ernando de Noronha, the lost paradise is an archipelago of twenty-one islands located 350 kilometers from the northeast coast of Brazil. It is a protected national marine park and a dream come true for divers and nature lovers. Fernando de Noronha, it was a Portuguese merchant that sponsor the expedition. The Portuguese crown gave the name Fernando de Noronha for services rendered by the sponsor. It was the year of 1500. The rich archipelago islands. Flora, Fauna, Marine Life still almost untouched.

he Flora, Fauna, Marine life and beauty of it on this archipelago island’s almost inhabited. It is due to the Government control that only permits visits during certain times of the year. It’s uniqueness administration is under the responsibility of the state of Pernambuco from where you can find the perfect flight and permit to stay. The number of visitors is also under control to preserve the ecosystem. For nature lovers, divers and anyone that is after beauty, the archipelago is a great place to be.

ste archipélago fundado em 1503 e composto de 21 ilhas está localizado a 350 quilômetros do território Brasileiro. Reconhecido pela Unesco como Patrimônio Mundial é uma área também protegida pelo Governo Brasileiro por seu delicado eco systema. Leva o nome de seu patrocinador o comerciante Fernando de Loronha, um judeu portugues que ao converter-se ao catolicismo passou a ser conhecido por Noronha. Esta expedição promovida e financiada por ele teve no seu comando o capitão Gonçalo Coelho e o italiano Américo Vespucio. O Rei Manuel I de Portugal levando em consideração a magnitude deste evento concedeu a Fernando de Noronha as ilhas como capitania hereditária por relevantes serviços prestados à Coroa Portuguesa. A rica flora,fauna e vida marinha deste archipélago é protegida e controlada pelo Govêrno de Pernambuco. A vida marinha de Fernando de Noronha é o sonho de qualquer mergulhador. São aguas cristalinas com uma variedade riquíssima de peixes e golfinhos extremamente dóceis que fazem o prazer de qualquer mergulhador. IN 1944 BRAZIL’S GOVERNMENT TRANSFERRED THE AIRPORT TO THE JURISDICTION OF THE UNITED STATES NAVY. AFTER THE END OF THE WAR, THE AIRPORT ADMINISTRATION WENT BACK TO THE BRAZILIAN GOVERNMENT.

uring the second world war in 1942, the archipelago became a Federal territory to where were sent political and ordinary prisoners. The same year, the United States Army Air Forces Transport Command constructed the Airport in Fernando de Noronha. To serve and stablished the route between Natal (capital of Rio Grande do Norte and French West Africa). It was necessary to create a new route to support the transit of cargo, aircraft, and personnel for the Allies campaign in Africa. In 1944 Brazil’s Government transferred the Airport to the jurisdiction of the United States Navy. After the end of the war, the Airport administration went back to the Brazilian Government. This archipelago has twenty- one island, that is of volcanic origin. The majority of the islands are submerged. The principal one has an area of 6.9 sq miles long by 2.2 miles wide. Fernando de Noronha has a population of only 2.718 and 1,492 Hotels.

m 1942 durante a segunda guerra mundial o arquipélago era território Federal, para onde eram enviados os presos políticos e comuns. Durante a guerra,entretanto o Comando das Forças aéreas e Exército dos Estados Unidos estabeleceu-se na área estratégicamente localizada para construir o aeroporto de Fernando de Noronha. A intenção era estabelecer uma rota entre Natal (capital do Rio Grande do Norte e África Ocidental francesa) devido a necessidade de criar uma nova rota de suporte para o trânsito de cargas, aeronaves e pessoal em suporte aos aliados na campanha da África. Em 1944 o Governo Brasileiro transferiu a juridisção do Aeroporto de Fernando de Noronha para a jurisdição da Marinha dos Estados Unidos. Após o fim da guerra, a administração do Aeroporto retornou ao Governo Brasileiro. Orígem Vulcânica
A
s vinte uma ilhas deste arquipélago são de origem vulcânica. A maioria delas submersas vendo-se apenas parte das mesmas acima das águas. A principal tem uma área de 6,9 milhas sqf de comprimento por 2,2 milhas de largura.

n 1988 the Government designated 70% of the archipelago as a maritime national park to preserve the land and sea environment. On that same year, the archipelago Fernando de Noronha was adding to the state of Pernambuco. The archipelago is subject and attention of international scientists. It is a delicate ecosystem that has its uniqueness Depending on the tourism, however, the fragile ecosystem of Fernando de Noronha is preserved to some rules and limitations. n

