Hello,
It’s me. I was wondering if after all these months, you’d like to do more in Key Club. Or maybe, you’d like to meet new people. It has been 9 months since the beginning of the term. And it’ll be 4 months from the end of the term. To go over everything that we’ve done is hard. But I can try. In these 9 months Division 19 South Key Club has raised over $5000 for PTP! We have completed 11,605.5 hours of service! But most importantly of all, we’ve come closer together as a division. We’ve learned to serve our homes, schools, and communities. We strived to do more. And our efforts have bore fruit. We have accomplished so much this term. And we can still accomplish more! We can do more hours. We can raise more money. We can do this because, we are D19S Key Club! I do have some bad news to share however. The 2015-2016 administrative terms will be ending on April 10th 2016. That means that on April 10th, I will be officially retired from office. But before my retirement there is much to be done. We need to elect a new Lt. Governor at conclave. We need to keep putting in our 110%. And we need to relax and just enjoy the company. I may not wish to face the fact that my term will soon be over, but I know can relax because the future of D19S Key Club is bright. I can see the passion in all of your eyes. I can see the yearning for service. I can see that you all want to do more, and to make an impact. And with this, I know I can rest easy. In 4 months’ time, I’ll be entrusting you all to keep on serving, to make an impact on the lives of others, and to spread that Key Club spirit. My term may be ending soon, but I’ll always be available should you all ever need someone, because this isn’t goodbye, but hello from the other side.

Club Updates 3
Bishop
During the month of November, Bishop Montgomery’s Key Club had over 30 members attend Fall Rally South which is remarkable! On Friday, December 4, more than 20 members from our BMHS Key Club took part in a beach cleanup at Redondo Beach. Members set off to the beach after school and got their gloves and beach bags all set. It was one of the many great events to keep the busy members stay active! – Celina Villanueva 4
Every Tuesday of the week, HTPA Key Clubbers are called upon by their sponsoring Kiwanis to help serve food and clean up during the Kiwanians meeting. The Kiwanians supply their own cook in order who prepares the meal while the volunteers set up the tables before the meeting began. Once the meeting begins and the Kiwanians are comfortable in their chair with their dinner, the Key Clubbers typically wait in the kitchen or the back room, socializing with teenagers from other clubs or doing their homework. Once a month during the meeting, a representative is selected from each club to give an oral club report to all of the Kiwanians to give a better understanding of our efforts and achievements. To make the matter even better, all of the volunteering clubs receive a generous donation each time a member volunteers to donate to donate to the Pediatric Trauma Program or create an amazing service event for all the members to enjoy. – Matthew Suzuki

The LA Brain Tumor Walk was an event full of excitement, determination and sweat. The glaring, hot sun and 100 degree weather made the three-hour walk a great challenge. However, Jasmine, Kristine and Justin of West High Key Club were determined to get to the finish line at the end of the three-mile walk. Although only three members from West went, they were still high-spirited and had much enthusiasm. They said that it was a great bonding experience and they met many people from different walks of life, all coming together to support a great cause. – Dion Pham 6
Every year North High has a Food Festival. Each club is strongly encouraged to sell food to fundraise and promote themselves. Key Club members were given the opportunity to help sell and package food. This year we decided to sell L & L Hawaiian Barbecue to North High students. We bought 6 trays full of delicious food—2 trays of rice, 2 trays of macaroni, and 2 trays of chicken katsu. Together, they separated themselves into stations like an assembly line, passing down Styrofoam boxes and quickly packaging food in it. At the end of lunch we were sold out and able to raise a good amount of money for Key Club. – Jacqueline Fuentes

On November 14th, 400 Beastie Bunnies attended Fall Rally South along with thousands of other Key Clubbers from all over Southern California and Las Vegas. Together we raised approximately $5,000 dollars for Pediatric Trauma Program and celebrated by spending an amazing day at Six Flags Magic Mountain. All throughout the park you could see and hear many colorful divisions showing off their Key Club spirit by performing cheers and initiating spirit battles with each other. After a hectic start, Division 19 South made it to the Top 5 at our Spirit Rally against other divisions in Regions 1, 5, and 8. It was amazing seeing hot pink bunnies flood the theatre as we entered. After the rally, members had the rest of the day to celebrate their accomplishments and service hours that had been achieved so far into the term. All in all Fall Rally South was an experience like no other. Please stick around as we continue to create even more memories together as an ohana! 12

What is PTP?
PTP, most people don't know what it really is. It stands for Pediatric Trauma Program. Now what the Pediatric Trauma Program is doing is setting up programs and giving help to the children that are injured or killed by trauma each year. This helps keep children happy and safe. In PTP, we outreach to the children and communities by providing education and help. Partnered hospitals assist us in finding ways to create projects to assist with PTP. By working together using our clubs and our members, we can help improve the experiences of the children that have gone through trauma -Adrianne Bunye (PTP Fund. Coord.)
