidro da Cinex. O projeto luminotécnico é pontual e sem exageros, com destaque para o rasgo em “L” na área de estar, no qual utilizou-se uma fita de LED. Entre os materiais e móveis utilizados a harmonia é total, e valorizam cada detalhe para o apartamento de 120 m2. Due to the prosperity of his business in the competitive market in São Paulo, the businessman born in Curitiba, owner of the apartment, decided to abandon hotels and flats once and for all, and invest in a space of his own. The architects Ana Lúcia Salama and Gerson Dutra de Sá were invited to create the interior design of the new property. Married and with two children, who will also enjoy the address in São Paulo, the businessman wanted a setting guided by practicality, comfort and functionality. To achieve it, in search of more generous areas, the solution proposed by the architects was to eliminate one of the bedrooms of the apartment, thus gaining more space to integrate the ambiences of the living, TV room and dining room. Following this same reasoning of spatial communication, another great solution was to integrate the kitchen and the dining room by means of huge sliding doors, which allow the connection of or complete separation between the two ambiences. In its turn, the home office, an indispensable space nowadays, which was installed in an area previously occupied by the maid’s room, can be isolated or integrated by means of a Cinex glass door. The illumination project is timely and with no exaggeration, especially the streak in “L” in the living area, in which an LED strip was used. There is full harmony between the materials and furniture that were used, and every detail was valued in the 120 square meter apartment. 30 |

The creation of the atmosphere for the home theater, above, had wooden shutters and robust velvet curtains. On the right, natural light, art work and chandelier brought from the island of Murano, in Italy, complete the ambience of the dining room

Desfrutando do privilégio de propor ideias e soluções para um apartamento de 720 m2 de área, o desafio da arquiteta Ana Rita, da Ar Arquitetura e Design, era dar aconchego e sofisticação aos grandes cômodos do imóvel. Moderno e clean, o estilo adotado dispensou a ostentação para focar-se na construção de um conforto prático, fluido e elegante. As referências plásticas para a conceituação do projeto mixam o interesse da cliente pelo design moderno italiano a peças antigas, capazes de contar a história e de remeter a momentos que o casal de clientes costuma passar em países como França e Itália. Aliás, uma viagem à Itália com a cliente, feita exclusivamente para garimpar móveis e objetos, permitiu à arquiteta rechear o apartamento de peças realmente significantes. Materiais e acabamentos especiais, como tacos de madeira cumaru para a área íntima e perobinha (assentado em “escama de peixe”) para as sociais, além de mármores importados, são responsáveis pela personalidade agregada a cada ambiente. O imóvel generosamente favorecido pela iluminação natural, permitiu à arquiteta se concentrar no projeto luminotécnico, que, com o auxílio de recursos de automação, proporciona cenários especiais para cada tipo de uso dos ambientes. Já o mobiliário, essencialmente em linhas retas, é fruto das pesquisas da arquiteta e da sua cliente realizadas na Itália. “Cada peça de mobiliário tem um especial significado tanto para mim como para a cliente, pois estudamos exaustivamente todas as possibilidades antes de trazer as peças para o Brasil” – confirma Ana Rita.

Enjoying the privilege of proposing ideas and solutions for an apartment with an area of 720 square meters, the challenge for the architect Ana Rita, of the Ar Arquitetura e Design office, was to provide warmth and sophistication to the ample rooms of the property. Modern and clean, the adopted style dismissed ostentation to focus on building a practical, fluid and elegant comfort. The plastic references for the conceptualization of the project mix the interest of the client in the modern Italian design to antique pieces, able to tell the story and to refer to the periods of time that the customers used to spend in countries like France and Italy. As a matter of fact, a trip to Italy with the customer, made exclusively for hunting pieces of furniture and objects, allowed the architect to fill the apartment with really significant pieces. Special materials and finishes such as dowels in cumaru wood for the intimate area and perobinha (laid in “fish-scale” format) for the social ones, as well as imported marble, are responsible for the personality aggregated to each ambience. The property, generously endowed by natural light, allowed the architect to concentrate on the lighting design, which, with the aid of automation features, offers special scenarios for each type of use of the ambiences. In its turn, the furniture, mostly in straight lines, is the result of the research of the architect and her client, performed in Italy. “Every piece of furniture has a special meaning both for me and for the customer, because we studied all the possibilities thoroughly before bringing the pieces to Brazil” - confirms Ana Rita.

O partido arquitetônico da residência Vera Damy foi concebido a partir das características físicas do terreno, de esquina e localizado dentro de um condomínio fechado. Posicionamento estratégico que influenciou na criação de uma fachada orientada em duas direções. Internamente, “os ambientes foram divididos de acordo com a posição do norte em relação ao terreno. A área íntima foi separada da social e ambas aproveitam o sol da manhã”, explica a arquiteta Andrea Murao, autora do projeto. Na planta que totaliza 880 m² de área, os ambientes integrados, compostos por sala de estar, jantar, varandas e piscina, proporcionam uma grande área de lazer social, que tanto pode ser aproveitada durante o dia ou à noite. Já os quartos e o escritório foram instalados numa área verde privativa voltada para a rua lateral. Modernos e sofisticados, materiais como vidro, madeira e pedras naturais auxiliaram na conceituação do estilo contemporâneo desejado pelo casal de clientes. As cores claras e os tons neutros deram amplitude aos ambientes, conferindo uma atmosfera clean. O mobiliário é definido pela precisão e limpeza da linha reta, como boa parte dos de madeira, que, além de painéis e portas, levam a assinatura da arquiteta. Pontual e direcionada, a iluminação valoriza texturas, detalhes e, principalmente, as generosas dimensões da arquitetura.

The architectural project of the Vera Damy residence was designed based on the physical characteristics of the plot, on a corner and located within a gated community – a strategic positioning that influenced the creation of a front oriented in two directions. Internally, “the ambiences were divided according to the position of the north in relation to the plot. The intimate area was separated from the social one and both enjoy the morning sunlight, “explains the architect Andrea Murao, author of the project. In the blueprint, totaling an area of 880 square meters, the integrated ambiences, comprising by living room, dining room, terraces and pool, provide a great social recreation area, which can be used both during the day and night. In their turn, the bedrooms and office were installed in a private green area facing the side street. Modern and sophisticated materials such as glass, wood and natural stone helped in the conceptualization of the contemporary style desired by the couple owning the house. The light colors and neutral tones provided the ambiences with amplitude, which resulted in a clean atmosphere. The furniture is defined by the precision and cleanliness of the straight line, like much of the wooden pieces, which, in addition to panels and doors, bear the signature of the architect. Timely and targeted, the lighting enhances textures, details and, especially, the generous dimensions of the architecture.

O projeto de interiores para esse apartamento de 500 m² de área em São Paulo reuniu a experiência de três talentosas profissionais, as arquitetas, e sócias, Andrea Teixeira e Fernanda Negrelli, e a designer de interiores Maria Jeanne Nobre. Unidas e afinadas em conceitos e estilos, as profissionais não só conceberam um sofisticado e contemporâneo design de interiores, como conseguiram realizá-lo dentro de um exíguo cronograma. O layout formal, com poucos espaços integrados, afina-se ao estilo de vida do casal de clientes, que adora receber familiares e amigos, mas que não abre mão de ambientes e funções bem definidas – a planta de generosas dimensões permitiu ambas as finalidades. A sintonia perfeita entre os dois escritórios garantiu o máximo detalhamento exigido pelos clientes, que tiveram todos os seus desejos e necessidades minuciosamente realizados. A iluminação foi um desses itens, composta por focos direcionados para valorizar volumes, móveis, obras de arte e texturas. As grandes aberturas do apartamento permitem excelentes condições de ventilação natural, enquanto um eficiente sistema de ar-condicionado garante a artificial. Elegante e na medida certa, o mobiliário mescla o clássico ao contemporâneo, aproximando-se esteticamente das predileções dos usuários. 50 |

The interior design for this apartment with an area of 500 square meters in São Paulo brought together the experience of three talented professionals – the architects and partners Andrea Teixeira and Fernanda Negrelli, and the interior designer Maria Jeanne Noble. United and tuned in concepts and styles, these professionals not only devised a sophisticated and contemporary interior design, but also succeeded in executing it within an extremely scanty schedule. The formal layout, with few integrated spaces, is tuned to the lifestyle of the customer couple, who loves to entertain family and friends but does not give up well defined ambiences and functions - the blueprint of generous dimensions allowed both purposes. The perfect harmony between the two offices has ensured the maximum detail required by the customers, who had all their wishes and needs carefully met. The lighting was one of those items, consisting of directed spotlights in order to value volumes, furniture, artworks and textures. Large openings allow the apartment excellent conditions for natural ventilation, while an efficient air-conditioning system ensures the artificial one. Elegant and in the proper amount, the furniture blends classic and contemporary, approaching the aesthetic predilections of the users.

