(Featured articles) OTC EXPERIENCE // KATIE NGUYEN

Attending OTC opened up my mind to what goes on in Key Club. The presentations were very informative and helped me understand more about the goal for Key Club and how to get to it. I learned about bulletin editor duties, preferred charities, and how to find and organize service events and projects. What I like the most was that everyone interacted with each other and became closer despite the short timespan of a few hours. Overall, OTC is definitely a helpful guide to learning about Key Club and you can also meet new people! KATIE IN A WORKSHOP SESSION

(featured articles) THE COLOR RUN // KATRINA DO

Throwing colored powder at the Color Run was super fun, exciting, and unlike any other volunteer work I have ever experienced. Each person was assigned to different color stations to throw colored powder at runners and cheer for them as they passed our pinpoint during the marathon. Other volunteers also handed out water and individual color packets after the race course. Although it was messy and I got green colored powder in my eyes, hair, and all over my body, it was incredible to see how everyone was ecstatic to get exercising during the summer and have a great time overall.

(reminders & updates) 1. On FRIDAY, July 6th, Franklin will be having a BOBA TEA HOUSE fundraiser! Come get some drinks on a hot summer day and support our club! Show a flyer (board members will be there to hand out flyers) when ordering and a portion of the profits will go to our club :) 2. CNH District International Convention will be held from July 410, 2018. 3. Our new division shirt design has been revealed! These will be available for purchase a little before Fall Rally North (October)

4. Get ahead and do some service over the summer to knock out your 15 hour service requirement at the end of the year! Don’t procrastinate!
