This last part focuses on the role of cultural mediation in cultural institutions, and the role of institutions in cultural mediation. In their contributions, the participants working on this theme analyse the frictions generated by societal changes often conveyed by educators and artists within institutions. The text “Grasping the institution as a verb”, by one of the group’s participants, Mirl Redmann, is published in English in order to offer a glimpse of the discussions that took place during the autumn school.