Dois ícones da paisagem urbana de Brasília, a beleza do Lago Paranoá e a imponência da ponte Juscelino Kubitschek, orientaram a arquitetura dessa residência, cujo projeto de interiores é assinado pela designer Beth Rosso. Os espaços voltados para a privilegiada vista, assim como a farta luz natural que invade praticamente todos os cômodos do imóvel de 900 m² de área, foram essenciais para a escolha dos acabamentos, que, em tons sóbrios e naturais, proporcionam condições ideais para estar e apreciar a paisagem. Além de aconchego e sofisticação, o projeto flui a atmosfera descontraída solicitada pelo proprietário, que também não abria mão de viver em um espaço elegante e ao mesmo tempo funcional e de fácil manutenção. As generosas dimensões dos ambientes, potencializadas, inclusive, por pédireito duplo nas áreas de convivência, foram elegantemente preenchidas por móveis selecionados na mesma paleta de cores dos acabamentos. A integração entre home theater, living e sala de jantar é marcada pelo conforto de móveis, cujas proporções, volumes e texturas facilitam o uso do espaço como um todo, ou separadamente. Entre rasgos e pontos de luz em locais estratégicos, o projeto luminotécnico se destaca pelo uso de fontes indiretas aliadas ao uso de lustres de cristal Two icons of the urban landscape of Brasília, the beauty of Lake Paranoá and the grandeur of the Juscelino Kubitschek Bridge guided the architecture of this house, whose interior design is signed by the designer Beth Rosso. The spaces facing the stunning view, as well as the abundant natural light that permeates almost every room in the building with an area of 900 square meters, were essential to the choice of finishes, which, in sober and natural tones, provide optimal conditions for living and enjoying the scenery. In addition to warmth and sophistication, the design provides the relaxed atmosphere requested by the owner, who also would not give up to live in a space that was elegant and, at the same time, functional and easy to maintain. The generous dimensions of the ambiences, enhanced by the double ceiling-height in the living areas, have been tastefully filled by selected furniture with finishes in the same color palette. The integration of the home theater, living and dining room is marked by the comfort of pieces of furniture, whose proportions, volumes and textures make easier the use of the space as a whole, or separately. Between light streaks and light points in strategic locations, the lighting project stands out by the use of indirect sources combined with the presence of crystal chandeliers.

Com a perfeita harmonia entre a arquitetura e a decoração dessa residência, localizada em São Paulo, SP, é quase impossível saber onde começa uma e termina a outra. A arquiteta Camila Valentini, que assina as alterações no imóvel e o design de interiores, exercitando suas predileções pelas formas gráficas e simétricas, criou uma comunicação entre materiais, texturas, formas e cores que, ao se contraporem, se completam. Como é o caso da robustez do concreto, que se torna suave e leve próximo à transparência do vidro, e de superfícies de espelhos que sugerem aberturas imaginárias em paredes opacas e solidamente pintadas de preto. Na planta de 600 m², distribuídos num pavimento térreo e num mezanino, a área social ocupa posição de destaque, cujo layout reúne living, ambiente de lareira e sala de jantar. Esse, aliás, é um dos espaços preferidos do proprietário, um jovem apresentador de TV que adora receber os amigos em casa. Entre as modificações empreendidas, que resultaram nessa configuração limpa e fluida, a arquiteta destaca a criação do mezanino, de uma escada, a ampliação da suíte máster, e a mudança de todos os acabamentos e pisos, priorizando a praticidade. With the perfect harmony between architecture and decoration in this residence, located in São Paulo, state of São Paulo, it is almost impossible to tell where one begins and the other ends. The architect Camila Valentini, who signs the alterations in the property and the interior design, exercising her predilections for graphic and symmetrical forms, created a communication between materials, textures, shapes and colors that, when opposed, complete each other. As is the case of the strength of concrete, which becomes softer and lighter near the transparency of glass and of mirrors surfaces that suggest imaginary openings in opaque walls, solidly painted in black. In the blueprint of 600 square meters, deployed on a ground floor and a mezzanine, the social area occupies a prominent position, whose layout combines living, fireplace lounge and dining room. This, by the way, is one of the favorite spots of the owner, a young TV host who loves to entertain friends at home. Among the modifications undertaken, which resulted in this clean and fluid configuration, the architect emphasizes the creation of the mezzanine and a staircase, the enlargement the master suite and the change of all the finishes and floor pavings, giving priority to practicality. 60 |

Um espaço que ao mesmo tempo representasse sossego e liberdade para um jovem casal e seus quatro filhos, que, após anos de viagem, resolveu fixar residência em Fortaleza, CE. Nas mãos do arquiteto Carlos Otávio essa solicitação foi o ponto de partida para empreender uma cuidadosa reforma no imóvel de 520 m², localizado num dos ícones arquitetônicos da capital cearense. Para realizar a tarefa de modernizar o apartamento, ponderando o valor do tempo, o arquiteto investiu na atualização dos materiais, priorizando os atemporais; além de pontuais, mas estratégicas, intervenções na planta original - ambos favorecidos pelo pé-direito de 3,20 metros. Assim, apostando em durabilidade, qualidade e sofisticação, conceitos que representam a própria filosofia da arquitetura que pratica, Carlos Otávio criou um espaço confortável para a família, com um excelente aproveitamento da área social e, especialmente, da varanda. O projeto luminotécnico desenvolvido para o apartamento, que mesmo sendo generosamente favorecido pela luz natural, contou com iluminação floss que destaca peças decorativas, e um lustre Baccarat, uma das primeiras exigências do cliente. Entre os desafios enfrentados para que tudo ficasse perfeito, estão as transformações realizadas na planta, que permitiram transferir pontos hidráulicos. O mobiliário de linhas retas é um dos responsáveis pela atmosfera contemporânea que predomina no ambiente. A space that would simultaneously express peace and freedom for a young couple and their four children, who, after years of traveling, decided to settle in Fortaleza, state of Ceará. In the hands of the architect Carlos Otávio, this request was the starting point to undertake a thorough renovation in the building with an area of 520 square meters, located in one of the architectural icons of Fortaleza. To accomplish the task of modernizing the flat, pondering the value of time, the architect invested in upgrading the materials, prioritizing the timeless ones – in addition to timely but strategic interventions in the original blueprint - both favored by the ceiling height of 3.20 m. Thus, focusing on durability, quality and sophistication, concepts that represent the very philosophy of the architecture he practices, Carlos Otávio created a comfortable space for the family, with an excellent use of the social area and, especially, of the terrace. The project of lighting developed for the apartment, which, despite being generously endowed by natural light, counted on Flos lighting that highlights decorative objects, and a Baccarat chandelier, one of the first requirements of the customer. Among the challenges that were faced so that everything resulted perfect, the transformations performed in the blueprint, which allowed the transference of hydraulic points, stand out. The furniture in straight lines is responsible for the contemporary atmosphere that prevails in the ambience. 66 |

As arquitetas Cristina Bezamat e Laura Bezamat, da Bezamat Arquitetura, são as responsáveis pelas transformações efetuadas nesse confortável apartamento para as temporadas no Brasil de um cliente estrangeiro. Com 344 m² de área, o apartamento é localizado na Praia do Flamengo, um dos bairros mais tradicionais do Rio de Janeiro. Favorecido pelas características arquitetônicas originais do imóvel, voltado para a privilegiada vista da Baía de Guanabara, o partido explora o potencial dos ambientes amplos, claros e integrados. O novo layout permitiu a criação de um home office e de uma sala de almoço, que de tão generosa possibilitou a instalação de uma adega para 200 garrafas; além de integrar-se a uma cozinha gourmet através de grandes portas de vidro. Outra solução de destaque foi a separação entre a suíte principal e o banheiro, feita estrategicamente de vidro, para que da banheira seja possível apreciar a linda vista. Em contrapartida à abundância da iluminação natural, que invade o apartamento durante o dia, as arquitetas investiram num requintado projeto luminotécnico e de automação, responsáveis pela criação de diferentes atmosferas e possibilidades de usos para cada ambiente. Obedecendo aos mesmos critérios de escolha dos materiais de acabamento – requinte e exclusividade –, foi especificado o mobiliário para o apartamento, com certa ênfase em peças exclusivas e contemporâneas. “A proposta de criar ambientes atemporais e que se identificassem com os ambientes frequentados pelo cliente que viaja muito também foram critérios importantes nas escolhas”, dizem as arquitetas. The architects Cristina Bezamat and Laura Bezamat, of the Bezamat Arquitetura office, are responsible for the transformations executed in this comfortable apartment so that a foreign customer could spend time in Brazil. With an area of 344 square meters, the apartment is located in Praia do Flamengo, one of the most traditional neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro. Another remarkable solution was the separation between the master bedroom and bathroom, made strategically in glass so that, from the bathtub, the user could enjoy the beautiful view. In contrast to the abundance of natural light, which invades the apartment during the day, the architects invested in an exquisite illumination and automation design, responsible for creating different atmospheres and possible uses for each ambience. Following the same criteria for the selection of finishing materials - refinement and exclusivity - the furniture for the apartment was specified, with a certain emphasis on unique and contemporary pieces. “The proposal to create environments that were timeless and identified with the ambiences frequented by the customer, who travels a lot, was also an important criterion in the choices,” say the architects. 72 |

