AT YOUR NEXT EVENT Husband and wife team Bianca and Darren Frankling, owners of Beedazzled Events, were planning their own wedding celebrations years back when they accidently discovered a very lucrative gap in the ‘events’ industry here on the Sunshine Coast. Bianca says “I found it really hard to find a coordinator and decorator with new elements and fresh ideas for wedding decorations”. Bianca and Darren ended up organising most things themselves for their wedding and before too long they opened their Sunshine Coast business ‘Beedazzled Events’. The funky business name cleverly combines the couple’s first names; Bee (for Bianca) and Daz (for Darren).

They work perfectly as a team with Darren being a chef, heading up the catering side of the business, and Bianca the Managing Director and decorating guru. The business has been running since 2005 and now employs a large team of creative, fun, professionals ready to make any event totally spectacular! Bianca likes to have fun, and loves working with her husband, although these days Bianca is working a lot more in the background of the business allowing her awesome team to get on with the day to day stuff. This allows Bianca to work more on the business rather than in it. Bianca who has a background in Interior Design and Corporate Sales (for companies such as Coca Cola and Telstra) has the ability to turn ideas into fruition. Focusing her attention on the corporate market, Bianca’s Mother Rhonda looks after the weddings market as General Manager and runs the team of decorators. Darren manages
We asked Bianca what she thinks makes Beedazzled stand out, she said “It’s definitely our personal service that is our point of difference, we always ask questions about what our clients want, rather than telling them what they should have. Most of all we absolutely deliver exactly what they do want,” says Bianca.