Entre as mais famosas se encontram as praias nominadas de Baia dos Porcos, Baía dos golfinhos, Praia do leão, Baía do Sancho Praia do cachorro, Praia dos Americanos, Praia do Suede,Cacimba do Padre etc..Devido à corrente de águas mornas da Africa empurradas pelo Equatorial Sul, o archipélago é circundado pelo oceano Atlântico de águas cristalinas e aprazíveis.Em 1988 o Governo designou 70% do arquipélago como Parque Nacional Marítimo visando preservar o ambiente terra e mar. Nesse mesmo ano, o arquipélago de Fernando de Noronha até então administrado pela capital do Rio Grande do Norte, passou a ser administrado por Pernambuco. Com o interesse mundial de cientistas internacionais no estudo da Fauna, Flora e Geologia do archipélago foram estabelecidas regras aos visitantes visando a proteção de seu frágil ecossistema. Os turistas são devidamente orientados pelo Ibama (órgão do Governo) sobre as proibições e regras a serem seguidas durante sua permanencia. Boa viagem! n

ENTEBALE IS A CHARITY EVENT CO-FOUNDED BY THE DUKE OF SUSSEX AND PRINCE SEEISO IN 2006. Sentebale began its working in Lesotho, southern Africa, to rewrite the future for children and young people affected by HIV and extreme poverty. The purpose of Sentebale events is to promote awareness of HIV by providing access to care, education and psychosocial support to the critical ills. For over a decade, Sentebale charity has supported thousands of children, young people affected by HIV in Lesotho, Botswana, and now in Malawi. The prevention, solution tests, and services are at the residential camps for those coming to terms of living with HIV. His Royal Highness, TheDuke of Sussex, played in the 2019 Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup at Roma Polo Club, Italy on the 24th of May. It is the first time that this event happens in Italy. The charity is to raise funds, awareness, and support to the mental health and well being of young people with HIV. Richard Miller, The Executive chief of Sentebale said: We are delighted in host Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup at Roma Polo Club in Italy. All of us at Sentebale are enormously grateful for the continued support of loyal and trusted sponsors in this year event”. A meta deste evento caritativo é a de obter fundos necessários em suporte aos pacientes acometidos na Africa. he former passenger airliner Boeing 747-400 previously operated by Virgin Atlantic since 2015, is now under Virgin Galactic, one of the multiple companies of Virgin Group. The plan was to transform the aircraft to make the Boeing 747-4000 the future platform for the air-launch stage of the orbital rocket. The Boeing was re-named, Cosmic Girl. The primary purpose was to test and monitor the critical seconds before and during the release of the rocket. The test was a complete success. The smooth separation from the aircraft and the freefalls through the air. The drop test development Program began in 2015, also the modification and design of the 747-400 named Cosmic Girl-LauncherOne. As planned, the liftoff of LauncherOne took place from the Mojave Air and Space Port in California at Edwards Air Force Base. In the cruise altitude of 35,000 feet, Cosmic Girl release the rocket at 9:43 AM Pacific time.

A proposta inicial da transformação do Boeing 740-400 em plataforma de lançamento orbital era a de monitorar em vôo a separação do missil entitulado LauncherOne da aeronave Cosmic Girl. Este programa teve início em 2015 e como planejado em Julho deste ano de 2019, o avião decolou às 8:43 am da Base Aérea Edwards Air Force no Deserto de Mojave na Califórnia. Ao atingir 35,000 mil pés (altitude de cruzeiro em vôos internacionais), a exatas 9:43 am, o míssil LauncherOne foi desengajado da aeronave em caída livre, e com absoluto sucesso. he world’s largest Offshore Race, the Biennial Rolex Fastnet Race has been an established fixture on the ocean racing circuit since 1925. The 605-nautical mile race is a test of strategy and skill with challenging tidal currents and changeable weather. The fleet starts off the royal yacht squadron in cowes, races out of the solent and across the often tempestuousceltic sea to the fastnet rock, before returning on a reciprocal course to the finish off plymouth. 2019 Marks. Winning this race is a remarkable achievement, even for a team on a roll; Wizard has already achieved handicap victories in the 2019 Transatlantic Race and the RORC Caribbean 600. The boat has real pedigree: winning the 2011-12 Volvo Ocean Race as Groupama 4 and, subsequently, the 2016 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race as Giacomo. n