O desafio do arquiteto David Guerra nesse projeto construído em Belo Horizonte, MG, era agregar demandas contemporâneas ao imóvel original dos anos 1980. Receber amigos, reunir familiares e celebrar a vida, hábitos típicos do estilo de vida contemporâneo, orientaram as alterações empreendidas na estrutura e no layout da residência. “Sendo uma casa que deveria se apresentar sempre aberta aos amigos, possibilitando as mais diversas formas de convívio, traz na decoração a intenção de conversar com essa busca de espaços integrados e confortáveis”, explica o arquiteto. Sem protocolos, o desenho aberto e fluido, proporcionou leveza e liberdade, além de acomodar objetos e obras de arte, atendendo a todas as expectativas do casal de clientes, que reside fora do Brasil. Após integrar espaços, alterar portas, janelas e coberturas, substituir acabamentos, recuperar estruturas, e renovar elétrica, hidráulica e iluminação, além de criar itens como ateliê, adega, cozinha gourmet, sauna, deque e piscina, o arquiteto entregou aos proprietários uma casa praticamente nova. Com 625 m² de área, a construção é marcada arquitetonicamente pela generosa integração do interior com o exterior, incluindo os jardins como elemento da decoração e tornando os ambientes mais arejados e iluminados. Em contraponto à estrutura da madeira, a maioria dos fechamentos e revestimentos é feita em tons claros e de materiais como o vidro. The challenge of the Architect David Guerra in this project built in Belo Horizonte, MG, was to aggregate contemporary demands to the 1980’s original property. Typical habits of contemporary lifestyle such as entertaining friends, gathering family and celebrating life have driven the modifications implemented on the structure and layout of the house. “As a house that should always feel open to friends allowing the most diverse forms of leisure, it brings with its decoration the intention to communicate its focus on integrated, comfortable spaces,” explains the Architect. The fluid, open design follows no existing protocols, delivering a feeling of lightness and freedom, in addition to accommodating art objects and works in order to meet all expectations of the client couple residing outside Brazil. The Architect delivered a virtually new house to the owners after integrating spaces, modifying doors, windows and roofs, replacing finishing, restoring structures, and renewing electrical, hydraulic and illumination installations, in addition to creating items such as a Studio, a Wine Cellar, a Gourmet Kitchen, a Sauna, a Deck and a Swimming Pool. 78 |

Em projeto conceito desenvolvido para mostra de decoração em São Paulo, a arquiteta Débora Aguiar inova em desenho, layout e princípios de sustentabilidade. Com 600 m² de área, o partido remete à arquitetura de um mirante, voltado para a paisagem urbana e envolvido pela natureza, proporcionando o equilíbrio perfeito entre meio ambiente e recursos tecnológicos. Com muito estilo e sofisticação, “a arquitetura sugere uma moradia completa que proporciona total integração dos ambientes e das áreas interna e externa, tendo a paisagem da cidade como pano de fundo”, explica Débora Aguiar. Tal ideia de completude inclui todos os ambientes indispensáveis para o bem-estar e o prazer do homem contemporâneo, como living, home theater, suíte, cozinha gourmet, home office e área de lazer com piscina. Como elemento de organização desses ambientes, uma imponente sibipiruna, espécie nativa da Mata Atlântica, foi assimilada pelo projeto. Em dia também com a acessibilidade, duas rampas suaves e alinhadas com a rua conduzem o visitante a um generoso e aconchegante terraço. Além do desenho da arquiteta, os móveis levam ainda as assinaturas de Christian Liaigre e Holly Hunt, empresa americana que escolheu a Casa do Mirante para estrear no Brasil. 86 |

In a concept design developed for São Paulo’s Decoration Show, the architect Débora Aguiar innovated in design, layout, and concepts of sustainability. With a total area of 600 m², the setting resembles the architecture of a viewpoint, focused on the urban landscape and evolved by nature, enabling the perfect balance between the environment and technological resources. With plenty of style and sophistication, “the architecture suggests a whole housing that enables full integration of spaces, including internal and external areas, having the city landscape as background”, explains Miss Aguiar. Such completeness sense includes all environments necessary for the welfare and delight of contemporary men, such as living room, home theater, suite, gourmet cuisine, home office, and recreation area with swimming pool. As part of the space organization, a grand Sibipiruna – species native to the Atlantic Rainforest, was assimilated by the project. Also regarding accessibility, two street-aligned gentle slopes conduct the visitor to a large, warm terrace. In addition to the architect’s design, the furniture still carry the signature of Christian Liaigre and Holly Hunt, American company that chose “Casa do Mirante” (the house of the viewpoint) to feature for the first time in Brazil.

A abordagem positiva e a experiência consolidada de Denise Monteiro transformaram o projeto de interiores desse apartamento de 45 m² de área em motivo de superação e reinvenção. Com criatividade e bom gosto, suas ferramentas de trabalho, a arquiteta conseguiu expandir as fronteiras exíguas do imóvel e incluir funcionalidade e organização como características marcantes do espaço. A atmosfera sóbria, construída com cores neutras e revestimentos práticos e leves, é um dos motes do desenho, pois funciona como artifício para ampliar o espaço e ao mesmo tempo destacar obras de arte e acessórios expressivos. A organização da planta priorizou a integração entre as áreas afins, como cozinha, jantar e estar, enquanto garantiu privacidade à suíte e ao home office / home theater. Amplamente favorecido pela iluminação natural, o apartamento recebeu um projeto luminotécnico pontual e bem distribuído, enfatizando obras de arte, estantes e nichos. A madeira e algumas fibras naturais, aplicadas como revestimentos, criaram o destaque ideal para o mobiliário, essencialmente em branco. The positive approach and consolidated experience of Denise Monteiro transformed the interior design of this apartment with an area of 45 square meters in grounds of resilience and reinvention. With creativity and good taste, which are her tools, the architect was able to expand the extremely scanty boundaries of the property and include confined functionality and organization as distinguishing characteristics of the space. The sober atmosphere, built with neutral and practical colors and light coatings, is one of the mottos of the design, since it functions as a mechanism to expand the space while highlighting expressive works of art and accessories. The organization of the blueprint prioritized the integration of related areas such as kitchen, dining and living, and guaranteed privacy to the suite and home office / home theater. Widely favored by natural lighting, the apartment received a timely and well distributed illumination project, emphasizing works of art, shelves and niches. The wood and some natural fibers, applied as coatings, created the ideal highlight for the furniture, mainly in the white color. 90 |

Prática e funcional, a residência Esplendore foi concebida para ser o refúgio de conforto e descontração de um jovem casal e seus filhos. Finalizado em cores neutras, o projeto de Denise Zuba encontrou na valorização da área de lazer o elemento principal de organização da planta de 750 m². Integrados entre si, praticamente todos os ambientes, como living, sala de jantar, lareira e cozinha gourmet, possuem comunicação direta com a área externa. Aliás, como diz a designer, “o principal objetivo era a integração e a comunicação entre as áreas externas e as sociais, aproveitando a beleza do jardim, a iluminação e a ventilação naturais, sem abrir mão do conforto e da privacidade”. Num jogo de mostra e esconde, a arquitetura, que externamente pouco revela, abre-se internamente com franqueza, abraçando com seus vãos, portas e janelas as áreas de convivência. O projeto de interiores empenhouse na construção de uma atmosfera moderna com detalhes rústicos e aconchegantes, cujo ápice está numa estampa floral aplicada na sala de jantar. “A estampa floral na parede foi usada para dar um aspecto mais descontraído e charmoso” – completa a profissional. Para a iluminação foi elaborado um mix de tecnologia e automação, o que permitiu programar diferentes ocasiões e cenas, priorizando a beleza e a sensação de bem-estar. Tapetes e revestimentos de parede auxiliam a acústica dos ambientes além de propiciar conforto. This apartment with an area of 430 square meters overlooks the city of São Paulo, inviting to tranquility. Practical and functional, the Esplendore residence was designed to be a refuge of comfort and relaxation for a young couple and their children. Finished in neutral colors, the design of Denise Zuba found in the valuation of the recreation area the main element of organization for the 750 square meter blueprint. Integrated to each other, virtually all ambiences, such as the living room, dining room, fireplace room and gourmet kitchen, have direct communication with the outside. As a matter of fact, as the designer says, “the main objective was the integration and communication between the external and social areas, taking advantage of the beauty of the garden and the natural lighting and ventilation, without sacrificing comfort and privacy.” In a game of show and hide, the architecture, which reveals little externally, internally opens frankly, embracing the living areas with its spans, doors and windows. The interior design was committed to building a modern atmosphere with rustic and cozy detailing, whose apex is applied in a floral print in the dining room. “The floral print on the wall was used to give a more relaxed and charming look” – the professional concludes. For the lighting, a mix of technology and automation was designed, which allowed the programming of different times and scenes, emphasizing the beauty and sense of well-being. Carpets and wall coverings help the acoustics of the environment and provide comfort as well. 96 |

