education & workforce Get Money for College with FAFSA Do you have a high school senior that would like to attend college or career technical school? There is funding available to help with tuition. All high school seniors should apply for financial aid regardless of their income. The Office of Federal Student Aid provides approximately $112 billion in grant, work-study, and loan funds each year to help pay for college or career school. The only way to access these funds is to complete an application. The window opens January and there is help available to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Manatee County School District offers several workshops to help high school seniors complete their forms by providing one on one assistance. Those in attendance will receive a $20 Publix gift card!
All workshops are open to Manatee County high school seniors and their parents or guardians. All workshops are held from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. FREE In Person Workshop dates: • February 1 - TEAM SUCCESS
