Alter Domus 15th Anniversary It started out as an ordinary briefing. A corporate services company wanted to celebrate its anniversary, by bringing together 2000 employees from around the globe for a 3-day trip. To optimize the longterm effect, VO Event proposed an interaction phase before the event. All employees were given the opportunity to meet and engage online. They were asked to team up for a common mission: create a cradle-to-cradle fashion design. The only helpline was their own creativity, and professional advice from 30 stylists. A creative challenge that took them out of their comfort zone, around a central theme that transcended all cultural or age barriers: fashion. On September 21, after 5 months of online workshops, everybody was travelling at the same time while nobody had a clue about program or
destination. First port of call: Genova, where they finally met in the flesh, where the outfits they had designed materialized on professional models, and where their projects were pushed to the next level. A private cruise took them over the

Mediterranean Sea on a 16-deck cruise ship to Marseilles, to assist with the presentation of the very first “Alter Domus collection� in a show worthy of any major fashion brand, starring their own creations. This celebration of creativity and cooperation was followed by a deck party on the cruise ship with a crew of international DJs.

Intimate Concerts, Get Close with SD Worx
To celebrate its 15th birthday in a big way, the KMO department of SD Worx challenged The Oval Office to come up with a brand experience. The company’s liveand communication teams came up with the original idea of inviting clients to an exclusive surprise performance... in the employees’ own living rooms!
launched a totally different concept, in which “Proxy” is the focus. SD Worx KMO main values are personal, close and accessible. The result? Intimate Concerts, Get Close with SD Worx: Thanking clients and
employees in a very personal and surprising way. 81 concerts on one night in the homes of SD Worx employees. 1600 clients, 230 employees and 110 artists were involved. There were hundreds of positive reactions afterwards. The many reactions on the internal ‘proxy’ Facebook group quickly showed that the Intimate Concerts were a great success. At the end of the evening there were already 400 enthusiastic comments, videos and photos.
The initial request was to organize a big event where there would be thousands of clients, with a staff party, either integrated or afterwards. The Oval Office evaluated the request and decided that the request was not a match for the DNA of SD Worx KMO. They therefore

R&D Company Day coaching and judging of the art pieces. The slogan ‘Together we make it happen’ was highlighted, thanks to the joint creation of a gigantic graffiti canvas, under supervision of graffiti artist Gijs Vanhee. Together, they worked very hard and the results were completely amazing. Employees testified enthusiastically that they got to know their co-workers in a surprising new way and personally also discovered new talents.
Late September, Exceptional Events organized the R&D Company Day for the pharmaceutical company Galápagos. The assignment was to provide something original (different from the previous “traditional” annual team-building activities) and do something for a good cause.

This assignment translated into a creative challenge for and together with the good cause: Sjarabang, an inclusive art studio for people with limitations. At its own initiative, Exceptional Events created a follow-up event in the context of ‘The Warmest Week’, to sell the beautiful art pieces at an auction for the benefit of VZW Sjarabang. The total was no less than 27,578 EUROS. All of that money went to VZW Sjarabang. Exceptional Events, Galápagos and VZW Sjarabang look back on both of these events with an exceptionally high ROI & ROE, with a warm feeling.

50 years Krinkels What started as a briefing for “one staff event to celebrate 50 years of Krinkels� turned into a full year of festivities (4 large events) and intense communication for a mix of target groups optimizing the return on investment. Through a unique approach, based on an in-depth research of the target groups and overall goals of the client, a tailormade creative concept was rolled-out. By using the 4 core values and daily activities of Krinkels as animation and the red line during the events, the client was able to bring across several different messages at once; a very powerful marketing tool. Combined with a detailed communication & press plan, the fundaments for success and a full year of maximum contact and return per target group was achieved. Not only was the staff motivated and invited but they
were joined by family members, clients, partners and stakeholders thus thanking all people involved. The open accountancy and intense working relationship with the client was another added value and protected the
initial budget. The great survey results proved the immense success of the event, just as the extra return through new clients, extra motivated and new staff, national publicity and visibility, were the result of hard work and dedication to go beyond limits.

