3 Most Common Mistakes New Coaches Make by Christine Williams

Here are the three most common mistakes I see new coaches make in their first 1-3 years when trying to get to 6 figures and the solutions.

Mistake 1: Not focusing on a specific audience or persona. (Your IDEAL CLIENT) and solving a relevant problem for that 'starter market.'

This mistake is typically created when there's too much focus on the logistics of your program and not properly aligning it to the real 'pains' or problems she has or the real 'wins' or motivations that are possible for her and her transformation.

Solution: Focus on a specific problem someone REALLY cares about, and solve that problem - you'll get real traction and make your business easier to grow. Really dial in on what are the MAIN things she wants to be solved. NOT the contents of your program or 90-day transformation program. They want RESULTS, not logistics.

Mistake 2: Feeling like you need to be on ALL the social media platforms and never using just ONE to its full potential. Or paying for ads, trying to build out courses, or evergreen products at the WRONG time in their business.

I see this mistake over and over again. Coaches chase the next bright shiny object or tactic and never get just ONE marketing platform working like a well-oiled machine.

This also creates a feeling of failure and doubt that they can actually make any money.

Solution: KEEP IT SIMPLE: Choose just ONE marketing method and sell your product that fits with what feels aligned with YOU and what you love to do. (Business is hard enough without having to learn a bunch of new high-tech and fancy funnels at the same time.) Plus, you don't have the income yet to fund it.

Mistake 3: An ineffective business model

Even if you have your ideal client nailed down and a marketing and sales system that feels good and aligned with you, having an ineffective business model will keep you spinning.

So many NEW coaches are trying to "SELL" those low-priced $97 offers (because you are afraid people won't buy your higher-priced offer).

Instead, really be of SERVICE to your ideal client. Can she really get the transformation she wants in a 1-off session? (Loose 30 pounds or finally get a handle on what's keeping her up at night?)

Transformation takes time. Be a stand for her and what she really wants and make it about HER. Not your fears or doubts of a price tag.

People WILL invest to get their results. And it is even easier to enroll someone into a 2K-3koffer when they see how they will get the result to their problem rather than trying to sell a $97 course or membership with no real support.

Solution: Make sure your business model has just 2 core offers. And make one of them 2k-3k or even higher.

A boutique business that SERVES at a high level means you get to really support people most effectively in helping them get results.

• You get to value your time and own your worth and pricing so that you're excited to help people, and THEY show up excited to work with you.

• You don't need a large audience of 10K plus. You can seriously hit 6 figures and multiple 6 figures with 500 or less in your Facebook group or email list. (I hit multiple 6 figures with a group of only 300)

• You have FREEDOM to spend time with your family, being the visionary in your business, and have time to be FULLY sourced so you can show up as the empowered feminine leader you are. No more sacrificing your time, energy, family, or sanity to complicated strategies or burning yourself out.
