HCECi ADMIN DECLARES EARLY DISMISSAL TODAY As expected, dengue hemorrhagic fever rises during the rainy season. This year, however, the incidence soared so high that the Department of Health sounded off the alarm. With this report from the government, and as a precautionary measure of the institution, health authorities advised community action to prevent dengue fever, especially in academic institutions.
The DOH led the whole country in a clean-up operation to eliminate all potential mosquito breeding places every 4:00 pm. In response to this call, Holy Child Educational Center, Inc. responded and had its FUMIGATION DRIVE today, hence classes are called off early so as not to let students and pupils inhale the fumes. The Aedes aegyoti mosquito, the
cause of dengue, breeds in clear, stagnant water accumulated in cans, old tires, flower vases, pots, pails and other containers. People were advised to eliminate these things in their homes, schools and offices. Only by cleaning up the environment and prompt medical attention can the vicious cycle of transmission be broken. STRICTLY NO PROCESSING OF TEST PERMITS DURING EXAM DAYS / PTA DAYS Last term’s cooperation and adherence to school policies of the HCECi parents resulted in a hassle, worry-free exam days. Test permits were processed, released and submitted to the class advisers days before the exam days. This Second Term, the school expects that there will be no long queue at the accounting office on the first day of exam/PTA to pay the bills and claim the test permits. This practice does not help the students to have the correct mind set for the exam. They are put under stress and the energy supposed to be spent for cognitive activities are consumed in that stressful queue of lining up. This mind condition will surely affect the pupil’s performance during the exam. The school is once again asking for the cooperation of the parents and guardians regarding this matter. LET’S PROVIDE OUR SCHOOL CHILDREN WORRYFREE EXAM and PTA DAYS.
APPOINTMENT WITH ON CELLULAR PHONES & OTHER TEACHERS GADGETS Reprinted
Parents/Guardians who need to have a conference (no matter how short it is) must see the teacher AFTER CLASS for they need to prepare their classrooms, materials. Even during their break time, advisers or teachers are supervising their pupils, hence conference is prohibited. For pressing concerns, parents are advised to course the matter to the office of the Principal. Inquiries and complaints regarding STUDENT AFFAIRS and COCURRICULAR ACTIVITIES & POINTS should be coursed through the Office of the VicePrincipal/HeadSA. HCECi Management and Administration demands that concerns and issues must be settled in the proper avenues and authorities.
THERE HAVE BEEN INCIDENTS THAT THIS POLICY IS NOT BEING OBSERVED BY SOME PARENTS. Your cooperation
