Aloha Franklin Key Clubbers we have been very busy during September! We also had club rush and our first meeting with new members, where we introduced the board, played icebreakers, and taught you all about what it means to be in Key Club. For upcoming events we will start Pennies for PTP, Trick or Treat for UNICEF, and we are planning on attending Fall Rally. We hope you can join us in these events to raise a lot of funds for the Pediatric Trauma Program and for UNICEF! FRANKLIN KC PRESIDENT

Donate to PTP and help make a difference!! It is a competition between different classes: freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors to see which can raise the most amount of money for PTP, The winning class will get donuts during one of our meetings!!! All donations will go towards the Pediatric Trauma Program., which helps reduce the number of children who are injured or killed by trauma. Remember, bills are negative points, coins are positive points! You can donate to other classes to sabotage their points!

HEY MONSTERS HOW DO YOU FEEL?? Interested in attending Fall Rally North at Six Flags? Grassroots soccer tournament At our Grassroots Soccer Tournament, we had a barefoot soccer tournament to raise money to prevent AIDS/HIV from spreading in Africa. Participants enjoyed hanging out with friends, playing soccer, and snacking on pizza and otter pops! We raised $100+ for this organization so thank you to all those who came out to support this cause!!

I felt great after making a difference since that made me feel like I just saved someone’s life or many lives from HIV/AIDS. We played soccer in the tournament and had fun while we watched other teams play. I loved playing in the Grassroots soccer tournament and I’ll come again next year! —Carey Wong