Formas simples e linhas retas compõem a base modernista escolhida para esse apartamento de 350 m2 de área, localizado em São Paulo, SP. Concebido para um jovem casal com dois filhos, o projeto, assinado pelo arquiteto Diego Revollo, mescla elementos contemporâneos a peças de mobiliário italiano e a obras de arte, criando uma harmonia na composição. Os tons neutros e quentes, como o cinza, bege e marrom, são os prioritários na decoração dos ambientes, tornando-os sóbrios e agradáveis. Apropriando-se de uma base de mármore encontrada na área social original, Revollo utilizou a madeira, em variações de castanho, para criar um contraponto à pedra natural, valorizando ambas por suas características antagônicas. Sem excessos, as poucas peças de design que compõem o mobiliário evidenciam ainda mais a vanguarda modernista utilizada como base para o desenho do apartamento. Além de definir os móveis de design, a linha reta também é preponderante nos objetos e soluções que levam a assinatura do arquiteto, como estantes e painéis. A iluminação é um capítulo à parte: durante o dia as amplas aberturas do imóvel suprimem o uso de fontes artificiais; já à noite, fontes indiretas, provenientes de uma sanca em “L”, criam a atmosfera ideal para a sala de jantar, living, lounge e home theater. Elementos mais delicados, como os plafons da sala de jantar e o abajur anos 1970 do living, completam com refinamento o projeto luminotécnico.

Simple shapes and straight lines form the modernist basis chosen for this apartment with an area of 350 square meters, located in São Paulo, Brazil. Designed for a young couple with two children, the project signed by the architect Diego Revollo merges contemporary elements to Italian pieces of furniture and works of art, creating a harmonious composition. The warm neutral tones such as gray, beige and brown are the priority in the decoration of rooms, making them nice and sober. Taking advantage of a marble base found in the original social area, Revollo used wood, in variations of brown, to create a counterpoint to the natural stone, enhancing both of them due to their antagonistic characteristics. With no excesses, the few pieces of design that make the furniture show even more the modernist vanguard used as the basis for the design of the apartment. In addition to setting the design furniture, straight lines are also prominent in the objects and solutions that bring the signature of the architect, such as shelves and panels. Lighting is a separate chapter: during the day, the large openings of the property suppress the need for the use of artificial sources, whereas, at night, indirect sources, coming from the suspended ceiling in the shape of an “L”, create the right atmosphere for the dining room, living, lounge and home theater. More delicate elements, such as the ceiling rosette in the dining room and the lamp of the 1970s in the living room, complete the illumination design with refinement.

Residência de um jovem casal

O projeto dessa residência começou com o desafio de transformar uma antiga construção na casa dos sonhos de um jovem casal. Além da atualização da estrutura, iluminação natural e uma excelente área social para receber amigos eram algumas das solicitações feitas à Edgar Casagranda Arquitetura. Em 246 m² de área, distribuídos em três pavimentos, a empresa atendeu a todas essas demandas e ainda surpreendeu com a materialização de uma residência moderna e confortável. A atmosfera aconchegante e ao mesmo tempo moderna e sofisticada, que surge como resultado do design de interiores, foi literalmente construída a partir do uso de materiais e acabamentos de aspecto rústico, como madeiras e pedras, mas sem estigmatizá-la como tal. As amplas janelas de vidro do imóvel, definidas por esquadrias na cor branca, garantem tanto a ventilação cruzada, quanto excelentes condições de iluminação natural. Já o projeto luminotécnico priorizou abajures, lustres e fontes embutidas, permitindo destacar objetos e criar cenas específicas. De madeira, os revestimentos internos presentes no piso e no forro garantem uma boa acústica para a casa. Confortável, mas sem excessos, o mobiliário de desenho racional valoriza as grandes dimensões dos ambientes. The design of this residence began with the challenge of transforming an old building into the dream home of a young couple. In addition to the update of the structure, the natural lighting and an excellent social area for entertaining friends were some of the requests made to the Edgar Casagranda Arquitetura office. On an area of 246 square meters, distributed in three floors, the company met all these demands and added a surprise bonus with the materialization of a modern and comfortable residence. The cozy atmosphere and at the same time modern and sophisticated, arising as a result of the interior design, was literally built from the use of rustic looking materials and finishes, such as wood and stone, but without stigmatizing it as such. The large glass windows of the property, defined by frames in white, ensure both the cross ventilation and an excellent natural lighting. In its turn, the illumination project prioritized lamps, chandeliers and built-in light sources, allowing objects to be highlighted and specific scenarios to be created. The wooden indoor liners present on the floor and ceiling ensure good acoustics for the house. Comfortable, but not excessive, the rationally designed furniture values the ample dimensions of the ambiences. 108 |

Esse apartamento de 430 m² debruça-se sobre a cidade de São Paulo, convidando à contemplação da paisagem urbana. Para deixá-lo perfeito para essa finalidade, assim como para os momentos em família e entre amigos do casal de clientes e seus dois filhos, as arquitetas Flávia e Eliana Marques Lisboa foram convidadas a desenvolverem o projeto ideal. Na criteriosa leitura que fizeram do espaço, as profissionais apostaram na integração total dos ambientes que compõem a área social como melhor opção para potencializar os momentos de convivência entre os usuários. Para atingir tal meta e ainda unir as varandas ao living, paredes vieram abaixo e vigas foram camufladas. Entre as mudanças estruturais, além da integração da área social, Flávia e Eliana destacam a adega de vidro instalada sob rebaixo de gesso e apoiada em um pilar de limestone. “A adega dividiu o living e a sala de jantar, disfarçando o enorme pilar restante e as vigas de diversas alturas” – completam. Sofisticada e contemporânea, a atmosfera da ambientação foi construída com materiais modernos e ao mesmo tempo atemporais marcada por tons naturais e por recursos de automação residencial – desenvolvidos em parcerias com a Homesystems. Além do conforto, a solução das cortinas executadas pela Uniflex e a seleção do mobiliário priorizaram a harmonia e a exclusividade. This apartment with an area of 430 square meters overlooks the city of São Paulo, inviting to the contemplation of the urban landscape. To make it perfect for this purpose, as well as for the moments with family and friends of the customers – a couple and their two children –, the architects Flávia and Eliana Marques Lisboa were invited to develop the optimal design. By carefully reading the available space, the professionals bet in the full integration of the ambiences that make up the social area as the best option to maximize the moments of interaction among the users. To achieve this goal and also join the balconies to the living room, walls were demolished and beams were camouflaged. Among the structural changes, in addition to the integration of the social area, Flávia and Eliana emphasize the glass cellar installed under a suspended ceiling in plaster and supported by a limestone pillar. “The cellar divided the living and dining room, concealing the huge remaining pillar and the beams of different heights” – they complete. Sophisticated and contemporary, the atmosphere of the setting was built with materials that are modern and timeless at the same time, marked by natural tones and home automation features - developed in partnership with the Homesystems company. In addition to the comfort, the solution of the curtains executed by Uniflex and the furniture selection prioritized harmony and exclusivity. 114 |

A reforma empreendida nesse apartamento de 400 m² de área, situado em bairro nobre da capital paulista, garantiu aos seus proprietários conforto e sofisticação desenhados sob medida. A arquiteta Eliane Sampaio, autora do projeto, investiu estrategicamente no aumento da área da suíte principal e numa integração espacial entre as áreas sociais e de convivência da família. A localização do apartamento, quase no topo do edifício e voltado para uma bela vista da cidade de São Paulo, permitiu que com tal integração todos os ambientes sociais tirassem proveito da beleza visual da paisagem. Com a base minuciosamente preparada, o projeto de interiores tirou partido da amplitude dos ambientes e das grandes aberturas que os unem. Ao mesmo tempo em que sugere continuidade entre os espaços, a madeira, presente em revestimentos e móveis, é responsável pela atmosfera sóbria que caracteriza o projeto. Essencialmente em tons pastel, o mobiliário reverencia o estilo de vida dos usuários, com uma leve inspiração retrô presente em alguns itens. O projeto luminotécnico foi composto por um sistema de automação responsável pela criação de diferentes cenários e por destacar objetos e obras de arte, como esculturas e gravuras. 122 |

The renovation undertaken in this apartment with an area of 400 square meters, located in an upscale neighborhood in the city of São Paulo, assured a tailored comfort and sophistication to the owners. The architect Eliane Sampaio, author of the project, strategically invested in increasing the area of the master suite and in a spatial integration between the social and the family interaction areas. The location of the apartment, almost on the top of the building and facing a beautiful view of the city of São Paulo, allowed, with such integration, all social ambiences to take advantage of the visual beauty of the landscape. With the base thoroughly prepared, the interior design took advantage of the range of ambiences and the large openings that connect them. While suggesting continuity between the spaces, wood, found in linings and pieces of furniture, is accountable for the sober atmosphere that characterizes the project. Essentially in pastel shades, the furniture reveres the users’ lifestyle, with a slight retro inspiration present in some items. The illumination project consisted of an automation system responsible for creating different scenarios and highlighting objects and works of art such as sculptures and engravings.

