Laila Alfirdaus

I am a policy analyst and researcher with proven capability to conduct research and analysis in gender studies, poverty reduction, project development and management, and disaster related policies particularly in minority and internally displaced persons (IDPs) rights. Currently conducting research on disaster and identity change. Seeking opportunity for consultancy in those related fields with international development agencies, government, and nonprofits. I have been working as a faculty member at Department of Political Science and Government, Diponegoro University (a state university in Central Java), Indonesia since 2005. I graduated from Gadjah Mada University (B.A in political science) in 2004; and from Crawford School Economics and Government, Australian National University, Australia (Master of Public Policy) in 2008.
