26 Turkish textile firms attended Première Vision New York
Turkish textile companies made an excellent show in America Uludag Textile Exporters’ Association (UTIB) organized Turkish national participation for the 15th time in Première Vision New York fair where global textile and fashion manufacturers meet. A total of 26 Turkish textile companies of which 23 are UTIB members, attended the show which was realized on 16-17 July 2019. Attending the fair, Pınar Taşdelen Engin, Chairwoman of the Board of UTIB, said that the fair has become a venue to show the union of forces of Turkish exhibitors as every year. She stressed that the Turkish textile and apparel industry was the strongest sector of the country, Engin detailed, “Turkish textile and apparel industry has come to a position not to compete in cost-competition category countries but compete with countries which have high investment budgets for R&D, innovation, design and high-tech.” Uludag Textile Exporters’ Association (UTIB) organized Turkish national participation in 39th Première Vision New York fair for the 15th time.