Analisando os hábitos, comportamentos e predileções do jovem casal de clientes, a arquiteta Emília Garcia chegou ao partido ideal para esse apartamento de 140 m² de área, localizado em São Paulo, SP. “Estudando o estilo de vida do casal, percebi que não utilizavam sala de jantar, enquanto priorizavam muito o living. Propondo dois ambientes confortáveis para receber familiares e amigos, projetei no terraço um ambiente mais descontraído para refeições”– completa a arquiteta. Aliando soluções espaciais às necessidades do cliente, que, dentre outras coisas, solicitou um home theater bem equipado, aconchegante e despojado, o projeto encontrou seu equilíbrio. Iluminada, com pinceladas de cor aqui e ali, a atmosfera elegante que prevalece na ambientação foi potencializada pela iluminação embutida no forro dry wall, cujas lâmpadas de diferentes cores e temperaturas permitem a criação de cenários e momentos especiais. Priorizando conforto e praticidade, a arquiteta selecionou materiais e revestimentos importados, como veludo de bambu para o living, e chenile e couro natural para o home theater. Quanto ao mobiliário, quase todos os projetados levam a assinatura da profissional. Looking at the habits, behaviors and predilections of the young couple of customers, the architect Emília Garcia achieved the optimal project for this apartment with an area of 140 square meters, located in São Paulo, state of São Paulo. “By studying the couple’s lifestyle, I realized they did not use the dining room and prioritized the living a lot. Proposing two comfortable ambiences to entertain relatives and friends, I designed in the terrace a more relaxed space for the meals”concludes the architect. Combining spatial solutions to the customer’s needs, who, among other things, had requested a well-equipped, cozy and stripped home theater, the project found its balance. Illuminated, with touches of color here and there, the elegant atmosphere that prevails in the setting was enhanced by the lighting built in the dry wall ceiling, whose bulbs in different colors and temperatures allow the creation of scenarios and special moments. Focusing on comfort and practicality, the architect selected imported materials and coatings, such as bamboo velvet for the living, and chenille and leather for the home theater. As for the furniture, almost all designed pieces carry the signature of the professional. 126 |

A arquitetura da casa, cuja planta atingiu os 813 m² de área, direcionou o projeto de interiores assinado pela designer Fabia Turchetti: “Uma decoração contemporânea, que respeita sempre a personalidade dos moradores” – define. Construído em um condomínio fechado em Campinas, SP, o projeto resultou na materialização dos desejos dos usuários em viver numa residência minuciosamente pensada para o convívio familiar. Um espaço gourmet e uma generosa área de lazer centralizam as constantes reuniões de amigos e familiares dos clientes, um casal de empresários com três filhos. Para valorizar e personalizar os grandes ambientes, Turchetti selecionou materiais que atendessem critérios de praticidade, conforto, qualidade e beleza estética. A iluminação aparece com destaque, criando diferentes planos de luz ao longo do dia, seja na captação da luminosidade natural, filtrada por persianas automatizadas, seja nos cenários criados com a luminotécnica bem trabalhada. Um projeto de automação gerencia vários dispositivos da casa, como ar-condicionado, iluminação, som ambiente e , inclusive, a abertura das persianas e toldos. No mobiliário, “para ter ambientes acolhedores e elegantes misturei materiais como espelho, vidro, madeira, fibra natural e tecidos nobres”– explica a designer. Quanto aos desafios, um aquário marinho, instalado entre living, lareira e sala de jantar, e uma adega no piso inferior da casa, foram convertidos em concorridos atrativos – especialmente à noite pela qualidade da iluminação. 132 |

The architecture of the house, whose blueprint covered an area of 813 square meters, directed the interior project signed by the designer Fábia Turchetti: “A contemporary decor, which always respects the personality of the dwellers” – she defines. Built in a gated community in Campinas, state of São Paulo, the project resulted in the materialization of the users’ desires to live in a residence meticulously designed for the family life. A gourmet area and a generous recreation area centralize the constant gathering of friends and relatives of the clients, a couple of entrepreneurs with three children. To enhance and customize the large ambiences, Turchetti selected materials that would meet the criteria of practicality, comfort, quality and aesthetic beauty. The lighting is featured prominently, creating different levels of light throughout the day, either in the capture of natural light, filtered through automated shutters, or on the scenarios created by the well crafted illumination. An automation project manages multiple devices in the house, such as the air conditioning, lighting, ambient music and even the opening of shutters and awnings. In the furniture, “to get cozy and elegant ambiences, I mixed materials such as mirrors, glass, wood, fine fabrics and natural fiber” - explains the designer. As for the challenges, a marine aquarium, installed between the living room, fireplace and dining room, and a cellar on the ground floor of the house have been converted into attractive features - especially at night due to the quality of the lighting.

Além da localização exclusiva - o concorrido condomínio Laranjeiras, em Paraty, RJ -, essa casa reuniu dois grandes nomes da arquitetura na sua execução: a arquiteta Fernanda Marques, que assina o design de interiores, e o escritório Bernardes & Jacobsen, responsável pela arquitetura. A linguagem contemporânea, comum às duas etapas do projeto, determinou um projeto repleto de grandes aberturas e luminosidade. Para os arquitetos, integrar as áreas interna e externa, fazendo da beleza da paisagem local elemento essencial à composição do projeto, foi uma das prioridades. Assim como propor uma criteriosa distribuição interna dos ambientes, caracterizada mais pela abundância de espaço, do que pelo excesso de objetos. Foi a fluidez, inclusive, o principal critério a orientar a distribuição do mobiliário pelos 950 m² de área construída da casa. Tal minimalismo encontra seu contraponto na exuberância da natureza, que não só penetra os ambientes, mas encontra plena continuidade nos interiores, pontuado por materiais como o limestone, presente nos pisos, e também da madeira, destaque nos móveis e esquadrias. “Coerente com essa concepção minimalista dos interiores, apenas esses dois materiais foram empregados nos revestimentos”- diz a arquiteta. Sem incorrer na obviedade do rústico, a arquiteta encontrou no alto design contemporâneo o ponto de equilíbrio para seu projeto. In addition to the exclusive location - the sought after Laranjeiras neighborhood in Paraty, state of Rio de Janeiro - this house has brought together two great names in architecture in its execution: the architect Fernanda Marques, who signs the interior design and the office Bernardes & Jacobsen, responsible for the architecture. The contemporary language, common to the two stages of the project, appointed a project full of large openings and a lot of light. For the architects, integrating the internal and external areas by making of the beauty of the local landscape a key element to the composition of the project, was one of the priorities – as well as to propose a thorough internal distribution of the ambiences, characterized by the abundance of space more than by the excess of objects. By the way, it was fluidity the main criterion to guide the distribution of the furniture over the 950 square meters of the house constructed area. Such minimalism finds its counterpoint in the exuberance of nature, which not only pervades the ambiences but finds a full continuity in the internal areas, punctuated by materials such as limestone, present on floors, and also wood, standing out in the furniture and frames. “Consistent with this minimalist interior concept, only these two materials were used as liners” - says the architect. Without incurring the obviousness of the rustic, the architect found on the high contemporary design the balance point for her project. 138 |

