Pre-requisites: basic obedience skills (dog is able to sit, go down, hold position, and walk politely on leash). Dogs should be at least 9 months and should not be aggressive to other dogs or people. Handlers are to be at least 16 years old. Shock collars, e-collars, choke chains or prong collars will not be allowed.

We use positive reinforcement throughout. Emphasis will be in practicing techniques with the use of some basic agility equipment (tunnels, jumps and the tire jump) and is best done by one person per dog as wach person has unique handling skills. At the end of this course we hope your dog will enthusiastically look forward to your training sessions and that you’ll have discovered how to keep your dog motivated and focused and have the skills necessary to move on to the next level of agility.
