DEAR SINDY...
before Sindy collector Patrick loves a 'damsel in distress' and couldn't wait to re-vamp Marilyn. Her hair was very 'woolley' but he feels re-rooting isn't always the answer. With a little TLC he brought her bombshell hair back. He admits it’s definitely a scary experiment when you first try the straighteners technique, but his best advice would be: Soak the hair in either fabric softener mixed with some water, or hair conditioner. It doesn’t seem to matter how long; I’ve soaked both overnight and just for a few minutes; Then rinse out and leave hair damp. Comb through the hair with a thin comb (I like a nit comb!). Turn on the straighteners until they are almost too hot to touch, then TURN THEM OFF. Work plug by plug, or with small amounts of hair. Start by spraying that section of hair with water, comb through, flick the straighteners back on for three seconds, TURN THEM OFF then work from the scalp to tip firmly but quickly, pulling the hair a little as you go, then spray with water and repeat. >>
