Johns Creek has more than 50,000 yards of golf, spread across seven championship 18-hole courses and two nine-hole courses in both public and private facilities. Recognized by both the US Golf Association and the Professional Golfers Associations, the course were designed by the sport’s best, including Rober Trent Jones, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Rees Jones, Thomas Fazio, Joe Lee & Arther Hills. The southern border of Johns Creek is the Chattahoochee River, and this river can be accessed via the Jones Bridge Unit off of Barnwell Road in Johns Creek. With 5,000 trout per mile of the river, it offers some of the best trout water in the South. Be sure to call 770-945-1466 to find out about water releases from Buford Dam before fishing or swimming in the Chattahoochee River.

Cricket In Johns Creek
Ping Pong, Fencing, Squash, The sport of Cricket is gaining tremendous popularity in Johns Creek Karate, Pickleball... and meeting the demands of our diverse population. Thanks to the work of the Johns Creek Cricket Association (JCCricket), we now have the first of its kind Cricket Batting Cages, Cricket Pitches and Electronic Cricket Scoreboard at Shakerag Park.
Johns Creek has a myriad of sports for all types of sports fanatics. If fencing is your game, Johns Creek is home to training facilities of some of the best fencing in the state of Georgia. Also, internationally-ranked table tennis training is available. With over 41 pickleball leagues and squash tournaments, there is sure to be a sport for you!
The inaugural Johns Creek Cricket Festival will be held in October at Shakerag Park. The festival will be an opportunity to celebrate the second biggest sport in the world with Cricket matches, food and music.

JCCricket’s goal of making Johns Creek a destination city for Cricket in the Southeast USA is underway. JCCricket’s Youth Program has over 125 athletes from ages 4 to 15. The Georgia High School Cricket, administered by JCCricket, has eight high schools participating, including Northview and Johns Creek. Johns Creek Panthers, Women’s Cricket, is also attracting many talented athletes.
