HERITAGE SOCIETY (cont) communities to identify the local heritage which they value most for recognition and inclusion on a Local Heritage List. We will be actively supporting this project and are looking to include appropriate Garstang and District heritage assets. To help us in this it would be much appreciated if residents could think about all the local landmarks that are important to our community and email your suggestions and perhaps photos to us. Get Involved If you would like support or get involved in your local heritage, then drop us an email. Peter Ryder e: garstangheritagecentre@gmail.com

COFFEE STOP Our community cafe opened in Inglewhite in 2005 and we moved into Catterall too in 2013. It’s wonderful to reunite again. We’re open on most Tuesday mornings between 10:00am and noon and invite you to come along for coffee and company. We aim to offer a safe and friendly place where you can come along alone or with friends. We welcome everyone and invite walkers, cyclists, locals and visitors to call in for a cuppa. There is disabled access and free parking at both venues. We are staffed by volunteers from Inglewhite Church and both communities. We will be open on Tues 7th Dec at Catterall Village Hall. Our Christmas celebration is at Inglewhite on Tues 14th Dec at 11:00am. A buffet lunch will be served in the church hall at noon. Please reserve your place by making payment of £10 for lunch. We will be delighted to welcome you during December. The Coffee Stop team wish you a peaceful Christmas and New Year Lesley Hardman
