第36屆安錫國際動畫節觀眾大獎及聯合國兒童基金會獎。 Jung 42歲，是一名漫畫家。他5歲的時候，被警察發現他 獨自徘徊在首爾街頭。他是全球被領養的200000名韓國 人其中之一。 Jung決心回到南韓，為了呼吸他家鄉的空氣，踏遍他祖先 的土地，或許，可以得到他親生母親的一些線索。這次尋 根之旅，讓Jung在動畫中，重尋他孩提時的成長路。 Jung以3D的人物設計，配上2D的背景和裝飾，以溫柔與幽 默的筆觸，表達領養的主題。 Jung. Cartoonist. 42 years old according to his civil status, Jung prefers to place his birth at the age of 5, when a policeman found him wandering alone in the streets of Seoul. He is one of those 200 000 adopted Koreans spread around the world.
OPENING/ CLOSING NIGHTS
Jung decided to return for the first time in South Korea, in order to breathe the air of his home country, tread the land of his ancestors, and maybe find traces of his biological mother. This trip of reconciliation with his roots and with himself leads our character to recall – in animation – the child he once was and the winding path that made him grow up. APPROVED FOR ADOPTION is a very original animation film for an original topic. The characters were developed and created in 3D, the landscapes and decorations are in 2D and the drawings are originally made by Jung. The film deals with adoption issues with tenderness and humor. * Audience Award and UNICEF Award, the 36th Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2012

繼去年震撼觀眾心靈的《一輩子豬玀》後，我們今年再為大家帶來另一部韓國暗黑動畫長片《啪嗒啪嗒，了不起 的鯖魚》。這部運用不同動畫技法的作品，主角的遭遇教人看得百感交集，連場musical場面更是在同類作品中罕 見，難怪各大動畫節爭相邀請放映呢！同場放映導演早期短片作品《派報紙的男孩》，同樣充滿寓意。 After THE KING OF PIGS last year, we bring you another Korean dark animation, PADAK. By using different animation techniques, with musical scenes, the filmmaker bring the audiences into the struggling life of the main character. Screening together with THE PAPER BOY, the early work of the filmmaker.

我們自第四屆InDPanda國際短片節開始選映史明 輝導演的動畫作品，去年的第一屆InDPolar國際動 畫節，更特別選映他的《願快樂》。其實，自1995年 起，史明輝創作了很多極具風格的動畫短片，當中 不少作品更獲得很多重要的動畫獎項。這次，就讓 我們一起進入史明輝的動畫世界，一次過欣賞他的 九部代表作，包括最新作品《寂寞碼頭》。 We screened the animation of Jack Shih since the 4th InDPanda International Short Film Festival. Last year, we highlighted his work A HAPPY WISH in the 1st InDPolar. Jack made so many excellent animations since 1995, most of them obtained international awards. Let us bring you into the animation world of Jack Shih. Nine works including his latest animation, THE SOLITARY PIER.

2012／78’ Padak是一尾來自海洋的鯖魚，被捕獲並飼養在一家海鮮餐館的魚缸裡，她堅持不懈地尋找出路。年長的比目魚同樣來自海 洋，是魚缸裡的統治者，在他的心目中，Padak的反抗是他的威脅。 Once a free fish in the ocean, Padak, the ‘Mackerel’ was caught by the fishing net and brought to the fish tank in a seafood restaurant. She searches for a way out intentionally and relentlessly. The skeptic pessimist ‘Old-flatfish’, was also from the ocean. As the longest survivor in the tank, he reigns over other fishes with his knowledge of survival. But nobody wants the paper, rather beat him and scarify him instead. 史明輝，曾就讀加州藝術學院和紐約普瑞特藝術 學院動畫所，目前從事動畫教育工作暨動畫電影 導演。近期作品《願快樂》短片獲得信誼基金會兒 童文學獎動畫類首獎，希臘科孚島動畫影展評審 團獎，長片劇本獲得100年度新聞局優良劇本優等 獎，也曾擔任過電影長片《不倒翁的奇幻旅程》和 《我十九歲》的動畫指導。導演動畫原創作品曾榮 獲國內外多座獎項，包括第四十四屆金馬獎最佳創 作短片、第四屆和第十屆台北電影獎動畫短片、四 座金穗獎和美國電視艾美獎等多國際影展得獎與 入圍肯定。 About Jack Shih Jack Shih studied at CalArts for experimental animation and Pratt Institute for Computer Art. He is now teaching animation and working as an independent animation filmmaker for over a decade. He is consistently making efforts for the original animation developments in Taiwan. His previous films were honored by various international film festivals, including Golden Horse Film Award, Taipei Film Award, four times Golden Harvest Awards, and U.S. TV Emmy Awards.
