nized by Business France and in partnership with French May Arts Festival and Consu-

late of France in Hong Kong & Macau, has been

one of the greatest gastronomic events in Asia since its inception in 2009.

Over the last decade, we have been voyaging through different French regions. The 13

th

edition of French GourMay, celebrates the theme of “Rhômantic Bistronomy” by presenting

his year, for the 13th edition of French GourMay

Food & Wine Festival, we are very happy to be presenting our Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du

Rhône Villages wines to illustrate French gastronomy and the excellence of French regional products in Hong Kong and Macau.

Hongkongers who have visited the southeast of France will remember fondly the landscapes and the hillside villages that make our region unique and attractive.

The rich and varied terroirs that border the Rhône River are the cradle of our Côtes du Rhône wines, thanks to the exceptional terroirs under the Mediterranean sun and in the Mistral Wind. Most famous for full bodied, generous and spicy red blends of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, our appellations also offer delicate whites and fruity rosés, hidden gems just waiting to be discovered!

In view of the challenges ahead, numerous wineries and domaines of Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Villages are more committed to respecting the environment for the generations to come. All of our 6,400 winegrowers and winemakers have one common objective: to make the very best wines from vineyard to bottle, while respecting the environment.

During the 4 weeks this May, more than 100 partners, from importers to restaurants, or retailers, will be showcasing Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Villages, giving all the consumers in town the opportunity to rediscover our wines! We can’t wait to

地絕美的山坡村莊與一帶風光。如此美境 配合隆河兩岸豐富多樣的風土條件，地中 海的陽光沐浴和西北風的陣陣吹拂，造就

出風味獨特的隆河丘酒。我們的產區以酒

體飽滿的紅酒聞名，主要由歌海娜、西拉和 慕合懷特葡萄混釀，同時也會出產白酒和 果香馥郁的玫瑰酒，有待大家細細品味。

全球目前正面對着各種氣候、環境、社會等 挑戰，隆河丘和隆河丘村莊的釀酒商和酒 莊更投入於環境保護，致力減少生產過程 對地方生態的影響，為我們的下一代盡一

French GourMay is the one and only major festival in Hong Kong and Macau dedicated to gastronomy à la française, organised under the umbrella of French May Arts Festival. French cuisine is one of the few UNESCO-listed culinary cultures. Each year, we celebrate the unique culinary treasure in collaboration with one French region.

For the 13th edition in 2022, French GourMay Food and Wine Festival will unbox the art on the plate and make gastronomic philosophies accessible to everyone. Let's also toast to our precious health with a glass of Côtes du Rhône wine!

Edible Romance Art of Wine-pairing with Côtes du Rhône We know true chemistry exists when we savour a well-executed food and wine pairing. The introduction of suitable wine can unleash the exquisite flavours of food, so that every bite becomes a gift from the terroirs. As the Wine of Honour this year, Côtes du Rhône’s wines have over 2000 years of history and the region is one of the oldest wine regions in the world. Thanks to 23 different grape varietals, the best-known being Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne, some native to the Rhône Valley, Côtes du Rhône wines have endless possibilities in terms of flavours and aromas.

Special promotion on Côtes du Rhône wines in retailers are available on your doorstep or at your fingertips. You may also enrich your dining or tasting experience via the learning programmes of our partners.

SKILL AND EXPERTISE The Rhône Valley’s geography and climate would be nothing without the creativity, craftsmanship and sheer hard work of their winegrowers and winemakers. One of their specialties in Côtes du Rhône is blending, and they have quite a selection of varietals to work with, giving them endless possibilities in terms of flavour and aroma. The appellation grows 23 varietals in total, the best-known being Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne, some native to the Rhône Valley.