Lidl Straffe Kost CityCubes was commissioned by Lidl to create a meeting place where students can be introduced to supermarkets and their products. “Create something unique, something that doesn’t exist yet, in the heart of a university town”... CityCubes accepted the challenge and created “Straffe Kost”, an intriguing student restaurant in the heart of Gent where students can come for « delicious meals that help the brain to study ». All the dishes were made with fresh ingredients from Lidl, of course. And because students must be able to study day and night, the restaurant was open 24/7, for five weeks in a row, from 23 May to 23 June. It was an enormous success and the impact on Lidl was huge. Over 12,700 unique visitors visited the restaurant
and enjoy Lidl’s cuisine. The objective was simple: reach more young people and convince them of the values of Lidl. The logistical, legal and technical challenges of Straffe Kost were so intense, that this pop-up restaurant was the most difficult production CityCubes
ever did. The agency therefore supported Lidl in the entire process: from concept, design, personnel, menus, permits, restaurant, cash register systems, online ordering, influencer-marketing to the communication and stock sale afterwards... The entire journey!

Open House Day at Umicore Olen Umicore wanted to increase the pride and involvement of its employees and at the same time profile itself as a sustainable and innovative company and an attractive employer. Push To Talk helped carry out the company culture and values with a strong substantive story. On 5 October 2018, 400 young people discovered the factory and the research department at Umicore in Olen. For two days, the doors were open to everyone: employees and their families, potential employees, neighbours and stakeholders. A total of 6,500 curious people walked around the technology of the future. Umicore is proud of its sustainable contribution to industry and to everyday life. Openness, innovation, respect, teamwork and dedication are core values that are very much alive at the

ZOO of Life In 2018, the Antwerp Zoo had its 175th anniversary. A special occasion that was celebrated in a special way: with a large-scale community project, in which 650 volunteers and 14 professionals collaborated on the musical ZOO of Life. The Antwerp ZOO not only wanted to celebrate its anniversary, but also wanted to strengthen the brand and expand the ZOO community. A very creative project was chosen: the creation of a musical in which ordinary people would perform next to well-known actors, to ensure an unforgettable experience. Everyone involved sang, danced, acted, sewed, crafted, supervised or cooked together for months for on ZOO of Life. With 40,000 tickets sold for the shows in the Koningin Elisabeth Hall, ZOO of Life was a great success. In addition, the
musical also resulted in an attractive net profit, as well as about 30,000 extra visitors to the Antwerp ZOO. On Sunday 15 April, the last performance ended in a spectacular farewell party for the volunteers and professionals. An enormous release after the exciting, but also exhausting, Easter vacation with no less than 23 performances. There was
laughter, singing, hugging and tears of happiness. Friendships for life were forged. This community project, through which ZOO of Life connects people and brings them closer together, was an amazing success. The anniversary year of 175 years of the Antwerp Zoo was started with bravura and in a suitable way.

