Taylor, on the album, number MMKP 4081 McGregor Museum, Kimberley, appears to have had an earlier number McGregor Museum, Kimberley, (MMK 1421/292). So, there are two names for the same face. The photo above gives him as Mounted Constable W.W. Elliot (12th Lancers) and as Lt. Col. W.H.C Taylor on the album. It is not only the same face, but clearly the same man cropped from the larger composite photo.
