‘Savoir-faire’ Charvin oils use some of the oldest recipes still in use. These recipes are the same used to make oil colors for artists since 1830. They are made without compromise, selecting only the finest pigments no matter how rare and expensive it may be. The color makers at Charvin expertly and slowly produce the oil color much in the same way that wine makers insure that the product will have a true character and lovely finish. The main binder of Charvin oil colors is poppy seed oil. It, as compared to linseed oil, gives oil colors a unique character and creaminess.
Fine & Extra Fine Oil Colors Poppy oil is of course more expensive than traditional linseed oil and is the primary oil used in making high end cosmetics. They are an elite, professional colors using the same secret recipes since 1830 and can be relied upon to be permanent and lightfast.

Extra Fine oil colors This line is comprised of 149 colors from the most subtle to the most brilliant. All colors are made with traditional pigments in the highest possible concentration and the finest texture. All colors are available in aluminium tube of 20, 60 and 150ml.
Fine oil colors This line is comprised of 150 colors with some colors produced with modern and very suitable pigments. It is available in aluminium tube of 150ml.