The Zoute Grand Prix is the most prestigious oldtimers event that takes place every year at the beginning of October in the chic town of Knokke-Heist. For the third year in a row, Panama Events, in collaboration with Zoute Events, signed for the production, VIP hospitality and coordination of this exclusive event.
coming and guiding about 7,500 VIP guests, invited guests, partners and sponsors. In addition, Panama Events also took care of the catering coordination, signage and mobility: both in the city of Knokke-Heist and at the temporary venues, an efficient flow was organized.
22 events over 4 days at 5 different sites, 4,500 work hours, 4 months of preparations and the coordination of over 200 different suppliers – an enormous amount of work, which requires not only perfect planning, but also the utmost from crew, production, hosts and hostesses. The absolute eyecatcher was the monumental Marquee at the Royal Zoute Golf Club. This 2,500m² VIP tent was completely furnished with wood, with over 5,000 metres of wooden slats and 100 metres of customized panelling and then finished with glass and cast-iron windows and doors.
Panama Events took charge of the production, organization and hosting of the VIP venues. Specifically, the Marquee at Albertplein, the Drivers Club at Zeedijk and the VIP Marquee at the Royal Zoute Golf Club were constructed and dismantled, furnished and decorated from A to Z by Panama Events, with an eye for the smallest detail. As of April 1st, 2018, ING acquired Record Bank and thus welcomed several new customers. To successfully integrate the former Record Bank customers and get them familiarized with their new bank, ING hosted a series of 18 welcome events, spread over Flanders. New Balls Please proved to be the perfect partner for this challenge.
To set up an approachable initiative and to translate this objective into a concrete message, the concept ‘Welkom in ons huis’ was born. Private homes were carefully selected to invite the new customers in an approachable, local environment so they would experience a genuine homely atmosphere. The private homes contained authentic and personal elements that reflect ING’s promise for an individual approach. Subtle ING branding was present in the napkins, pillows and flowers in the hones. During every welcome day, invitees had the opportunity to choose and register for a time slot at their convenience.

During this slot, attendees received a welcoming presentation, got the chance to familiarize themselves with their new personal banker and enjoyed a freshly prepared meal from Albert Verdeyen. Additionally, they could book a follow-up meeting with their personal banker to talk about their capital and the possibilities more in detail. The 18 events provided the 90 Personal Bankers with the opportunity to see more than 1,400 customers. There was an average of 78 customers per day on a target of 80. There was a very high satisfaction rate from customers and bankers, based on satisfaction surveys realized on all the events.

Modular briefed King George to create an exhibition booth for Biënnale Interieur in Kortrijk from 18 to 22 October 2018. This is no ordinary exhibition booth, but one that would be the ‘talk of the town’ during the exhibition… The main objective was to generate more leads and create awareness of the concept ‘The Cult of M’and the lighting accompanying it. King George re-interpreted the briefing and proposed an experiential concept. Interior architects are a demanding audience; they are accustomed to a lot and must be surprised. That is why King George launched a micro-experiential event during a traditional exhibition.

They then introduced the story of light and connected light in an experiential journey, visualised from sunrise to sunset. In the last phase, the products were also involved. Because the booth was closed, a natural funnel was created for every visitor to go through.
A unique moment was created where the visitor was insulated from the exhibition. For 5 minutes, he was Modular, in a different world and had an experience where the message was conveyed through a visual and emotional story. This approach resulted in tripling the number of leads. The curiosity of the visitors translated into a continuous line-up of people waiting to go through the booth.

The Superhuman Academy was an immersive and truly memorable event to launch a bold new campaign ‘Superhuman you’, a new shoe technology ‘DNA AMP’ and a great new running shoe ‘The Levitate’. The goal was to create an experience around Brooks, talkability and secure (social) media coverage from key running, health and fitness bloggers and journalists.

In the immense Weapons Room, they will find “Origin”: an entirely new light and sound show by Luc Petit. The completion of the entirely new lighting system made it possible to enchant the Cave all over again. The Cave was expanded: the rooms still look increasingly more impressive and enchanted. In the middle of the visit, a complete light and sound show awaits them in the majestic Weapons Room, using all the latest video mapping and laser technologies.

Intimate Concerts, Get Close with SD Worx To celebrate its 15th birthday in a big way, the KMO department of SD Worx challenged The Oval Office to come up with a brand experience. The company’s liveand communication teams came up with the original idea of inviting clients to an exclusive surprise performance... in the employees’ own living rooms! The initial request was to organize a big event where there would be thousands of clients, with a staff party, either integrated or afterwards. The Oval Office evaluated the request and decided that the request was not a match for the DNA of SD Worx KMO. They therefore launched a totally different concept, in which “Proxy” is the focus. SD Worx KMO main values are personal, close and accessible.
The result? Intimate Concerts, Get Close with SD Worx: Thanking clients and employees in a very personal and surprising way. 81 concerts on one night in the homes of SD Worx employees. 1600 clients, 230 employees and 110 artists were involved. There were