“O ponto de partida para esse projeto foi entender as características pessoais, anseios e expectativas de seus futuros moradores, de modo a conferir sua essência ao resultado final”– explica Flávia Roscoe sobre o design de interiores criado para esse apartamento em Belo Horizonte. Com essas informações em mãos, foi sugerido para o imóvel de generosas dimensões, um partido que integrasse ao máximo as áreas sociais, criando uma atmosfera ideal para a convivência e a integração familiar. Com marcenaria exclusiva assinada pela arquiteta, a área íntima, com escritório, home theater e quarto do casal, recebeu atenção especial no que se refere a conforto e personalidade de cada ambiente. A casa respira arte. Aliás, como diz a arquiteta: “O sucesso do projeto está na convivência entre arte e design sofisticado, elegância e requinte com uma atmosfera agradável e familiar, na qual os moradores se identificam e se sentem realmente em casa”. O mobiliário foi composto por peças provenientes do acervo do casal mescladas a outras adquiridas de forma criteriosa. Sejam objetos de arte ou decoração, a iluminação foi pensada para valorizar cada um deles, resultando numa ambientação suave e dinâmica, cujas opções de uso são controladas por um sofisticado sistema de automação. “The starting point for this project was to understand the personal characteristics, aspirations and expectations of its future residents, in order to give essence to the final result,” explained Flavia Roscoe regarding the interior design created for this apartment in Belo Horizonte, state of Minas Gerais. With this information in hand, a project that would integrate the social areas at the most, creating an ideal atmosphere for the conviviality and family integration, was suggested for that building of generous dimensions. With an exclusive woodwork signed by the architect, the intimate area, with office, home theater and master bedroom, has received special attention with regard to comfort and personality of each ambience. The house breathes art. As a matter of fact, as the architect says: “The success of the project resides in the harmony between sophisticated art and design, elegance and refinement with a pleasant, family atmosphere in which the residents identify themselves and feel really at home...” The furniture was composed by pieces from the couple’s collection mixed with other that were purchased wisely. With regard both to objects of art and decoration, the lighting was designed to add value to each one of them, resulting in a smooth and dynamic setting, whose use options are controlled by a sophisticated automation system. 144 |

O arquiteto Flávio Moura projetou tanto a arquitetura quanto o design de interiores dessa residência localizada em Feira de Santana, BA. Com todas as soluções pensadas desde a planta arquitetônica, o profissional pôde programar e atingir nos mínimos detalhes todos os objetivos estéticos e funcionais do empreendimento. “A proposta apresentada foi de uma casa ampla, confortável e contemporânea, de fácil circulação entre os ambientes, prevalecendo a integração na área social e a privacidade na íntima, situada no segundo piso”– endossa Moura. Destacada pela força e simplicidade da linha reta, a linguagem moderna do design proposto se beneficiou da beleza de materiais como espelho, vidro, aço e madeira, que tiveram suas texturas valorizadas pelo pé-direito duplo, nas áreas de convivência. As características reflexivas de materiais como espelho e vidro, entraram como agentes propagadores da iluminação natural. Já o projeto de iluminação artificial contou com fontes pontuais, direcionáveis e pendentes, na área social e de jantar, e rasgos de luz, garantindo a atmosfera perfeita nos quartos. O desenho limpo e racional do mobiliário, alguns inclusive de vidro, correlaciona-se com o estilo contemporâneo do arquiteto. 150 |

The architect Flávio Moura designed both the architecture and the interior design of this house located in Feira de Santana, state of Bahia. With all solutions designed from the very blueprint, the professional could plan and achieve in detail all the functional and aesthetic goals of the enterprise. “The proposal was a large, comfortable and contemporary house, with an easy circulation across the ambiences, in which integration would prevail in the social area and privacy in the intimate one, situated on the second floor” - observes Moura. Highlighted by the strength and simplicity of the straight line, the modern language of the proposed design has benefited from the beauty of materials such as mirror, glass, steel and wood, which had their textures valued by the double ceiling height in the living areas. The reflective characteristics of materials such as mirror and glass served as agents propagators of natural lighting. In its turn, the artificial lighting project counted on point sources, steerable and pending, in the social area and dining room, and streaks of light ensuring the perfect atmosphere in the bedrooms. The clean and rational design of the furniture, including some pieces in glass, correlates with the contemporary style of the architect.

A arquiteta Gislene Lopes elegeu a área de lazer privativa desse apartamento de 290 m² como mote principal do projeto de interiores, agregando atmosfera e características típicas de uma ampla e confortável construção térrea. “Com a área privativa integrada, conseguimos a sensação de amplitude que remete a uma casa. A ideia é que ao entrar o usuário possa sentir a área social como um todo”– diz a arquiteta sobre o imóvel construído em Belo Horizonte, MG. O todo, ao qual se refere Lopes, trata-se da integração que une sala de estar, jantar, bar, área externa e piscina. Agradáveis e sofisticados, como desejavam os usuários, os espaços tornaram-se locais ideais para a convivência entre familiares e amigos. Para enfatizar o ar clássico que prevalece no projeto, a iluminação foi composta por lustres e arandelas especiais, cujos efeitos superam os pontos direcionáveis e destacam volumes de luzes nos ambientes. Já a iluminação natural foi favorecida pela grande abertura existente na arquitetura do imóvel, sobre a qual camadas de cortinas dosam a luz conforme a demanda de cada espaço. Presentes tanto nos acabamentos, quanto nos móveis, os materiais utilizados, como madeira, vidro e pedras, agregaram um toque moderno, orgânico e atemporal ao layout final. The architect Gislene Lopes selected the private leisure area of the 290-m2 apartment as a key-theme for the interior design, adding both atmosphere and features typical of a large and comfortable ground-floor building. “The integration of the private area enabled us to deliver a sense of broadness that resembles a house. The idea was to make the user feel the social area as a single broad space when entering the setting,” says the architect about the property built in Belo Horizonte, MG. The single space Mrs. Lopes referred to corresponds to the integrated space that merges the living room, the dining room, the bar, the external area and the swimming pool. Pleasant and fancy, as users demanded, the rooms became perfect places for living among family and friends. To emphasize the classic air that prevails in the design, the lightening was composed of special lamps and sconces, whose effects exceed addressable point and highlight volumes of lights in the settings. The natural lightening was favored by the large opening forming the property’s architecture, over which layers of curtains control the light, according to the demand of each space. The material used for furniture and finishing – such as wood, glass and stones, add a modern, organic and timeless touch to the final layout. 156 |

Embora efêmera, a participação de um arquiteto numa mostra de decoração é avaliada, entre outras coisas, pelo caráter definitivo agregado ao ambiente projetado. E, além do bom gosto e sofisticação, essa é uma das qualidades presentes no projeto de Izilda Bortolini para a Casa Cor Campinas. Como numa generosa casa de campo, a sua sala de jantar está repleta de aberturas que a integram com a área verde externa, o que inunda o ambiente de iluminação natural e destaca o desenho aconchegante e fluido da arquiteta. Plasticamente, o projeto explora um contraponto entre o moderno, defendido pelas linhas retas, e o retrô, presente em móveis e acessórios. Essa fórmula de encontrar o equilíbrio através de diálogos antagônicos também está presente na escolha dos materiais utilizados, que versam entre o rústico e o sofisticado. A arquiteta ainda teve uma preocupação especial no que diz respeito à sustentabilidade, selecionando madeiras certificadas e de demolição, tecidos de fibras naturais, vidros e lareiras ecológicas. A iluminação aconchegante, além de ambientar a sala, destaca objetos e obras de arte. Although fleeting, the participation of an architect in a decoration show is evaluated, among other things, by the permanent character added to the designed ambience. And, in addition to the good taste and sophistication, this is one of the qualities present in the project of Izilda Bortolini for the Casa Cor Campinas exhibition. As in a large and welcoming country house, its dining room is full of openings that integrate it with the outside green area, which floods the environment with natural light and highlights the warm and fluid design of the architect. Plastically, the project explores the contrast between the concepts of modern, defended by the straight lines, and retro, present in the furniture and accessories. This formula of finding the balance by means of antagonistic dialogues is also present in the choice of the materials that have been used, which deal between the rustic and the sophisticated. The architect has had a particular concern with regard to sustainability, selecting certified wood and demolition waste, natural fiber fabrics, and green glass and fireplaces. The warm lighting, in addition to making the room cozy, highlights objects and works of art. 162 |

