Lover Massage Candle Share a moment of intimate connection with Kolya’s Lover Massage Candle. Scented with the delicate notes of flowers and chocolate, this candle makes the perfect gift for a special someone. YIELDS: APPROX. 1 CUP / 255 G MASSAGE OIL CANDLE
INGREDIENTS
½ cup {110g} cocoa butter ½ cup {105g} shea butter ¼ cup {25g} soy wax 1 Tbsp {15g} castor oil 20 drops La Fleur essential oil or your choice of scent 1 candle wick
DIRECTIONS
Select your favourite candle container and attach a wick to the bottom using candlewick glue tabs, high heat hot glue, or another form of candlewick fastener. Using thin sticks placed over the top of the container, ensure the wick is positioned in the center of your container and stays upright. Over medium heat in a double boiler, melt your cocoa butter, shea butter, soy wax, and oils together. Stir gently until completely melted. Once melted, remove from heat and pour carefully into your prepared candle container. Leave roughly 3 Tbsp of wax aside.
M AT E R I A L S
Candle container (at least 255mL) Double boiler Candlewick glue tabs or high heat hot glue Thin sticks (i.e. chopsticks or pencils) to hold the wick in place
Leave the candle in a cool, dry place for at least 8 hours or overnight to harden completely. This mixture takes quite a while to firm up and will remain slightly soft to the touch. Once completely cool, use a chopstick or small tool to poke 4-5 holes into the center of the candle around the wick. Remelt your reserved wax mixture using the same double boiler method. Once entirely melted, top up the candle. This method prevents the candle from tunnelling while burning. Leave in a cool, dry place to harden completely.
RECIPE NOTES
Use: Trim candle wick to 2-3cm in length, light, and let burn for a minimum of 20 minutes, or until the entire top surface of the wax is melted. This ensures your candle will burn evenly every time. Once finished, blow out your candle and let sit for 5-10 minutes before applying the melted oils to your body. The wax should be pleasantly warm to the touch. Be sure to test the wax before applying to avoid burns. *Use this recipe at your own discretion and ensure to patch test prior to use to avoid burns or sensitivities. Do not use it on your body while the candle is still lit. Do not leave a lit candle unattended. Recipe not intended for children; do not leave children unattended near lit candles.

Sugar Scrub Lip Balm A scrumptious lip balm packed with two ultra-moisturizing ingredients, jojoba oil and shea butter. With gentle exfoliation and a touch of fresh mint, this recipe is mistletoe-ready! YIELDS: 10-15 LIP BALMS -
DEPENDING ON TUBE SIZE
INGREDIENTS
3 Tbsp {30g} jojoba oil 1 Tbsp {15g} shea butter M AT E R I A L S
1 ½ Tbsp {14g} beeswax or vegan-friendly substitute
Double broiler
2 Tbsp {26g} unbleached organic sugar
Mixing bowls and spoons
15 drops Medicine Flower Mint Flavouring Oil
10-15 lip balm tubes
4 drops spearmint essential oil 4 drops peppermint essential oil 6 drops vanilla liquid stevia (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Using a double boiler, melt wax, shea butter and jojoba oil over medium / low heat. Stir frequently. If you do not have a double boiler, you can use a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water, being careful not to let the water touch the bottom of the bowl. RECIPE NOTES
This recipe makes many containers of lip balm, so there’s plenty to go around. To get the full benefit of the scrub, press the lip balm firmly on lips and move back and forth to exfoliate. Gently lick off the sugar and leave the residual balm on to hydrate and protect. This may also be used on cuticles.
TO USE:
While the mixture warms, prepare your lip balm containers for pouring: remove lids, and set upright on top of a paper towel. Once the mixture is melted and well incorporated, remove the pot from heat. Allow to cool for 1 minute, then add flavouring oil, essential oils, and liquid stevia if desired. When the mixture just begins to harden, add sugar and mix well. With a spoon or a butter knife, carefully squish balm into tubes and press firmly. Wipe away excess on the outside of the tube. Allow containers to cool and harden completely before capping and sealing. Give each tube one last wipe with a cloth or paper towel. Label and enjoy! 15

