ostre de arroz is rice pudding. Variations of rice puddings are found all over the world as recipes vary greatly even in the same country. My mom prepares this particular recipe for rice pudding on Christmas or other special occasions. t

Ingredients Ingredientes 1 Galon of Milk 2 Cups of Rice Sugar Cinnamon Sticks

1 Galón de Leche 2 tazas de Arroz Azúcar Canela

Existen variaciones del postre de arroz por todo el mundo variando incluso en un mismo país. Mi Madre prepara esta receta de postre de arroz en Navidad y en otras ocasiones especiales.

METHOD

Cook the 2 cups of rice with 3 cups of water for 10 minutes. Add a gallon of milk and cook until rice softens and thickens. Add sugar and cinnamon sticks to desired taste. Stir frequently to prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom of the pot. Let cool and serve cold.

Cocer el arroz con 3 tazas de agua por 10 minutos. Agregar el galón de leche y cocer hasta que el arroz se ablande y se ponga espeso. Agregar azúcar y canela a gusto. Revolver frecuentemente para que no se pegue. Deje enfriar y sírvalo frío.