On the occasion of their 50th anniversary, Idewe would like to thank their clients. In addition, they also wanted to announce the new strategy ‘Idewe is ready for the future’. Sylvester accepted this challenge.
On 18 September, 700 clients were invited to the Brabanthal in Leuven for the golden anniversary. It was unanimously welcomed very positively, there was a great wow-feeling, there were many thank-you emails and many
positive contacts. Particularly in the plenary portion, the expectations were exceeded by bringing a live TV show instead of a PowerPoint presentation session. In addition, informing the clients about Idewe’s tasks was handled creatively by building several stands to show the services interactively and that people could also actively participate in. A customized creative show that was written for Idewe with Kabuki, a light and sound show, dance acts, creatures, dancers in the air, etc., completed the evening.
Idewe asked Sylvester for an event with impact. An experience you won’t easily forget, and that people will still be talking about after several years. The concept must be innovative, so that the current, stuffy image can be abandoned. Sylvester developed a concept based on this briefing. Some extra, creative accents were added to this, which were not in the briefing, but which make the concept even stronger.

Ruby RB1 Launch In addition to white, milk and dark chocolate, Callebaut was the first in the world to introduce a fourth chocolate variant: Ruby RB1, with its all natural pink colour. New Balls Please were asked to create a suitable launch event. Chocolatiers, pastry professionals and chefs were invited to Callebaut’s exclusive launch event to come and taste this new variety and discover all the possibilities prepared by top Belgian chefs. The concept revolved around Hedonism. Upon arrival, guests were immersed in a pink Ruby-coloured light. The sweet scent of chocolate and fruit tickled their olfactory sense, while enchanting sounds set the right mysterious tone. This multi-sensory experience already
counted for a great first impression of the Ruby chocolate. A group of Ruby-covered creatures with Ruby led headsets guided guests to their places and playfully interacted

with them. The unparalleled chocolate fashion show that followed was the perfect build-up to the spectacular reveal of Ruby. A model covered in a complex layering of geometrical shapes of Ruby chocolate took the stage. The Ruby creatures destroyed her outer layers and shared the pieces of chocolate with the audience to taste. When the lighting changed, Ruby lettering appeared behind a beautiful lit-up dome. In the dome, guests were treated to creative food pairings by top Belgian chefs and a fitting DJ set. This Ruby RB1 launch event was the first of its kind and formed the ultimate starting point for other launch events that popped up (and keep popping up) worldwide.

Vandersanden Experience Due to the many acquisitions, Vandersanden Group grew a lot in the past year. The personnel file doubled in one year. The company already had an extensive tradition of parties, but now management felt the time was ripe to bring the whole family together. Just the right job for To The Point Events. The staff party was linked to a client event, where the clients from 24 countries were thanked for their years of trust. To The Point Events welcomed a total of 2000 guests at the Souverein, which was transformed into a gigantic home. At the event, guests came in through a hall where the history of the company was on display. Just like at family parties, you are welcomed here by the pater familias, after which you can enjoy the first appetizers and
champagne in the living room. Where to eat? In a kitchen with customized buffets. After dinner you can relax on a swing in the garden or in the lounge or play a game in the games room. In between all the festivities, the guests were treated to several acts, including a

Copperhead Bartender Days MeetMarcel were asked to create a unique Copperhead event that embodies what Copperhead stands for: the perfect blend of different ingredients that results in an experience never seen before. All national and international distributors of the Copperhead brand were invited, as well as upcoming and renowned bartenders from around the world. The event had to create an everlasting memory and emotional bonding with the Copperhead brand. MeetMarcel got total freedom to create this experience. MeetMarcel came up with the idea to create an immersive theater experience based on the world famous novel The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. No classic audience and performer experience in an obvious location, but a surrealistic and disruptive spectacle

where the viewers become the creators and vice versa. To design such a night, MeetMarcel collaborated with a specialized UK theatre company and over 40 Belgian actors, singers and dancers. The’Hotel Damier’ was the perfect decor in which the guests could stay the night. The personal and disruptive approach translated into a 96% confirmation to the event. And even during and after the event the guests were stunned. Early in the morning, finding a picture of yourself in your hotel room of the night before, secretly taken by Mr. Gatsby. A subtle quote provokes a last rush of ’Looks like you had an amazing night! Sweet dreams...’. The reactions to these events were astonishing. The combination of the disruptive concept and surrealistic storyline resulted into the desired objective. A brand exceeding itself and becoming an emotion.