A área de 507 m2 é resultante da junção de dois apartamentos localizados de frente para a praia de Ipanema, no Rio de Janeiro, RJ. Assinado pelo arquiteto Miguel Pinto Guimarães, o projeto de arquitetura e de interiores propôs uma franca integração entre duas plantas completamente diferentes, uma localizada na frente e a outra na lateral do edifício. “O objetivo principal do projeto foi trabalhar os planos verticais, como os painéis de madeira que se interconectam em todos os ambientes e às vezes funcionam como divisórias, estantes, portas e painéis”– explica o arquiteto. Essa solução permitiu liberar o espaço central para a livre circulação e a presença minimizada de móveis, dos quais se destaca um enorme banco de mármore travertino com 10 metros de comprimento. As mudanças estruturais resultaram na conversão total da unidade frontal numa grande e integrada área social, com salas de estar, jantar, sala de TV e escritório, e da lateral nas áreas íntimas e de serviço. Valorizando a icônica paisagem carioca, o arquiteto aboliu o uso de cortinas e adotou painéis de madeira peroba-do-campo, o que aumentou a sensação de leveza e conforto da ambientação. “Estes painéis, instalados afastados da parede, geraram rodapés iluminados e rasgos também de iluminação indireta nas prateleiras e outros lugares estratégicos” completa o profissional. 507 m2 is the area resulting from the merging of two apartments facing Ipanema’s beach, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, RJ. Signed by the architect Miguel Pinto Guimarães, the architecture and interiors design suggest an open integration of two completely different plants, one located in the front and the other at the side of the building. “The key point of the project was to work the vertical planes, such as wooden panels interconnecting every room and sometimes working as division walls, shelves, doors and panels,” explains the architect. This approach enables an increase of central space for the sake of freecirculation and minimization of furniture across the place. Among the furniture, a huge travertine marble bench stands out, in its full 10m-long length. The structural changes resulted in the total conversion of the frontal unit into a big, integrated social space with living room, dining room, TV room and home office, and the side unit became the private and service areas. Treasuring the iconic landscape of Rio de Janeiro, the architect abolished the use of curtains and adopted panels made of peroba-do-campo wood, which increased the sense of lightness and comfort of the setting. “Those panels, fitted away from the walls, produced bright baseboards and traits of indirect lightening on the shelves and other strategic places,” adds the architect. 168 |

Obras de arte, móveis clássicos e antiguidades estavam entre os itens que delineavam o estilo de vida e estético do casal de clientes proprietário desse apartamento localizado em Goiânia, Go. Partindo deles e acrescentando seu know-how e sensibilidade, a arquiteta Patrícia Penna idealizou e projetou em 1.200 m² de área todos os espaços e cenários ideais para o bem-estar dos usuários, assim como para a recepção de familiares e amigos. Integrar as áreas sociais às varandas, e ambientá-las com a sofisticação e nobreza que requeriam, foi a solução encontrada para ampliar a área de convivência. Com sua atmosfera requintada e ao mesmo tempo fluida, o projeto recebeu mobiliário e soluções clássicas, indo de encontro às predileções estéticas dos clientes. Para sanar as restrições de iluminação natural, pelo fato do apartamento ter pele de vidro fumê, a arquiteta elaborou um minucioso projeto de luminotécnica, que permite o controle da luz e a criação de cenas especiais. Do repertório clássico, materiais nobres, como mármore e madeira, e tecidos, como linho, seda, veludo e algodão, entraram endossando o conforto da composição. Works of art, antiques and classic furniture were among the items outlining the lifestyle and aesthetic view of the couple of customers owning this apartment located in Goiânia, state of Goiás. Based on these items and adding her expertise and sensitivity, the architect Patrícia Penna conceived and designed, on an area of 1200 square meters, all spaces and scenarios that are just perfect for the users’ well-being, as well as for entertaining family and friends. Integrating the social areas to the terraces, and making of them the sophisticate and noble ambiences they were required to be, was the solution found to enlarge the living area. With its refined and at the same time fluid atmosphere, the project received classic furniture and solutions, meeting the aesthetic taste of the customers. To address the constraints of natural lighting due to the apartment’s tinted glass pane, the architect drew up a detailed design of lighting, which allows control of light and the creation of special scenes. From the classical repertoire, fine materials like marble and wood, and fabrics such as linen, silk, velvet and cotton, were used to endorse the comfort of the composition. 174 |

Encontrar no mix de conforto e qualidade o mote perfeito para compor o projeto de interiores desse apartamento de 300 m2 de área, foi o privilégio concedido à designer Renata Florenzano. O cliente, um jovem casal sem filhos, desejava para o novo imóvel, localizado em bairro nobre da capital paulista, uma atmosfera acolhedora, prática, confortável e, acima de tudo, marcada pela praticidade. Esses valores e conceitos foram muito bem trabalhados pelo projeto minimamente desenhado pela profissional, que concebeu espaços integrados e marcados visualmente pela ampla aplicação de materiais nobres e naturais, como pedras e madeiras. Na especificação do que iria fazer parte do novo cotidiano do casal, a arquiteta explica: “Buscamos materiais nobres, naturais, mas no seu estado bruto. Na escolha dos tecidos também buscamos linho, algodão, seda e couro. Nada sintético, pois o conforto era um dos motes do projeto”. Em linhas retas e leves, o mobiliário alinha-se aos conceitos atemporais pensados para o design de interiores, alheio propositalmente a modismos. Bem iluminado durante o dia, o apartamento recebeu especial atenção na criação do seu projeto luminotécnico, constituído de fontes indiretas, abajures e lustres. Finding in the mix of comfort and quality the perfect tone for composing the interior design of this apartment with an area of 300 square meters was the privilege granted to designer Renata Florenzano. The customers, a young couple with no children, wanted for the new building, located in an upscale neighborhood in the city of São Paulo, a welcoming, practical, and comfortable atmosphere that was, above all, marked by practicality. These values and concepts were very well expressed by the project minimally designed by the professional, who conceived integrated spaces visually marked by the widespread application of noble and natural materials like stone and wood. In the specification of what would be part of the couple’s new daily life, the architect explains: “We look for noble, natural materials, but in their raw state. In the choice of fabrics we also sought linen, cotton, silk and leather. Nothing synthetic, because comfort was one of the mottos of the project.” In straight and light lines, the furniture meets the timeless concepts designed for the interior design, purposely oblivious to fashion. Brightly lit during the day, the apartment received special attention in the creation of its illumination project, consisting of indirect sources, lamps and chandeliers. 180 |

Uma luxuosa cabana de inverno em pleno Jockey Club de São Paulo, foi o que apresentou o arquiteto Roberto Migotto em sua participação na edição paulistana da mostra Casa Cor. “A ideia foi criar uma ‘cabana’, um espaço para descanso, leitura, contemplação, com ar invernal, acolhedor, mas sem remeter à temática de casa da montanha” – diz o arquiteto, explicando a conceituação do seu projeto. Para integrar o espaço interno da casa à natureza, foram criados dois pergolados com “paredes verdes” ao fundo. Opostas, essas paredes foram revestidas por treliças e preenchidas com vegetação. Uma dessas paredes fica no fundo do banheiro da casa e a outra atrás dos caixilhos pivotantes que se abrem para o espelho d’água. Os tons quentes, como marrom e verde, são os que prevalecem na decoração, proporcionando uma atmosfera elegante e sofisticada. Para o mobiliário foi reservada uma ousada mistura de releituras, século 20 e peças de design. No piso foram aplicadas lâminas de bambu carbonizado, e nas paredes e teto madeira em tom médio. Seixos pretos revestem o banheiro e o espelho d’água. Calorosa e aconchegante como deve ser uma cabana, a iluminação indireta é distribuída harmoniosamente através de sancas, luminárias e abajures. 186 |

A luxurious winter cabin in the middle of the Jockey Club of São Paulo – that is what the architect Roberto Migotto showed in his participation in the São Paulo edition of the Casa Cor exhibition “The idea was to create a ‘hut’, a space for relaxing, reading, contemplating, with a welcoming winter air, but without referring to the theme of a mountain home”- says the architect, explaining the concept of his project. To integrate the interior space of the house to nature, two pergolas were designed with “green walls” in the background. Opposite to each other, these walls were lined with lattice and filled with vegetation. One of these walls is located at the back of the house bathroom and the other behind the pivoting frames that open to the water mirror. Warm tones, like brown and green, are those that prevail in the decoration, providing an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. A daring mix of new interpretations, Twentieth Century and pieces of design has been reserved for the furniture. Carbonized bamboo blades were used on the floor, and wood in a medium tone was utilized to line the walls and ceiling. Black pebbles coat the bathroom and the water mirror. Making it warm and cozy as a cabin should be, the indirect lighting is distributed smoothly by means of suspended ceilings, light fixtures and lamps.

