HIRE Loans NetWork KS administered the HIRE fund on behalf of the Kansas Department of Commerce which was released in late March. City staff assisted in their review of businesses which resulted in 7 loans approved (4 businesses in Leavenworth - and 3 in Leavenworth County). The $5 million HIRE loan program offered loans up to $20,000 at 0% interest for a term of 3 years with deferred payment of 4 months.
