3.2 PROJETOS INSTITUCIONAIS INSTITUTIONAL PROJECTS

The Fundação do Futebol – Liga Portugal will develop relevant actions in partnership with other organisations/institutions/foundations, fostering synergies inbenefiting Professional Football and its community of fans and followers. In this sports season, we will continue to invest in the motto one Club, one Community, oneFoundation, with a strong focus on monitoring and following up the Clubs in their own projects. Giving impetus and promoting the support of Professional Football to various areas of society will be a priority.

3.2.1 THINKING FOOTBALL

Project description:

The grand international Football Fair will take place from 18 to 20 November at theSuper Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota, in Porto. The event will be a great showcase for football, with debates on big and important topics. The Fundação do Futebol - Liga Portugal will be present, based on the principles of commitment to Social and Environmental Sustainability, bringing to the forefront of this forum the importance of the players involved in the core business of Professional Football, as agents of social change.

Objectives:

Promote discussion on the importance of all stakeholders as factors for accountability and social change;

Put into perspective the different realities of those who watch and live Football; Support to national social solidarity institutions; Promote awareness of Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability; Bringing society's reality to Professional Football.

Return to the community:

In the forum dedicated to debating the Football industry, the Fundação do Futebol - Liga Portugal will bring up for discussion the importance that football, its players and professional competitions have for their communities. It will look at Professional Football as a means of dissemination and as a driving force for social change, which is essential nowadays.

At the same time, the Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability programme implemented in this event will be reinforced with social initiatives tosupport the surrounding community.

3.2.2 ONE CLUB, ONE COMMUNITY, ONE FOUNDATION

Project description:

Presenting the Clubs the foundational logic, as a strong added value in the practice of Social Responsibility and in the approach to the community. Raising awareness among sports clubs for the creation of a foundation through which, in addition to greater and more effective practices for the common good, they will be able to give and draw enormous benefits from it. The 2022-23 sports season will be marked by anemphasis on monitoring, advising and following-up with Clubs and their strategic planning focused on the implementation of Social and Environmental Sustainability actions.

Objectives: Increase the number of clubs with their own foundation; Spread the idea of one Club, one Community, one Foundation; Support the Clubs in the creation of foundations, both at a legal and social level; Enable Clubs to create their sphere of social and environmental work within theircommunities;

Return to the community:

The Autonomous Social Responsibility project provides for an understanding by the Clubs that comprise the professional competitions of their duty to play an active role in the communities. Social change imposes itself with a greater number of institutions working for the well-being of their communities, with the reaffirmation of Professional Football as a relentless industry operating off the pitch and with the training and passing on of values such as equality and fairness, cementing the idea that Professional Football is an insurmountable conveyer of positive and necessary values in society.

3.2.3 FUNDAÇÃO DO FUTEBOL – LIGA PORTUGAL GALA

Project description:

Annual gala dinner to raise funds for the implementation of projects of the Fundação do Futebol - Liga Portugal and/or another institution that advocates a great cause that meets the values of FFLP. A moment of glamour, notoriety and awards to Clubs, entities and partners for the Sustainability works and practices associated withProfessional Football.

Objectives:

Promote the work developed and highlight the projects of the Fundação do Futebol - Liga Portugal;

Promote synergies between stakeholders of the Liga Portugal and Fundação do Futebol with other entities, in favour of the Social Responsibility practices;

Raising funds for the Fundação do Futebol - Liga Portugal to implement its projects;

Award Sports Societies, entities and partners that are positioned at the forefront of Social Responsibility associated with Professional Football; Promote the Fundação do Futebol - Liga Portugal, its projects and partners, in both conventional and digital media;

To make the event a social milestone on the agenda not only of Professional Football, in particular, but of Portuguese society in general.

Return to the community:

The Fundação do Futebol - Liga Portugal Gala will show how Professional Football works in the area of Social Responsibility, establishing practices and encouraging more and better campaigns aimed at helping the sporting community. It will also be an opportunity to reward the Sports Societies and entities that are already Social Responsibility role models in Professional Football.

The proceedings raised during the event will also allow to support entities/ institutions in their missions to meet needs in different areas of action.

3.2.4 INTERNATIONALISATION

Project description:

The internationalisation project promotes the identification of strategic partners and consequently the planning and organisation of a campaign involving the raising and collection of goods for distribution in the target community. Consolidating the partnership with the Non-Governmental Organization for Development, Porto Social Action Group (GASPORTO), the current sports season will be marked by the maintenance of support for the Kukula project, in the village of Macia in Mozambique. The project will ensure continued access and continuity of schooling in different areas of education for several children.

Objectives:

The aim is to provide the project with solutions that address the basic needs of the community identified;

Cooperate with international and local entities for the continuation of the Kukula project; Integrate partners and sponsors into implementation to support social change; Use the power of Football to help the PALOP community develop a spirit of strength and self-improvement.

Return to the community:

Together with the identified population, together with the partner institutions, deliver and distribute various materials related to football and other needs. This project will bring added value to the impacted community, with the Fundação do Futebol - Liga Portugal serving as the driver of hope, creating unforgettable moments.

3.2.5 SOLIDARITY EVENT

Project description:

A Solidarity Event will allow to boost, promote and raise awareness and funds for the Fundação do Futebol - Liga Portugal and/or another institution that defends a great cause that meets the values of the Fundação do Futebol - Liga Portugal.

Objectives:

Promote the actions of the Fundação da Futebol - Liga Portugal and the best sports practices;

Provide joint synergies between the stakeholders of Liga Portugal and the Fundação do Futebol with other entities, in favour of Sustainability policies;

Raising funds for the Fundação do Futebol - Liga Portugal to implement its projects;

Promote the entities and partners that are positioned at the forefront of Social Responsibility associated with Professional Football;

Make the event a social/sporting milestone on the agenda not only of Professional Football, in particular, but of Portuguese society in general.

Return to the community:

The Solidarity Event will allow promoting the name and causes of the Fundação do Futebol, by rooting practices and encouraging more and better practices and campaigns aimed at helping the sports community. Alongside this, the funds raised during the Solidarity Event will support not only the Fundação do Futebol - Liga Portugal, but also other entities and institutions in their mission to meet needs in different areas of action.
