B Gridiron Football Top 300
rian Jenkins is a 5’8 190lb Running Back in the class of 2023 and plays for the Pearl River Rebels out of Pearl River, Louisiana. Brian exudes strength. As a sophomore in high school, Brian has a 425lb max on squat, a 415 max on deadlift, a 275 bench max, and a 245 clean max. However, his game is more geared towards his shiftiness and one-cut abilities. The Running Back has taken many ankles, as seen in his film, and has shown the ability to bounce off of tackles and find ways out of getting tackled, along with great break away speed to take advantage of open grass and get the touchdown. He does more than run the ball for his team however, as he has good hands to catch the ball out of the backfield and then turn into a YAC specialist, making him just as dangerous weather it is a designed run or a designed pass.

Tell me about yourself, what are some things you are into? I am into sports, a lot of sports. I am pretty much just into sports with a little bit of gaming on the side. I am into football and track, I like baseball. I am into Call of Duty, Madden, 2k. My coach always has me lifting to, trying to get stronger and ready for the season. I like to squat; I just feel like I do more on squat than I can do on anything else. It helps my explosive running too. When did you start playing football? I started playing at 3 or 5, my dad really pushed me and helped me to get into the sport, he helped me develop my game to get better over the years. My dad has a training camp that he brings me to every year. It is called Jenkins Training Camp, we just run through drills and workout. What motivates you to get out and practice every day? What is your why? What motivates me is, I have a goal. My goal is to try to make it to the NFL. I want to reach my goal really bad, I get up every day with a purpose and motive to do better every day in order to get there. Is there anybody you look up to/aspire to be? I look up to my dad and my uncle, my uncle was a powerlifter, and he does a lot of heavy weight. He helps me on my forms so I can do more weight. My dad helps me with everything football related like my footwork, agility, all that stuff. Do you have a favorite college or NFL team? I like the seahawk and LSU. I just like all the Seattle players and their style of play. I like LSU just because they are my home team, it is like a home team pride I have. What NFL player do you try to model your game around? I would say Saquon Barkley, Marshawn Lynch, and Christian McCaffery. Those three just stand out to me, their style of play, the way they run the ball and the way they do stuff in general all amaze me. I like their attitudes as well. What has football taught you about life and yourself in general? Football has taught that I can always do better all around, it taught me be a better person to be honest. There is no “I” in team, you cannot be the best person on the team, when you lose, you lose as a team, you do not blame it on one person. It taught me that the line is important, as well as every player on the team.