Agregar experiências aos projetos que cria é uma das características da arquitetura de Rodrigo Fagá. Volumes, percursos, aberturas e um jogo de mostra e esconde, levam os usuários de seus projetos a terem suas próprias impressões, a senti-los de forma particular. É o que acontece nessa residência de 450 m2 de área, localizada no litoral sul de Alagoas. Repleto de grandes vãos, o desenho, ora transparente, ora sólido, define espaços fluidos e multifuncionais, ideais para a convivência familiar e a recepção de amigos do sortudo casal de clientes. A localização privilegiada, próxima a lagoas, mangues e balneários, contribuiu para uma casa de desenho urbano, prática, e potencializada em suas áreas de convívio. O que a torna ideal também como casa de veraneio, porém sem os tais clichês estéticos encontrados em casas com essa finalidade. “O estilo contemporâneo, com a valorização de aspectos étnicos, o uso de formas puras, linhas retas e a disposição assimétrica dos volumes presentes na fachada, confere identidade à construção”– completa Fagá. Em busca da vista, as áreas sociais possuem grandes panos envidraçados que proporcionam excelentes condições de iluminação natural. Já as estrelas da iluminação artificial, responsáveis também pela atmosfera intimista, são três luminárias Bertolluci de 1,50 m de diâmetro. O mobiliário traduz os anseios dos clientes, peças contemporâneas como Sérgio Faher, Jaqueline Terpins, Sílvio Romero, Jader Almeida dialogam com clássicos de design, como Charles & Eames e peças de Sérgio Rodrigues. 192 |

Adding experiences to the projects he creates is one of the characteristics of the Rodrigo Fagá’s architecture. Volumes, routes, openings, and a game of show and hide, lead the users of his projects to have their own impressions, to feel them in a particular way. That is what happens in this residence of 410 square meters, located on the southern coast of the state of Alagoas. Filled with large spans, the design, at times transparent, at times solid, defines fluid and multifunctional spaces, ideal for the family conviviality and reception of friends of the lucky couple of customers. The privileged location, next to ponds, mangroves and bathing resorts, contributed to a house of urban design, practical, and empowered in its living areas -- which makes it also ideal as a summer home, but without the aesthetic clichés found in such houses for this purpose. “The contemporary style, with the appreciation of ethnic aspects, the use of pure forms, straight lines and the asymmetric layout of the volumes present on the façade, gives identity to the building” - Fagá concludes. In search of a good view, the social areas have large glazed panels that provide excellent natural lighting. But the stars of the artificial lighting, responsible also for the intimate atmosphere, are three Bertolluci light fixtures of 1.50 m in diameter. The furniture reflects the customers’ desires; contemporary pieces by artists such as Sergio Faher, Jacqueline Terpins, Sílvio Romero, and Jader Almeida dialog with design classics such as Charles & Eames works and pieces by Sérgio Rodrigues.

A beleza de um pé de pequi, árvore nativa do cerrado brasileiro, encontrado no terreno orientou não só a arquitetura como o design de interiores dessa residência em Brasília, DF. A arquiteta Sabrina Estrella, autora do projeto, referenciou-se no posicionamento da árvore para implantar a casa, abrindo-a generosamente para o verde, permitindo que a natureza entrasse na composição dos ambientes. Admirada pelos proprietários, a arquitetura tailandesa foi outra referência adotada, determinando o telhado em quatro águas e a utilização de materiais naturais – tudo alinhavado por uma linguagem contemporânea. Com 750 m² de área, a casa foi dividida em três blocos, integrados por um pátio interno. Para a construção de uma atmosfera acolhedora e sofisticada, a madeira foi um dos elementos que teve sua beleza plástica amplamente utilizada no design de interiores, presente em revestimentos, esquadrias, portas e móveis. Além da madeira, a elegância dos tons neutros caracteriza o mobiliário, predominantemente em linhas retas. Tanto a iluminação quanto a ventilação naturais foram favorecidas pelas grandes aberturas presentes na arquitetura do imóvel, que inundam praticamente todos os ambientes. Já a iluminação artificial foi alvo de um minucioso projeto luminotécnico, composto por um sistema misto de fontes florescentes, indiretas e pontuais. 198 |

The beauty of a pequi tree, native to the Brazilian cerrado, which was found on the plot, not only directed the architecture and interior design of this residence in Brasília, Distrito Federal. The architect Sabrina Estrella, author of the project, based it on the positioning of the tree to deploy the house, opening it generously to the green, allowing nature to enter into the composition of the ambiences. Admired by the owners, the Thai architecture was another adopted reference, determining the four-plane roof and the use of natural materials - all stitched up by a contemporary language. With an area of 750 square meters, the house was divided into three blocks, integrated by an internal courtyard. For the construction of a warm, sophisticated atmosphere, wood was one of the elements that had its plastic beauty widely used in the interior design, present in coatings, window frames, doors and pieces of furniture. In addition to the wood, the elegance of the neutral tones characterizes the furniture, featured predominantly in straight lines. Both the natural lighting and ventilation were favored by the large openings present in the architecture of the building, flooding virtually every room. In its turn, the artificial lighting was the subject of a detailed lighting project, composed of a mixed system of fluorescent, indirect and point sources.

Tanto a implantação, voltada para um parque, quanto a arquitetura do edifício, repleto de aberturas que permitem a ventilação cruzada, contribuíram para a composição do design de interiores desse apartamento, localizado no 16º andar de um edifício em Águas Claras, DF. Assinado por Tatiana Estrela, o projeto de 285 m2 de área foi concebido em tons claros, capazes de absorver e propagar internamente a luz natural, propiciando a base ideal para ambientes de traços clássicos e atmosfera sofisticada. “Como partido inicial adotei a integração entre os ambientes, buscando sempre uma circulação livre de obstáculos, sem muitos móveis e que cada ambiente tivesse uma característica própria” – explica a arquiteta. As viagens pelo mundo realizadas pelo casal de clientes também foram utilizadas como referências na decoração, com alguns ambientes assumindo características dos lugares visitados. Duráveis e sóbrios, os materiais de acabamento utilizados no projeto conseguiram agregar uma personalidade marcante para cada ambiente. O mobiliário, que versa entre formas clássicas e contemporâneas, garante com requintada elegância o conforto e o bem-estar dos usuários. Both the deployment of the building, facing a park, and its architecture, full of openings that allow cross ventilation, have contributed to the composition of the interior design of this apartment, located on the 16th floor of a building in Águas Claras, Distrito Federal. Signed by Tatiana Estrela, the project on the area of 285 square meters was designed in light colors, able to absorb and spread natural light internally, providing an ideal base for ambiences with classical features and a sophisticated atmosphere. “As initial project I’ve adopted the integration between the ambiences, always looking for an obstacle-free circulation, without much furniture, and making each room have its own characteristic” - explains the architect. The world travels performed by the couple of customers were also used as references in the decor, with some ambiences taking on characteristics of the places visited. Durable and sober, the finishing materials used in the project were able to add a remarkable personality for each ambience. The furniture, which deals with classical and contemporary forms, ensures the comfort and well-being of the users with exquisite elegance. 204 |

Localizada numa das estâncias de inverno mais famosas do Brasil, a charmosa cidade de Campos do Jordão, SP, essa casa foi transformada num sofisticado refúgio para um casal e seus dois filhos adolescentes, após receber um elegante projeto de interiores assinado por Viviane Dinamarco. Em 320 m² de área foram materializados conceitos e formas contemporâneas de se habitar uma casa de montanha, o que inclui a integração entre ambientes, a criação de um espaço gourmet e de um amplo gazebo, tudo arrematado pelo conforto e bem-estar. Aliás, o clima de montanha orientou a implantação de várias soluções essenciais para o conforto dos usuários, como sistema de calefação em todos os cômodos e aquecimento de piso e toalheiros nos banheiros. Para atualizar formas e usos já instituídos na decoração de uma residência de inverno, a profissional recorreu a materiais e padronagens clássicas como couro, camurça, xadrez e madeira, mas subverteu seus usos e aplicações. A madeira de demolição utilizada como revestimento, por exemplo, foi patinada de branco para clarear o ambiente; marcantes, o couro e a madeira surgem em diálogos ora com cores fortes, ora com objetos transparentes. Internamente, o aspecto de chalé foi interrompido pelo rebaixamento do teto feito de gesso, solução essencial para a obtenção de uma iluminação calorosa e pontual. 210 |

Located in one of the most famous winter resorts in Brazil, the charming town of Campos do Jordão, state of São Paulo, this house was transformed into a sophisticated haven for a couple and their two teenage children, after receiving an elegant interior design signed by Viviane Dinamarco. On an area of 320 square meters, concepts and contemporary forms of how to dwell in a mountain home have been materialized, which includes the integration between the ambiences, the creation of a gourmet area and a large gazebo, all topped off by comfort and well-being. In fact, the mountain air guided the deployment of multiple solutions essential for the comfort of the users, such as the heating system in every room, heated floors and towel rails in the bathrooms. In order to update forms and practices already in place in the decoration of a winter residence, the architect resorted to classic patterns and materials such as leather, suede, plaid and wood, but subverted their uses and applications. The demolition wood used as a liner, for example, was patinated white to lighten the atmosphere; striking, leather and wood appear in dialogs now with bold colors, now with transparent objects. Internally, the cottage appearance was interrupted by the lowering of the ceiling made of plaster, an essential solution to obtain a timely and warm lighting.
