Of Color and Movement

I capture nature in motion, a moment in time, a moment in my life, the images, lights, and colors around the city —and the majesty of the outdoors. I love the changes in weather, an upcoming rainy day, the aftermath of a storm, or the light changing at sunrise with the promise of a new day. Or the sunset, giving way to the darkness and lights of the night.

It can be the beauty of a flower, the news of the day, world events, or a simple hidden gem found by chance on a walk around the neighborhood. In all the bright colors of the tropical climate I grew up, living close to the equator —the vivid greens, and the bright hues.

Me encantan los cambios en el clima, un día lluvioso que se aproxima, las secuelas de una tormenta o el cambio de luz al amanecer con la promesa de un nuevo día. O el atardecer, dando paso a la oscuridad y las luces de la noche. Puede ser la belleza de una flor, las noticias del día, los eventos del mundo o una simple joya escondida que se encuentra por casualidad en un paseo por el vecindario. En todos los brillantes colores del clima tropical en el que crecí viviendo cerca del ecuador: el verde vivo y las brillantes tonalidades.
