LU Arts Offering a wide variety of creative activities and events, LU Arts is Loughborough’s student-focused, extra-curricular arts programme.
Covering music, performing arts, visual arts and creative writing/spoken word, there is something for everyone to enjoy in their spare time, no matter what your course or skill level. You can get creative and learn new skills in hands-on arts and crafts workshops, take part in open mic nights, enjoy screenings and exhibitions or sign up to evening classes. For musicians, tuition is offered in a range of instruments and there are music practice rooms available seven days a week, free of charge. Each year, LU Arts offers a package of music and arts scholarships with cash prizes and free tuition/mentoring, which help students develop their talents further and contribute to the creative life of the campus. Arts grants are also available for student societies, associations or groups to help fund student-led arts projects and events.
