Fitness at the Riverfront Community Center As we all adjust to the new “normal” and attempt to resume living in a safe and healthy manner, the Parks and Recreation department is adjusting with you. We continue to monitor temperatures for guests at the Riverfront Community Center. We maintain daily cleaning of all of our facilities. Masks are required in the general use areas of the center. We are practicing social distancing. We continue to assess each class, each event, and each service on a regular basis and make changes as needed. All events and sports listed may be changed or canceled, if the need arises.

In accordance with City Ordinance 8154, all persons entering the community center must wear a mask unless exempt as outlined in Sec. 22-205 (c). In paragraph 8 of this section, persons do not need to wear a mask while engaged in various workout and aerobic activity (to include in the pool), but must wear a mask when going to or from these areas and all other general use areas of the center. This ordinance will remain in effect until January 31, 2021, unless otherwise amended by the City Commission.

Admission fee includes use of the weight room, cardio room, indoor track, pool during lap swim times, open pickleball gym, and racquetball courts. Dog Manners and Obedience - Dog trainer Kim Downing will teach you and your four-legged friend the basic commands. Geared for dogs ages 4 months or older. Must be current on vaccinations.
