D Gridiron Football Top 300

ylan Senda is a Lineman in the Class of 2023 for Divine Child High School in Dearborn, Michigan. Senda has an incredible build for his position standing in at 6’5” and 295 lbs.; this build allows him to wall off defenders at Offensive Guard and Center, while plowing through the O-line at D-tackle. While on offense, Senda uses his size and strength to stop defenses in their tracks and allow his backfield all the time in the world. On defense, he combines his strength with precise technique to get into the backfield and stop anything the offense throws at him. His size and strength may be impressive, but what really stands out to me is how he gives his 110% effort every snap and doesn’t give up until the whistle is blown. With his impressive work ethic and great potential, we should be excited to see what Dylan Senda is going to do in the future. When did you start playing football and why? I started playing flag football at 5 years old. I started tackle football in 3rd grade. Why because I was born to play football. I was a big athletic kid from the get-go and love the game. Favorite moment of your career so far? Playing with my teammates on the Divine Child Varsity Football Team as well as starting as being a starter on both sides of the ball since my Freshman year.

What current or past player do you think you play like the most? Quenton Nelson, OG for the Indianapolis Colts. I like his style of play as well as his character on & off the field. Do you have a quote or anything that pushes you daily? Push yourself to do better in everything you do better than you did the day before. What do you think a college would get out of you as a player? I am an athlete that has really improved over the last year. I am 6’5 270 and things are really starting to click for me. I have improved my mobility, flexibility, and quickness. I am just scratching the surface at what I can do. I am dedicated to work hard each and every day to gradually get better. I am consistent and have the right plan to continue to get better. I would be a true team player, a leader and a very competitive baller. What motivates you to get up and train every day? I truly love the game of football. I love everything about it... the completeness, the athleticism needed to play at your optimum level as well as being a part of a brotherhood or team. I also love the chase of winning from being prepared and giving it your all. What do you think makes you a good teammate? My character, my desire to support and work with my teammates to achieve our goal of winning. Also, leadership skills have been helpful. What do you think the best part of your game is? Technique, and aggressiveness as well as the ability to make plays. Favorite part about playing on the offensive line? Being able block somebody to help your team score a touchdown. Taking a man from point A to B down the field or pancaking them right off the line. Do you have a favorite play to run? I love our DC run plays because I can get physical and make plays happen. I see you often pancake the guy in front of you, what are some techniques you use to do this? Getting your hands on the right spot of the shoulder pads, combined with fast feet to drive the man into the ground. You also have to really want to do it! What are some advantages you think you gain with your size? More strength/power off the snap and increased leverage are some of the advantages. Do you take pride in protecting your qb? Of course, all day! I do the dirty work so he can stay pretty. What are you thinking pre-snap while on the Oline? I specifically watch the D- line to know what steps I am going to take to give me the advantage.