Kolya’s Spiced Eggnog A holiday classic without the hangover. And perhaps a hint of extra spice. Enjoy this virgin beverage and feel the warmth of December celebrations without the boozy burn (although feel free to add your kick of choice). The dairy-free version is just as delicious! YIELDS: 1.5-2 L
INGREDIENTS
5 organic free-range egg yolks 4 organic free-range egg whites ⅓ - ⅔ cups natural maple syrup (to taste) 2 ½ cups organic grass-fed whole milk or dairy alternative (i.e. Earth’s Own Barista Oat Beverage) 1 cup organic grass-fed whipping cream or heavy coconut cream 1 tsp freshly grated nutmeg ½ tsp cinnamon powder ⅛ tsp star anise powder or 3 anise stars (steeped during the heating process) ⅛ tsp cardamom powder
DIRECTIONS
In a medium mixing bowl, beat egg yolks until they are a pale yellow (1-3 mins) then slowly add the maple syrup and continue mixing until dissolved. Transfer to a large saucepan and set aside. In a medium saucepan, over medium-high heat, whisk together milk, whipping cream, and spices. Stirring frequently, heat mixture to a near-boil (around 130°F). Take care not to allow the mixture to burn. Temper the hot milk into the beaten egg yolks: ladle hot milk slowly into the yolk mixture while whisking constantly. Do not allow the hot milk to cook the eggs. Heat the fully combined egg/milk mixture on low until the temperature reaches 160°F, stirring occasionally. Pour through a metal sieve to remove any foam or oversized spices and transfer into a large bowl or 1L Mason jar. Place in the fridge to chill for at least 2 hours. Once the mixture is chill, beat egg whites in a medium mixing bowl on high until fluffy. Using a spatula, fold fluffy egg whites into chilled eggnog. Enjoy immediately or place back in the fridge for an extra day to let the flavours meld.

Holiday Spice Herbal Honey This recipe was formulated by our wellness consultants. It blends cinnamon, astragalus, fennel, and ginger to support the body through seasonal sniffles. Beyond that, it simply tastes amazing! YIELDS: 250 ML
INGREDIENTS
1 cup honey 4 tsp cinnamon powder 2 tsp ginger powder 1 tsp astragalus powder 1 tsp fennel powder 1 tsp orange peel powder 10-18 drops Medicine Flower Cinnamon Flavouring Oil
DIRECTIONS
*If honey is liquid enough to stir, you may skip the heating process. Remove 2-3 Tbsps of honey from the jar. This is to avoid overfilling. You can reserve the extra honey for use in tea, or other projects.* Fill a medium-sized pot with one and a half inches of water. Place jar of honey into the water bath. The water line should be well below the rim of the jar. Gently warm on the stovetop over low/medium heat. Do not allow water to boil.* Heat for approximately 10 minutes, then remove honey from the water bath. Use caution as the jar will be warm. Dry the outside of jars and carefully remove the lids to check the consistency. The honey does not need to be entirely runny, but it needs to be easily mixable with a spoon. If it is not yet melted enough, return the jar to the water bath, checking frequently.*
RECIPE NOTES
Use: Stir 1 tsp, or to taste, of Herbal Honey into 1 cup (250 mL) of hot water for a sweet and soothing tonic. Add to teas, lattes, tonics and elixirs. Drizzle over toast, porridge, add to salad dressings, and any other dishes that could use a hint of sweetness and spice!
In a small mixing bowl, combine the powdered herbs and spices. Mix well. Gently fold herbal blend into honey with a small mixing spoon until very well combined. Use a spatula to scrape down the honey from the sides of the jar and off of the spoon. Add 10 - 18 drops of cinnamon flavouring oil to the jar of honey, or to taste, and mix well. Clean any honey from the top ring of the jar before applying the lid. Seal and label.

Gama’s Orange Sherbert with Collagen
The holidays are a special time of year that unites us all. My family celebrates Christmas and every season my great grandmother (who I called Gama) hosted elaborate family dinners. As an appetizer, she would prepare a shrimp cocktail for the adults and a fruit cocktail topped with orange sherbert for the kids. This is a nostalgic favourite for me in honour of Gama. To increase the nutritional balance, we enhanced the sherbert with collagen. Enjoy this simply delicious citrus treat and celebrate the inner child within. -Rebecca

While yeast is activating, mix together flour, Fiberlicious powder, collagen, and spices into a large mixing bowl.
Transfer cut sections into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish, cover with a damp clean towel and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Once activated, slowly add your milk yeast mixture, eggs, and vanilla extract into your dry ingredients. Knead for roughly 5 minutes until a soft dough forms. If the dough is overly sticky, add 1 Tbsp of flour until soft to the touch.
Preheat your oven to 330°F degrees when rising is almost completed.
Cover the dough with a damp towel and store in a warm place for 2 hours until doubled in size. While waiting for the dough, prepare your filling by mixing all ingredients together in a mediumsized bowl. Once dough has risen, transfer to a floured surface and roll out into a 15-inch x 10-inch large rectangle.

Remove from the oven and prepare your frosting by mixing all ingredients together, adding milk one Tbsp at a time, and mixing at high speed until smooth.