Offshore Wind Energy Experience
The fifth wind park in the Belgian North Sea has begun to produce electricity this summer. This exceeded the goal of electricity generation for 1 million families. To celebrate this important milestone, The Oval Office organized a live communication experience for the Belgian Offshore Platform on the beach of Oostende. 15.000 papier windmills together formed the number 1,000,000 and brought offshore wind energy – which is produced far away at sea – close to the consumer for once. A team of 20 worked all night to assemble the thousands of little windmills and place them on the beach, ready to receive the national press in the morning. That resulted in reports in the news broadcasts of the VRT and RTBF, in the VTM
News and on Focus-WTV, as well as in the online and print editions of nearly all the Belgian papers. After the press moment, the beachgoers were invited to pick out a little windmill. A team of brand ambassadors also made a tour through all the other coastal towns to distribute windmills. Each windmill has its own unique code. The lucky winners were invited to take a free

boat trip to the wind park by the coast of Oostende on 15 or 16 September. In addition, there were also spots on the boat trips to be won in a competition at: www.windenergieopzee.be. Opening of New Hospital at AZ Sint-Maarten
In October of 2018, AZ SintMaarten opened a new, hyper-modern hospital with 650 beds and 14 high-tech operating rooms. AZ Sint-Maarten chose Push To Talk to organize the opening event and to show what the hospital of the future has to offer. A hospital first and foremost is the story of and for people. The employees are a big, colourful and warm family with their hearts in the right place. Together with the patients and the visitors, they bring colour and warmth to AZ SintMaarten. Their stories and anecdotes bring the story of AZ Sint-Maarten to
life. Push To Talk brought up those colourful stories to connect them with the authentic values of AZ SintMaarten. Quality, openness, respect, cooperation and ambition lead the provision of care and connect the employees to each other.
For ten days, events and guided tours were on the program for various target groups. At all the events together, over 15,000 visitors listened to the warm and inspiring story of AZ Sint-Maarten. During the open house days, as many as 10,500 visitors showed up. Families with children, seniors, people with a handicap, volunteers and curious people‌ all of them came to explore the ultra-modern hospital.
The stories run through each other like colourful threads and intertwine into a stronger whole. That is how Push To Talk came to a beautiful and colourful symbol: the Scoubidou. The Scoubidou stands for power and connectedness. Three coloured threads symbolize how the three campuses together form a whole and will stand stronger in the future.

European Mobility Week Brussels 2018 For the 17th edition of the Mobility Week, Brussels Mobility and the Minister’s Cabinet for Brussels Mobility challenged VO Citizen to develop a campaign in the wake of the Brussels Mobility Week that would promote Shared mobility. The campaign had to reach all Brussels residents and transform the mobility week event into a genuine showcase for all the Brussels initiatives relevant to soft mobility to inspire the target audience to change its habits. VO Citizen proposed a strategy supported by a strong creative concept: Nowadays, it is no longer necessary to have your personal car in Brussels. A bold statement supported by key visuals that were backed up with hard facts and evidence, all revealing what shared
mobility is and what its benefits are. VO Citizen gathered all key actors in the shared mobility sector and launched an awareness campaign delivering a consistent message through compelling visuals using the “before and after” principle. The campaign then ran its conversion and experiential phase in September, during the mobility week.

VO Citizen produced 8 “flagship” events in key Brussels “hotspots” that played on occupying spaces otherwise used by cars in normal circumstances. They also brought together the necessary content to produce an exhibition demonstrating the evolution of Brussels city.
