mmett Johnson is a Running Back and Safety in the Class of 2022 for The Academy of Holy Angels High School in Richfield, Minnesota. Johnson possesses a build that other players dream of having, standing in at 6’0” and 180 pounds, his size allows him to bully and dominate opposing players on both sides of the ball. At running back, Johnson slices through defenses with his outstanding agility and elusiveness, nobody stands a chance at tackling him 1 on 1! His ability to avoid tackles is paired perfectly with his incredible strength and breakneck speed; all of this is displayed in his film as he seems to be able to take on opposing defenses 11 on 1. On defense Johnson minimalizes opposing offenses at the safety position. His ability to read the offense and come back to the ball is crazy, receivers often have no time to think after catching the ball as Johnson has already tackled them to the ground. With seemingly unlimited potential and another year of high school football ahead of him, Emmett Johnson should be a player that everyone looks out for next year. When did you start playing football and why? I started playing when I was 8, my coach got me into it when I was playing with my friends at a park. Favorite moment of your career so far? Winning the sectional championship. Another one is 5 TDs and 400 yards against a really tough team and a win. What current or past player do you think you play like the most? My game is really similar to Alvin Kamara, I can catch the ball, I’m a hard runner, and can make cuts.

My music probably, I listen to all types of music, I don’t just limit myself to hip hop. What do you think the best part of your game is? My ability to make people miss in open field.
