2021–2022 IMPACT STORIES
Giving back is part of who we are. Thanks to those donors recognized on the following pages, students’ educational experiences continue to be enriched. Every student in every grade benefitted from new learning resources, athletic and arts equipment, and technology.
Special projects to further enhance sustainability at Balmoral Hall were also funded by donors.
In response to the war in Ukraine, the generosity of our community was on full display to welcome students who require funding for emergency relief financial aid.
Donors also contributed to several endowment funds, including the founding gift from Balmoral Hall Parent Association (BHPA) to launch a new Innovation Endowment Fund, which will provide ongoing support for technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship programming.
Thank you for supporting a growing endowment that funds bursaries for students with exceptional potential who require bursary support, whom we refer to as girls of promise.

Recently, we had the opportunity to sit down for tea with Sofiia (right), a Grade 9 boarding student. Joined by soon-tobe graduate Anastasiia and her mother, Tetiana, they reflected on their journeys from Ukraine to Canada. Sofiia and Anastasiia, along with Kristina in Grade 7, enrolled at Balmoral Hall School thanks to donations to our Emergency Relief Financial Aid Fund. Every year, forever, The Class of 2022 Bursary Fund will help a student in need thanks to contributions from students, parents, grandparents, faculty, and staff. The Class of 2022 is the fifth graduating class to establish a bursary fund with The Balmoral Hall School Foundation, but they are trailblazers in student-led fundraising initiatives. In addition to a successful plant sale in May 2021, they packaged more than 300 cookie-decorating kits last December. Thank you, all.
